Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates-Chapter 240: Twenty-foot tall, flying Compy
As Anna continued teaching the volunteers how to use the plasma guns, Jimmy minded his own business, mostly, and continued to alter the clones, one Compy at a time.
The process was lengthy, because although the syringe was gravely useful, it wasn’t exactly known for its speed.
Bumping a Compy one scale up from its original size took nine whole minutes.
The second scale took sixteen minutes on its own.
Last but not least, the third scale took twenty-five minutes on its own!
All together, it would take fifty whole minutes just to jack up a clone at maximum size, and although the results were great, the process was simply too long.
"Looks like I’d only be able to jack up ten clones at most, huh?" He held his head, frustrated. "That’s not enough... throws our entire damn plan into a pile of shit!"
No one heard him ramble through complaints, as they were focused on the guns. This might be a good thing too, because he didn’t want to demotivate the volunteers in any way.
Jimmy needed all forty-five clones to be jacked up in size, ready to fight, in time, most importantly, but he also knew how important the contribution of the volunteers were. He expected them to wipe out half of the incoming wave themselves.
For that matter, he bit the bullet and tried to calm down. He observed the flying Compy that he had jacked up in size by three scales, and as he tried to figure out how to modify his plan, he took comfort in the fact that he had created an absolute monster!
His lovely experiment was twenty feet, or six whole meters tall! Bigger than Gutaxun, no doubt, and he definitely weighed a lot more than Gutaxun, an estimated three tons!
Apex Predators of this size weren’t common, at least not across the grasslands, so he knew that each clone he would send out to battle, would be a great pain in the ass to the enemy. In synchronization with their height, each Compy clone would be able to slaughter at least twenty men and women alike!
With that said, the forty Compy clones alone would be able to take out most of the enemies, if simple math was considered, but in the off-chance that the enemy developed a comprehensive strategy, the plasma guns and other defenses would come in and finish the job.
The problem was that he didn’t have enough time to prepare all forty Compy clones, not to mention the five alien apes. At the current rate of ’accelerated’ growth, he could send ten clones to battle at most, before sunrise, so he was quite frustrated.
"At least it only takes a few seconds to make them fly," He sighed.
Jimmy did not find a solution, but he moved on to the second clone nonetheless. He couldn’t waste too much time staring at the considerably happy, flying monstrosity that he created. He had to be productive.
He stabbed the needle of the syringe into the second clone. This little guy was sleeping, just like most other Compies. They were in deep sleep, despite the occasional whistling hisses of the plasma guns, and he saw this as a great advantage, because he didn’t want to waste his time chasing spooked clones around.
Anyway, he then pressed the second button on the control panel, and didn’t bother stepping back, as he knew the accelerated growth process was slow.
As he looked at the syringe, he pondered, "Hmm... what if?"
He then pulled the syringe out of the Compy clone, only moments after he had put it in. He fully expected the clone to explode or something of that equivalent, so he took several steps back, and nearly impaled himself with the syringe in the process, but he was fine.
The clone was fine too. It was still asleep, snug and tight on the surface of the rocky mountainside.
"I’m wasting time here..." He sighed.
Jimmy wanted to stab the syringe right back into the clone, but then again, he was hopeful, so he decided to waste another three minutes, just to test out if his wishful theory had any truth to it.
It took three minutes for the accelerated growth process to kick in, if the clone was going through the first scaling, so he waited. He held his breath in as if he was a scuba diver without gear.
At the three minute mark, he noticed a tiny change, the kind that he was looking for. The clone was growing, even though the syringe was nowhere close to its body!
"Hell yeah!" He celebrated, "Now we’re talking!"
Without wasting another second, he then stabbed the third clone of the bunch, and then pressed button number two on the control panel.
After giving the effects of the syringe a few seconds to set in, he pulled it out, and moved on to the fourth clone, and so on.
The discovery he made here made the difference between sending all of the clones to war, in time, or just sending ten of them. He discovered a massive shortcut in the accelerated growth process, and he fully intended to abuse it!
"Hope they don’t shrink back after a while..." He spoke to himself, "That’s just a risk I have to take."
Impaling all forty five clones with the syringe, alien apes included, only took him a few minutes. The process was shortened significantly, because he didn’t have to wait for each clone to grow before he’d move on to the next one. He was quick on his feet, and he even got back to the second clone he impaled one minute after the first ’dosage’ of the accelerated growth process had set in.
"Nice..." He smiled, "Okay... work with me here now."
Once the process was over, he impaled the second clone on the line again, pressed button number two, and pulled the syringe out after a few seconds. He believed that he had plenty of time on his hands now, so he waited a few minutes, anxiously eager to see if the growth process would successfully initiate for the second time!
