Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates-Chapter 241: Flying Sh*t Munchers
Jimmy kept the process going. He tip-toed between the bundle of Compy, and ape clones as if he was an amateur ballerina, one that for some reason had a large syringe on their hands.
He was a bit frantic about the process, but it was only because he discovered a significant advantage that reduced the time it would take to get all forty-five clones nice and ready to fight the first wave of enemies!
What used to take eight or so hours to just get ten clones ready for battle, now took a bit over an hour to get all forty-five of them ready! This was the beauty of it, as he didn’t have to wait for a clone to grow in size before he moved on to the next one.
By the time he was done impaling each clone, he’d get right back to the first clone in line, and simply wait for a few minutes before he started the next wave of growth-spurts!
Just like that, he got all the clones to grow at their maximum size, by three scales, with around seven hours to spare! He even got all of them to fly, and the clones realized that they could fly when they suddenly levitated while they were asleep.
Even while in a deep sleep, any creature would eventually notice that something had changed when their bodies were several feet above the ground! Each clone eventually woke up, and the ruckus they caused as they frantically floated across the sky, even woke up the dinosaur pets that weren’t clones at all.
Gutaxun, and some of the other pets came to investigate, and even they knew that something was different. Land animals weren’t supposed to fly, so the pets were surely spooked, but since the clones weren’t harming anyone, the situation did not escalate.
It took the clones a while to calm down after they started flying, but the main ’rules’ that were nailed in their head when they first stepped into the world, eventually poured over their panic, and helped them calm down.
They slowly figured out how to use their size, and their ability to fly to their advantage.
"Looks like you’re ready," Anna walked over, "What’s your plan?"
As Jimmy was about to answer, he noticed that all the people in front of him were watching the flying dinosaurs in awe. He could guess how unusual this sight was to them, and he could only smile in response.
These thirty or so people were the only ones who were bothered enough to care about their tribe, and their longevity, so he was hoping they were satisfied. He was hoping that he gave them an inkling of hope.
"The plan is simple," He answered, "We’ll fight back soon, maybe an hour from now? I don’t know how far the enemy is exactly, but the flying clones are fast, so they’ll get to the enemy pretty quickly."
"Sounds good," She nodded, "I’m sure those bastards are tired from all the walking they did, so they gotta be camping somewhere. We can ambush them."
"The clones will ambush them, yes," He nodded, "If the enemy is camping, the clones should be able to wipe out a couple hundred of them before those hairy jackasses start fighting back."
"And when should we attack... us gunmen, I mean?" She asked.
"Much later," He said, "We’re going to depend on the clones, and far ranged attacks before we step in with the guns. Much safer that way."
Anna did not question his plan. She knew that he has had a hard day, for one thing, but she has also learned to trust his instincts, and understood that Jimmy was simply trying to keep everyone safe.
There were a lot of trigger-happy cavemen within the fifteen volunteers, but he did not want them to fight at night unless they absolutely had to. Even with plasma guns at their disposal, everything could go wrong within seconds, and he was trying to prevent that, by simply sending the gunmen out when the enemy was tired, demotivated, and horrified.
The gunmen were to step in to finish the job, which would be equivalent to beating a wounded deer with a shovel, but that’s how he wanted it to be. He wanted to have a significant advantage over the enemy before the gunmen stepped in, not after.
For that matter, he turned to the volunteers, and said, "Go rest, for now, or eat, but stick close to the entrance of our home. Everyone with a gun should be ready to move the minute that I ask you to. We can’t waste time."
"Other than that, you can tell your loved ones that we’ll be safe. We don’t have to flee, we won’t get killed, and we’ll live on to tell the tales to our grandchildren." He added, hoping to get through to them with his little speech, even though he was not one for speeches. "Our tribe shall live on!"
A small cheer broke out within the crowd. They were happy, but most of them had been up since morning, so they were tired. With the assurance that Jimmy gave them, they began to relax, and therefore were close to crashing down. The energy they got from the utter fear of being potentially wiped out, disappeared, and stopped keeping them on their feet.
The group walked back to their home cavern, and prepared themselves with either a short nap, or by stuffing food in their faces.
The only people that stuck around were Jimmy’s immediate family, girlfriends, and Zik.
Unlike everyone else, Zik was far too frantic to sit back and rest, regardless of how tired he was from everything he did today. He was a trigger-happy cave bear before he even knew what triggers were.
"The tip of the mountain can kiss my ass," He said, "I’m not scared of it, so I can lead your flying shit munchers to battle if you want to. If you’re scared about me getting caught, I can promise you that I’d be far gone before they even see what hit them!"
