CEO's Contract Obsession-Chapter 87: Dress Up
The weekend is coming to an end and it’s finally time for Any and Henry to go back to the city. It was a tiring Saturday and Sunday for Henry, not the one he had in mind. When he planned to stay at Amy’s farm he was thinking of doing fun and romantic things with her and not becoming Mary’s errand boy.
Mary keeps on making him guilty about ruining her party and patio so he finds it hard to say no to whatever she asked him to do that day. Amy took the opportunity to make herself busy as well with her book especially since she was almost done with it.
In the end, Henry didn’t get any chance to have a lovey-dovey time with Amy. This made his mood sour and seems like Amy was tired as well from trying to finish her book. Henry pouts inside his car while driving back to his mansion as he looks at Amy every now and then while she was sleeping comfortably in the passenger seat.
His mood became fouler when they arrived at his mansion and saw Anton’s car. Anton being at his home without an invitation or call on a weekend only means bad news. He sighed multiple times as he park his car in his indoor garage which woke Amy up.
"Are we home?" Amy asked as she yawn and flutter her eyes open.
"Yes, love, you go ahead. Anton is here, I’ll see him first," Amy nodded at him and they went their separate ways as he went to his study and Amy went to their room.
Anton handed several documents to Henry as soon as he got inside his study. Henry read it for some time and his face creased and it became more contorted as he read more of its contents. His fist clenched and his other hand held onto the document tighter.
"Is this a valid contract?" Henry asked Anton.
"Not anymore since Mr. Bell is already dead but it will be if Amy will decide to proceed. It is a huge amount that even you cannot give to her, at least not yet."
Henry’s teeth gritted, his blood boil just thinking of the possibility that Amy would agree to the deal that her father made with Ash’s father. He cannot convince himself that Amy would not accept it knowing that Amy would rather sacrifice herself than become a burden to anyone.
"Is there a way to make use of that land now?" Henry asked Anton another question.
"No, since the title is with the bank, we won’t be able to get any permits for it," Anton explained.
Henry kept quiet for some time lost in deep thought on what he should do to help Amy get back her property.
"She said she loves you, so why not just do it? It will solve all of your problems you know," Anton said as he picks up all the documents to put them back in his suitcase.
"It’s too early, she might say no. Then I will be back to square one," Henry craned his head to look at the ceiling as if he can find the solution there.
"Not if you will tell her this," Anton suggested.
"I don’t want to force her. I want her to say yes because she wanted it and not because it’s the solution to her problems," Henry said as he made another deep sigh.
"I still think that it is best to tell her, then let her decide what to do next. You know that both of you should not let this slip from your hands. It’s too big to let go," Anton stood up preparing to leave.
"I will think about it," Henry replied before Anton nod at him and left.

Amy took the opportunity to call Ava as soon as she was in Henry’s room. It’s the perfect time to ask about Ash without anyone hearing her.
[It is all set Amy, he agreed to meet you on Friday, since the boss would expect you to visit Bellory that day anyway,] Ava confirmed.
Amy gave a sigh of relief that she can finally talk to Ash in person and ask all the questions she had been wanting to ask. Henry had added more bodyguards to her team after Ash and he had a fight, and it would be harder to meet Ash then.
When Ava ended the call her mind flew back to Henry. She was expecting them to be alone on the farm the whole weekend but Mary is adamant about giving Henry more tasks saying that it is to test him if he is willing to do all of those for her. But she knew well that Mary was just trying to annoy Henry.
She made him help with fixing the outdoor patio since Theo will handle the supposed to be compensation, leaving the patio still damaged. Mary made him help her dad in fixing most of the damage since it was not that hard to fix.
Amy smiled at the thought of Henry hammering the wooden railings and carrying all the materials needed by Mary’s dad. She recalled him being shirtless, his body glistening in sweat as she watch his muscles show up as he do manual labor.
Amy’s face turned red at her own thought, "Gosh, what am I thinking."
Well, come to think of it, she did get turned on when she saw Henry doing construction work and she found it sexy and manly. And she was thankful that he was there and Mary’s dad did not have to fix it alone.
She then remembered her reward list, she still have 4 items left and she read through it on her phone, she decided to do all of it tonight for Henry as a thank-you for helping and doing more than he should.
One task on her list is ’dress up for your partner’ so she quickly went to the walk-in closet and took some clothes before she went to the bathroom to wash up before wearing what she picked.
