CASSANDRA: The Unfavored Princess-Chapter 161: Levitating
Princess Valeria laughed.
Her eyes glowed with irritation and madness. Princess Cassandra swallowed as she looked up at the sky.
The uneasiness in her body increased. She felt like something was happening and yet she did not know what it was.
Princess Valeria concentrated her powers as she looked at the others with narrowed eyes. Her feelings were unstable and her rage made her burn from inside.
Princess Valeria moved her hand and the air in the surroundings moved along with her hand movements. The dark clouds came lower as the sky was filled as if it was night.
"What is happening?" Princess Teimei asked. She did not know that things would take such a turn but to her surprise they did. She turned around as she looked at her brother whose eyes were focused on the secretary.
"Princess Valeria is trying to distract everything. It looks like she wants to use all of her energy and power to kill everyone." The secretary tried to explain. After spending so much time with her, the secretary knew her personality.
Princess Valeria was an emotional person but she was possessive as well. It was not that difficult to know her mind.
Everyone looked at the secretary but soon a wave of fire emerged in the air. The black clouds were on fire as Princess Valeria moved them towards all.
A red and yellow wave moved past them as Princess Cassandra’s eyes widened. She wants to use her powers to stop it. But before anything could happen Lord Bentham and Blazh moved on to protect. They created a barrier around them of water. It looked like a dome as Amy tried to create one as well, but her powers did not allow it.
Aiden Salvador’s hold on Princess Cassandra tightened. He knew that Princess Valeria was a crazy person, but he never thought that she would go to such lengths.
The fire resulted in melting all the snow up. The mountain was exposed as its peak could be seen. The secretary who was in the protective layer smiled. He moved towards the end of it as he looked at the first Princess.
"Put a fireball at the top of the mountain." The secretary shouted. "It will give you a lot of crystals."
Princess Valeria’s eyes moved towards the top. She swallowed hard as she could feel that her powers had taken a drastic turn. She was losing focus.
[I need more power.]
[I need the crystals.]
Princess Cassandra heard Princess Valeria’s thoughts as she turned to Duke Salvador, she is going for it.
Princess Valeria acted before anyone had any time to stop her. With the remaining power in her, she aimed at the top and she shot the fireball with all her power.
The fire increased as it traveled and soon the top of the mountain opened. A loud voice could be heard and the rocks scattered all over. The entrance was opened.
Princess Valeria that had exhausted herself sat down on the ground. She had no powers lef6t but she gathered the strength to look up. Although she was on the verge of a blackout, she managed to keep her eyes open.
But what she saw were not the crystals but only rocks. Princess Valeria wanted to shout. She was getting desperate as her mind was getting clouded.
"Why is it like this?" Princess Valeria said in confusion. You told me that it would work." Princess Valeria turned around but she could only see the secretary’s smiling face. It was as if this was exactly the thing that he had expected.
Princess Valeria did not understand. She looked up again but she could not understand. It was then that Valeria remembered that the secretary told her that they needed to wake Elvira up.
"Did the witch wake up?" Princess Valeria murmured but she was not sure. No one responded to her question as everyone’s eyes were focused at the top. Princess Valeria moved her gaze back but what she saw was something she had never imagined.
A sleeping lady emerged from the ground as if she was levitating, but that was not all. She was resting on a block of rocks that looked like her sleeping bed.
The bed of rocks suddenly collapsed as a huge pile scattered around. A strong wave of power flashed through them. Everyone closed their eyes but when they opened it, they could see the lady levitating.
Princess Cassandra could not understand. Didn’t they say that the earth element will be there? Why didn’t she feel anything then?
Princess Cassandra was wondering when she could feel it but then a wave of earthquake hit them. Princess Cassandra was about to fall but Duke Salvador’s strong arms protected her.
But everyone else was not that lucky. The mountain was on the verge of collapse but Princess Valeria’s eyes were on the lady in the sky.
Princess Cassandra could feel something. Her eyes sharpened when she touched her hand on the ground and a wave of energy flowed through her body. Princess Cassandra could feel the element. And soon her crystals started filling.
Cassandra could not contain the power. It was too much. Her eyes widened, but it felt like she was exploding. "UHH ..." A scream left her mouth as she pushed Duke Salvador away.
But before she could do anything, Prince Carl came in through teleportation as he pushed his sister onto the fifth Princess’s body.
Cassandra did not understand what was happening but as soon as Princess Teimei’s skin touched her, her body reacted. Her hands held onto her wrist and soon Princess Teimei was feeling dizzy.
"Brother?" Princess Teimei extended her hand toward Prince Carl but he did not help her. His eyes were focused on the fifth Princess.
Princess Cassandra’s body started absorbing the powers. It was as if she needed to have it to survive and her body knew it. Cassandra’s eyes widened but before she could react her body pushed everything out.
Princess Teimei did not know anything as she tried to maintain her balance.
Her eyes widened as she looked up and found that the fifth Princess was moving upwards in the sky.
Duke Salvador moved in desperation as he held onto the fifth Princess, but something was pulling her up. Aiden could feel the power exerting.
"Leave her, Aiden." Achard Bentham shouted as he walked towards Duke Salvador. "This is the only thing that could help her."
Aiden’s red eyes were shivering. His hold on Princess Cassandra tightened. He did not want to let her go.
Princess Cassandra’s body was moving upwards. She did not understand anything. Her mind was not in proper condition, it was all clouded.
"Aiden, trust me. I had absorbed Teimei’s darkness." Achard told softly into Duke Salvador’s ears. "She has a special power, she can control the crystal’s power. Trust me, will you."
Duke Salvador’s eyes shivered. He looked at the fifth Princess before looking at Princess Teimei who was hitting on Prince Carl’s arm crying and asking him why he did it.
It was then that Duke Salvador remembered that Princess Teimei had used her power to suppress the crystal’s power.
Aiden could not help but close his heart. He swallowed as he let go of Princess Cassandra’s hand. The fifth Princess moved up as her body shivered.
"Butterfly." Duke Salvador murmured as his gaze refused to look anywhere else.
Seeing the way the Duke was behaving, Blazh and Achard sighed. They moved towards the man as they stood beside him. Everyone’s gaze was fixed at the fifth Princess.
Amy’s hands formed a fist as she controlled her rapidly beating heart. She wanted to protect the fifth Princess and yet she felt it was useful.
Princess Cassandra’s power absorption did not stop. Her gaze was filled with a play of shadow and light. All the colors of the crystals revolved around her eyes. Princess Cassandra smiled as her hands widened and all the elements started expanding themself.
Everyone standing there could feel their powers being absorbed. They could feel that their body was shivering with the loss of energy. The power was all absorbed by the fifth Princess.
Princess Cassandra absorbed all of her crystal filled with the five elements. Earth, water, wind, fire, and darkness. But Cassandra could not control it. Even after the powers filled the crystals, they started filling the space.
Princess Cassandra was feeling suffocated. Her breathing increased and before she knew it, the power had exceeded a huge amount. Princess Cassandra wanted to reject it. Her body was trying to push the elements away but the crystals were attracting it within.
Princess Cassandra’s eyes were filled with water but the control was lost. She was in no position to make any decision. She felt powerless. Powerless that she had never felt before even in the Elvira Empire.
"AHHHH !!!." Princess Cassandra screamed at the top of her voice as she exploded. Only a light could be seen as a wave of energy rushed out.
Before anyone could react, They saw Princess Cassandra’s body fall down from a height.
"Princess.." 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
