CEO's Reborn Wife-Chapter 2055 - 2063: Spending Freely
The card belongs to James Black. Jane Sampson just transferred all the cash she could get hold of, plus all the money she could access in James Black’s account, to this card.
"There’s not much money in the card right now, but later, the trust company will transfer all my remaining money to this card. You should also talk to Alexander Forest and let him use it freely."
Even so, Jane Sampson knew it was just a drop in the bucket.
The assets she held in trust were not something that could be liquidated at will. After all, these were left to her by her elders. From the beginning, they worried she wouldn’t understand financial management, so when they handed them over to professionals to manage, they arranged the investment directions of these assets.
What can be liquidated are just some fund stocks and bonds, while the rest, those under contract to only receive annual dividends, actually make up the majority. There are no conditions for her to liquidate them.
Even if they could be used as collateral, it would require many cumbersome procedures and a considerable amount of time.
"This is all of yours and my brother’s assets, right? You’re just lending it to Alexander Forest like that? Aren’t you afraid if the Forest Clan Group doesn’t make it, all this money will go down the drain?" Peter Gingery asked although he still took the card. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
"The Forest Clan Group didn’t rise overnight, and it’s naturally unlikely to collapse overnight either. This money of mine is just a drop in the bucket for them, but if it can help with their urgent needs, that’s good too," Jane Sampson said. "Alexander Forest is James Black’s childhood friend; even if James were here beside us, he would probably do the same."
Jane Sampson trusted the Forest Family. They weren’t nouveau riche or overnight millionaires; they had deep foundations. Jane Sampson was confident that the Forest Clan Group would get through this crisis.
"Then I’ll pass it on for you. If the Forest Clan Group loses this money, in the future, you won’t have money to buy bags, shoes, or lipstick," Peter Gingery joked, "Don’t cry then."
"James will buy them for me!" Jane Sampson replied without hesitation, "I don’t need to cry for him to buy them for me."
Peter Gingery felt a bit envious.
"My brother’s money is all spent on you; what can he use to buy for you?" Peter joked, "With his salary, he can take you for some roadside hotpot, or a cup of milk tea, but bags, shoes, and so on, that’s a different story."
Jane Sampson rolled her eyes at Peter Gingery, "I’m not as poor as you think, and James isn’t as poor as you think either. Even without relying on James, I have enough from annual dividends to spend frivolously!"
Peter was momentarily speechless.
Almost forgot, Jane Sampson is a little rich lady.
Taking out the money might make her poor for a while, but just for a while.
Moreover, there are several elders in the family. Jane Sampson is the darling of the Black Family; who could bear to let Jane suffer?
Not to mention others, just his own mother.
Every season when those big brands release new items, his mother wishes to move everything home to stuff Jane Sampson’s cloakroom.
Peter Gingery, failing to tease Jane Sampson, left with the card she gave him feeling a bit deflated.
When he went downstairs, Brooke Black happened to be making a call. Peter heard a couple of sentences, caught a hint of something, and turned to ask his dad, "Was it the Forest Family calling?"
"Yes, it was Alexander Forest calling about the Forest Clan Group," Father Gingery nodded, praising, "Usually, Alexander seems carefree and unserious, but at crucial times, he still considers the Forest Family, humbles himself, and has good family education."
