CEO's Contract Obsession-Chapter 114: Too Accommodating
It was already almost evening when they finish everything that they need to do after skydiving. The photographers printed their pictures and gave them a copy of their video after editing it.
After settling everything from the jump site, their group went to a farmer’s market. The girls indulged themselves in buying different kinds of fresh seafood, meats, vegetables, and fruits.
"Love, why are you buying a lot? Our chef can do this for you," Henry told Amy as he watched the three women buy from one stall to the other.
"What chef are you talking about? We will cook this ourselves," Amy handed over to him the plastic bags with seafood that she just bought.
Confused and lost, Henry asked another question while following Amy like a duckling following its mother, "What do you mean cook it ourselves? I don’t know how to cook, Amy."
"Don’t worry most of these will be grilled, that’s easy I’ll teach you," Amy handed him another bag of vegetables this time. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
Anton and Rei joined them back after buying drinks and they bought a lot of booze.
"What is going on? Why am I not informed that we’re going to have a party at my house?" Henry frowned still confused with everything.
"We don’t know, ask your girlfriend," Anton shrugged and walked to Mary, leaving Rei with Henry.
Henry squinted at Rei smelling something is up, "You are not telling me something, spill it out Rei."
Rei walked faster to get away from him, "I am innocent, don’t ask me, ask Amy!"
After the girls finished shopping for food, they went back to their respective cars. Amy is still the one who is driving Henry’s truck. She did not let him drive today not even for a second, so Henry has no idea where they are going each time he gets in the truck.
"I’ll lead the way, follow me," Amy instructed before stepping on the accelerator. Anton and Rei brought their own cars so they can, later on, go their separate ways.
"Where are we going, love? This is not the way to our house," Henry kept looking around, wondering where is Amy taking him.
’Our house,’ Amy smiled and her mind went somewhere else, imagining her and Henry building a family together. She imagined their future kids playing with Jayson and Jena. But her imagination was cut short.
She heard Henry calling out her name almost shouting, "Amy! Are you listening to me, why are you not answering me? And what are you smiling about? I am starting to hate surprises! Don’t tell me you will make me do another nerve-wracking sport?"
Amy laughed out loud hearing how nervous Henry was, the skydiving surprise must have really got him good. She pities him but finds him funny at the same time.
"Relax, you ask too many questions. No more sports, my love. We will just eat dinner after cooking it ourselves. No need to panic, it will be a relaxing night," Amy was chuckling in between as she assured Henry.
But while Henry is worried about what Amy had for him next, Amy is excited to show Henry their next location. Henry has been working his a$s off the last few days to the point of not getting enough sleep and she just wants him to relax.
Plus the three days they have been apart had been hard for the both of them and Amy wanted to spend the whole weekend with him without thinking about work.
She’s also happy that Mary and Sandra accepted her invitation and Rei and Anton have been very accommodating in entertaining her best friend and cousin. Too accommodating she thought, she reminded herself to ask the two later what is going on.
She can sense something with those four.
Henry’s eyes widen as they enter a huge iron gate. A security guard checked Amy’s ID and let them enter after she signed on the tablet that the guard is holding.
Henry finally smiled and felt excited as Amy drives into the property. It was dark already but the amount of lighting the place has was enough for Henry to see how beautiful the place is.
The driveway is decorated with young trees and lamp posts. He realized that Amy wanted to bring him to a resort to relax, and he appreciated her effort.
They have to drive a bit far before reaching the pavilion of the resort. The staff took their stuff and car keys after the manager lead the way going to the place where they will stay at.
"As requested by Ms. Bell. You will stay in our private villa where you will have your own gate, pool, and beach. There are three cabanas in the villa, one master and the other two are twin rooms.
There is a separate indoor and outdoor kitchen and dining, feel free to use whichever you like. Don’t hesitate to call us if you need anything," the resort manager said before she handed them their key cards.
"Thank you, but I think we got everything that we need," Amy said and the manager nodded before leaving.
"Wow babe, this is amazing! Too bad we only have this place until tomorrow. I could live here," Mary exclaimed as she inspect the place. Tropical plants and trees surrounded the area, such as bamboo, bird of paradise plants, different types of ferns, and other foliage.
The cabana’s walls were made of concrete painted in white and has a thatched roof. All three have a small front patio with a rattan swing on one side and a loveseat sofa on the other.
The cabanas and the covered space housing the indoor kitchen and dining were built facing a round outdoor dining area in the middle forming a circle.
"Let’s settle our bags first then let’s all meet in the kitchen so we can prepare the food. Boys, you’re in charge of the grill, lit it up without burning the place," Amy instructed before pulling Henry towards their room.
"So... What do you think?" Amy asked Henry as soon as they got in their room.
"I love it. And this is the part where I want all of you for myself, we should send the others home," Henry said with a serious tone.
Amy dropped her jaw, dumbstruck by what he said.
