Bought For A Baby, Kept For A Lifetime-Chapter 139: Please Stay
It had become an unshakeable fact now, he would never, ever be able to get over the feeling of her lips, everytime their mouths touched, he’d feel a strong spark of electricity in his body, and it always felt like the first time.
Her sweet taste always felt new and even sweeter everytime he kissed her, her mouth seemed to hide treasures of bliss and magnificent delights.
This time it wasn’t the small contact of mouth against mouth like she did earlier. She let her mouth taste his, though inexperienced and a little experimentally, she let her tongue peek out slightly to lick his soft lip before pulling it back, a subtle uncertain movement that she didn’t realize was teasing, it caused his body to grow hotter, his lower body hardening in an instant.
Her actions were soft and slightly awkward yet dense with a quiet heat of lust, unlike his aggressive possession of her mouth whenever he kissed her, she was like a beautiful little butterfly exploring the nectars of a delectable flower as she tasted his mouth, In a slow inexplicably sensual movement, her lips drew his to follow hers in a rhythmic dance.
She tilted her head to the left, slowly letting her tongue meet his and the flames almost exploded within him, it took a strong surge of willpower for him to hold himself back from flipping her over and teaching her mouth how to move with his own, teaching her body how to respond to his own, exploring desire in different depths of these mind blowing sensations she elicited in him.
He let her do as she pleased, grounding himself in control even if his hunger for her was escalating every second that he could barely continue to hold back, her every move was torture and he found himself having to conjure up an even more astounding amount of self control, while internally pacifying his lower body from it’s aggressive hardness.
How hadn’t he ever known pleasure like this could exist from a single kiss, he always found himself wondering whenever he kissed her. How hadn’t he ever known that his body could burn up with a torturous heat of desire that he could hardly control himself.
He could feel her soft warm hands trailing up his chest, even through the thick fabric of his shirt her every touch was like a match stick igniting the hot fire within, coupled with her soft mouth playing games with his, her tongue teasing and pulling back, giving him tingles and heat, when her hands began to trail down his chest down to his abs to his lower belly, the last strand of control snapped and he found himself flipping her over on the couch.
He heard the soft gasp that escaped her lips as he did that, her eyes widening, staring up at him in astonishment.
"You really...want to go back to your room?" He couldn’t believe how much more huskier his voice came out, low and thick with heated fire.
He didn’t even fully digest the fact that he was asking her the same question again when she’d made it clear a while ago that she wanted to leave.
Was he asking because he was feeling reluctant to let her go?
He’d gone into this marriage strictly accepting it was a contract and he would eventually release her from it, that was why he’d had that other room set up for her.
At that time he never once thought that on the very first night of their contract marriage he would be hit with the powerful desire to keep her with him, to have her spend the night in his room.
If he’d known that, he wouldn’t have gone through the trouble of having separate rooms, and here he was with her beneath him, so close he could almost taste her lips again, so close her sweet breath fanned against his face, so close he wanted to bury his arms around her waist and hold her really really tightly but he didn’t want to force her to stay.
Reluctantly his eyes danced over her face, every feature until he forcefully yanked himself back and sat far away from her.
There was visible bulge in his pants he wanted to keep down, and his heart was thundering in his chest that he could feel blood racing through his veins.
Closing his eyes tightly he kept his face to a side she couldn’t see, clenching his jaw as he worked to ease the heat in his body.
"You can go now." He let out the words against his own will.
He thought this marriage would go casually without any forms of attachments, so how was it that on the very first night he was already hungry for her, but not only that, there was this aching desire to just keep her near.
Even if he wouldn’t touch her, even if he wouldn’t talk to her, just having her next to him seemed enough to satiate this unnameable longing building up inside his chest.
His mind and body were becoming a chaos he couldn’t fathom. He knew he shouldn’t let himself want her this desperately, it wasn’t like him to grow weak like this but he couldn’t help it, he couldn’t force himself to keep this ache tampered when he would only be soothed whenever she was near.
After saying she could leave, he felt her linger for a while. As if she had something to say to him.
She really needed to go right now, she needed to leave before the thin line of self control would snap and he would forcefully make her stay.
Something feral threatened to burst through and the more he continued to breathe in her presence, the more he continued to hear her breathe, the more he continued to be aware of her nearby, the more that raw primal desire escalated.
’Stay.’
’Please stay.’
He’d never once pleaded for anything in his life but he wanted to plead in this very moment, it was how unbearable that tightening ache of longing was burning for her inside.
Just as he parted his lips to say something, she suddenly moved and he saw her hastily rush to the door and she was gone in a matter of seconds, the words he’d been about to say remained stuck in his throat.
The only sounds he could hear after that were light ticking of the clock, the air in the room slowly began to clear away her scent and he hated the fact that he would take another breath and it wouldn’t be her smell in the air.
Somehow he suddenly felt as if he were drowning...
Drowning in the silence and a sudden hollowness that engulfed him as if something absolutely vital to him was missing.
A strange unfamiliar air of melancholy seeped into him, a sense of loss of something that made despair tighten around his chest.
Clenching his fist tightly he threw his head back, let out a long shuddering breath and closed his eyes, the feeling of drowning pulling him in more and even more.
.....
Anne literally ran to her room, shut the door behind her and leaned against it.
What had she just done?
’Kiss me.’
Her heart had suddenly leaped but she’d done as instructed, she didn’t know what came over her that made her kiss him like that. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
Her hands were shaking, it felt like she was holding back a storm of emotions.
But the craziest thing was that she’d actually almost felt for a single moment that he wanted her to stay, and even crazier she’d wanted to stay.
She had to remind herself that there was nothing else between them, and this marriage had an expiry date and when that time comes, Andrew Sterling would go back to being the same unreachable, detached man he used to be.
.....
Jasmine thought back to the days she and Anne used to talk about their future, but it was strange how destiny sometimes never goes the way we plan.
She knew, because destiny had played many tricks on her in her life, but this particular trick was one she had never expected.
A few hours ago she had been at the manor to attend Anne’s wedding, but the person she met there on her way out was someone she never thought she would see again.
That striking face that was etched in the part of a memory she never wanted to revisit again.
He had changed from the last time she saw him, he was much more handsome than she remembered.
His thick dark hair was now neatly styled, swept backwards when it used to fall over his face before. His facial features were sharper now, conveying both attractiveness and seriousness.
Jasmine had been about to leave the manor because there was something important waiting for her at home that she could no longer run away from, but she didn’t expect to see a silver Porsche suddenly block way, nor did she expect the person to step out of the car to be him.
Shawn Reynolds, the man she swore to run away from no matter what.
Jasmine had been so frightened that she ran off the moment she saw him, that was because his presence brought back distant memories.
In Jasmine’s memories there was a younger girl with her exact features, only her hair was a beautiful strawberry blonde color.
That young girl stood at the altar in a church dressed in a wedding gown, her hands tied up together with a pink ribbon, bound like a pretty little prisoner wrapped as a gift with a pretty ribbon.
Her face showed pain and reluctance, the desire to run away from an imminently torturous life but helplessness kept her still. Waiting at an altar bound like a bride packaged and ready to be sold.
The man standing with her at the altar couldn’t be clearly seen, but there was an older woman next to her. The woman’s features similar enough to the young Jasmine for anyone to be able to tell she was her mother.
Her mother looked at at the younger Jasmine with a strict face.
"I told you you’d marry him, even if I had to tie you down and drag you down the church."
