Broken Awakening: All My Weapons Are Legendary-Chapter 43: Drah Slayer
Diana watched as suddenly, the world around her went absolutely silent.
Not just the sound of others, but even her own breathing seemed to have disappeared.
It wasn’t just her who was surprised by this, but also the Drah.
Has its blood magic stopped?
The only one that wasn’t surprised by this fact, was Levian.
Instead, he had withdrawn his weapon and began to sprint towards the approaching beast.
No! She tried to scream whilst she stretched her hand outstretched, but the words couldn’t reach him.
Noticing that its magic wasn’t working, the Drah drew back its mighty arm and swung its claws forward towards Levian.
If they managed to crash into him, he would be dead, or at least close to it.
However, Levian seemed to be expecting it.
Just before the Drah’s claws collided with him, he drew Nyx once again and activated his personal skill.
Sovereign Draw!
Summon a weapon from your soulspace and attack instantly. This strike has 5x increased speed, and if it lands, it instantly brings the opponent down to 10% of their life force. If the original strike would reduce their life force below that threshold, the target is killed instead.
At the moment Nyx was drawn, Levian slashed vertically, aimed towards the approaching arm.
SHRKK!
Flames roared, and blood sprayed.
The Drah’s angular eyes went wide, as it looked down at its arm, to find that it was no longer there, but instead flying off in the distance.
It let out a silent roar of agony, but before it could react, or fall, Levian closed the distance, getting close to its chest.
He had made sure that the beast was slain.
With a leap, he slashed his blade upwards, cleaving into the Drah’s chest and creating a gash all the way to its chin.
The wounds opened, drenching Levian in warm, sticky blood.
He felt his blood charge reaching 50%, halfway satisfied.
And at the same done.

[Platinum Dungeon "Crimson Tower" Completed!]
The Drah’s giant body fell to the side with a thud, and Levian withdrew Nyx, allowing sound to return to normal.
A chest appeared behind him, but he hardly cared. He was too busy focusing on processing what had just happened.
A Drah... did I really just kill a Drah?
After seeing what it took for the army of elves on the Ashen Crossing to fight against the Drah, it seemed unbelievable that he was able to take one down alone.
Of course, not all Drah’s were the same strength; however, the feat remained incredible nonetheless.
"You must be some sort of god..."
Levian turned to find Diana staring at him with a mixture of disbelief and admiration in her blue eyes.
She hadn’t needed to lift a muscle against the Drah, and yet it didn’t even manage to land a single scratch on her.
Levian chuckled and made his way over to his fiancée, patting a hand on her head of red hair.
However, the woman took hold of his hand and instead, leant forward and planted a quick kiss on his lips.
Both of their cheeks went red as she pulled away, but Diana didn’t regret her decision.
"A simple head pat isn’t going to be enough I’m afraid. You deserve at least that for saving my life." She said in a soft playful tone.
Levian struggled to find his words for a few moments, taken aback by the kiss.
"You did your part too... without your moral support, I might not have been able to fight."
The couple laughed, and the awkwardness soon faded away.
I have to admit... spending time in her company really is refreshing.
He still hardly knew the woman, despite the journey they had embarked on together, yet with every moment they shared, he found himself wanting it to last.
But there was so much to do, that he hardly had the time.
Afterwards, Diana’s head turned towards the chest. "Do you want to take a look at what’s inside?" She asked curiously.
Levian waved a hand dismissively. "It’s all yours. Consider it a gift." He then flashed her a wink.
Diana refuted for a few moments before finally conceding and checking what was inside the chest. It was a skill scroll, which she tucked into her red robe.
Afterwards, the two said goodbye to the Crimson Tower and headed back through the portal to receive the changes that would take place in their systems.

As Levian emerged from the portal, a cheer instantly escaped his lips.
I’ve done it. I’ve made it to high-gold.
His skills were also increasing at a rate he was proud of. He had crafted a well-rounded build, only lacking in defence and magic.
That was because he hardly used personal skills, and only focused on his weapon skills. His defence was low because it was simply something he had always lacked.
Diana landed beside him, though she was much more out of breath. A sign that she had had her breakthrough to low gold.
A smile spread across Levian’s face. He was proud of her fast progression.
Suddenly, the sounds of slow clapping came from ahead of them.
There they found the blindfolded Jyselle giving them a round of applause. An impressed expression on her face.
"Congratulations. I’m glad I didn’t have to come in there and save your asses."
To their surprise, the Archmage Supreme was not alone. The room was filled with a few students from Goldtree Academy engaging in light weapons sparing.
However, their eyes were all focused on Levian and Diana.
"Ah, sorry about that," Jyselle spoke. "I couldn’t stop their lesson for a mere dungeon portal. I’m sure you understand."
Levian and Diana both nodded their heads in understanding.
"Of course." Levian started. "I hope we didn’t—"
His words were suddenly cut off as he heard footsteps coming from behind him.
Levian turned to find Farys standing there. The tall, white-haired elf whom he had duelled days earlier.
Naturally, his body tensed up. The bronze-skinned Farys glared at him with aggression after all.
The room went tense. Everyone knew about their duel and expected a fight.
However, when Farys spoke, they realised that would not be the case.
"I heard that you have been made commander of a squadron and led your men to safety despite being outnumbered?" Farys spoke bluntly.
Levian, taken aback by the approach, nodded his head.
Then, Farys put his fist to his chest in respect.
"Good." He said, before turning and heading back to his training partners. "We elves need more heart if we want to beat the humans."
Sounds of shock spread through the onlookers. It was rare that Farys ever showed respect for anybody, let alone a man he had fought only days before.
However, Levian was focused on something else.
Farys has uttered the words "we elves". He had acknowledged Levian’s true identity.
The fact pleased him, yet he tried to keep the smile from his face.
People are starting to acknowledge my strength, but my journey has only just begun.
It’s time for me to break through to platinum.
