Chapter 256: Chapter 256: Forgiveness

Her voice turned sharp like a blade.

"You didn’t seem to care about that when you were forcing girls to do the same things. How does it feel now? When the roles are reversed?"

Her words sliced through the room. All three boys froze. Their stomachs twisted with guilt and a strange, bitter shame.

For the first time... they felt what their victims might have felt back then.

"We didn’t..." Mason started to say something, but his voice faded. He knew there was no excuse.

Caleb’s lips trembled. Darren felt like the walls were closing in.

"I’ll give you 10 minutes," Aurora said coolly. "Either do what I say... or I’ll post every single crime your parents committed. I’ll even send the proof to their business partners and the media. Do you want that?"

The three boys stared at each other, their faces pale like ghosts.

"And just so you know..." Aurora continued, "If you try to wait it out or waste time... I’ll post your parent’s evil deeds online."

The countdown started.

10 minutes.

The clock on Darren’s wall ticked louder and louder in their ears.

Darren swallowed hard. Caleb sat down, covering his face with his hands. Mason stared at the floor, breathing heavily.

"I’ll make it easy for you," Aurora’s voice came again, calm and wicked. "If no one makes a move in the next two minutes... I’ll start sending the files. One by one."

The boys could barely breathe now. Panic. Guilt. Disgust. Regret.

Caleb sat on the edge of the bed, his face pale but serious. His hands were shaking, but his voice came out steady and cold.

"We... we should just do it," he said, gritting his teeth.

Darren and Mason whipped their heads toward him, staring at him like he had lost his mind.

"W-What?!" Mason gasped, his face full of horror. "Are you crazy?!"

Darren’s mouth dropped open. "Caleb, are you serious right now?!"

Caleb clenched his fists tightly. "Do you guys think we can really escape from this hacker? Look at what’s happening. Look at everything she’s done already."

Mason and Darren fell silent. As much as they hated it... Caleb was right.

The truth hit them like a punch in the gut.

Even if they somehow caught the hacker... even if they hired cyber police or professional help... what then? Their black secrets... their worst crimes... everything would still be posted online. Once those videos and files were out, their lives... and their families’ lives... would be destroyed.

And if they didn’t do what the hacker wanted now... she’d release even more.

It was a lose-lose situation.

Either way... they were going to suffer.

Darren felt his stomach churn. Mason ran a hand through his messy hair, looking like he wanted to punch the wall.

But... they had no choice.

With their hearts sinking deeper than ever, the three boys did as Aurora had ordered.

.............................

On the other side of the screen, Aurora sat with her laptop open, her eyes fixed on the feed.

"I’m going to make sure you guys really finish this task," she said with an amused smirk, cracking her knuckles.

But suddenly... something strange happened.

Her screen turned blurry. The video went fuzzy like an old broken TV.

"What the heck...?" Aurora blinked, staring at her laptop in confusion.

Then, a message popped up on her screen in bright, glowing letters:

"You don’t need to watch this. Don’t worry... they’ll finish the job. But you’re not allowed to see."

Aurora’s eyes twitched. For a second, she just stared at the message, stunned.

"Who...?" she muttered.

Someone had hacked... her?

Her!

She quickly tried to hack back, typing furiously and running her codes. But no matter what she did, the screen stayed blocked. Some unknown force was keeping her out.

Aurora frowned, crossing her arms. "Are they trying to help those three idiots?" she muttered to herself.

But after watching the code and the system for a few minutes... she realized something.

Whoever had blocked her... wasn’t trying to protect the boys from her punishment. They just didn’t want her to see anything "18+" or inappropriate.

Aurora’s lips twitched, and she let out a helpless laugh. "What kind of... moral hacker is this?"

For a brief second, she was speechless.

Then she sighed and leaned back in her chair.

"Fine. I’ll trust you... mystery person."

......................................

Twenty minutes later...

The screen finally became clear again.

Aurora’s eyes widened as she saw the scene in front of her.

Darren, Mason, and Caleb were lying on the bed, huddled under a single blanket, their faces pale and exhausted.

Their hair was messy. Their clothes were gone. Faint bruises and scratch marks were all over their bodies. Some had purple-blue spots from where they had clearly fought with each other.

And their faces... their faces were full of pain, shame, and complete mental defeat.

It was clear... whatever happened during those twenty minutes... it hadn’t been soft, gentle, or anything remotely pleasant.

Aurora let out a long, low whistle and chuckled darkly.

"Wow... you guys really went all out, huh?" she teased with a sly grin.

The boys flinched at her voice.

Before they could say anything, Aurora’s voice turned cold again.

"Oh... and by the way... the entire session was recorded," she said sweetly.

The three boys froze like statues.

Their eyes widened in pure horror.

Aurora continued, her smile widening. "If any of you even think about disobeying me... or resisting me... or reporting me again... I’ll make sure that video goes viral. School forums, university forums, social media... you name it."

Darren felt like throwing up.

Caleb’s hands shook.

Mason covered his face with the blanket, wishing he could disappear.

They had blackmailed people before... but this... this was a whole new level of suffering.

Suddenly, Darren’s voice broke the silence. His throat was dry, but he forced the words out.

"If... If we apologize... to everyone we hurt... and ask for forgiveness..." he said slowly, trembling, "Will you... let us go?"

Aurora raised an eyebrow. For a second, she was surprised.
