Blade of the Goddess-Chapter 189
Chapter 189: Chapter 189
Zion watched as a deadly battle occurred behind a holographic screen. Duke Parth was fighting against Duke Ellan and Sir Raidon, and their battle was nothing less than catastrophic.
"A battle between three Transcendants, huh? Pretty interesting."
"Who do you think will win?" Lidia walked into the room, her hair tied in a ponytail, wearing one of Zion’s T-shirts with dolphin shorts. She plopped right on his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck, nuzzling her face on his chest.
"While the simple is Ellan and Raidon, Parth is surprisingly holding his own against two True Transcendants while only being a Proficient one. He definitely got his money’s worth with that armor he’s wearing."
"Anti-Magic armor?"
"Yeah. Mythral. Weaker than Zionite, though."
She chuckled, looking at the screen, watching as the battle progressed. "I can’t believe you have an ore named after you."
"Well, that usually happens when someone discovers something that was never heard of or seen before, like Hawking Radiation."
"Hawking Radiation?"
Zion shook his head. "Don’t worry about it. You wouldn’t understand even if I told you."
"Try me." She giggled.
"Okay. I come from another world where a scientist named Stephen Hawking uncovered a new form of Radiation, and it was named after him. That world ended up being destroyed by monsters, and I reincarnated into this world when I died."
"Okay, so you’re just full of shit."
"Hahaha, indeed I am."
Lidia pointed to the screen. "Who’s that?"
"That girl? She’s Epora, the new Knight’s Order Master. She’s currently fighting against Master Julius."
"Ahh, so she replaced my aunt."
As they continued to watch the battle taking place, Zion got up from his seat and headed toward the door to leave.
"Where are you going?" Lidia wondered as she was carried by her beloved
"The battle is going to be over soon, and Amber will show her might once this battle is complete. So, it’s time to prepare for Crystal’s grand coronation as queen."
---
"Can’t beat me alone, so you decided to team up, huh?" Punching the air, a gust of wind blasted toward Ellan, who quickly put a shield around himself, and it was shattered instantly by the wind pressure.
Parth blasted toward the staggered Ellan, his sword beaming with destructive forces, but was stopped by a magical chin that wrapped around his sword.
"Raidon!" He shouted in anger, pulling the chains that dragged Raidon toward him.
"It’s wise to pay attention when fighting multiple opponents!" An intense wave of gravity dragged Parth to the ground, and Ellan bound his hands and feet to restrict his movement.
Raidon channeled lightning into his hands, forming it into a massive bolt and chucked it downward, watching it explode, electrically charging the air around it. Finally, to make sure he killed Parth, he rained down another 200 lightning bolts and ended it off with a massive lightning strike that rippled through the clouds, striking the ground with devastating force.
"Thing we got him?" Raidon asked with a smile.
"Maybe. Not anyone could survive something like that."
Just as the dust settled, a beam of mana fired from Parth’s sword as a thrust attack pierced the side of Ellan before he could react.
"Shit!" Raidon raised his hands for a spell, but Parth was already behind him, his sword right at Raidon’s throat, but as if fate never wanted him to succeed, his arm was sliced off by something too fast for him to react to.
"Arghhhhh!!! Fuckkkkkkk!" He cried in pain.
"Well, look what we have here. My competitors, all in one spot. This makes things a lot easier."
The three of them turned to the man who had interrupted their battle and froze. It was Yole Slyff, Amber’s Grandfather.
"W-What are you doing here?" Ellan asked, gulping down hard.
"What? I can’t join you all in this amazing battle? Look, I have Parth’s arm. Surely that gives me the qualifications to do so." He teased
"You know what I mean!" Ellan growled
Raidon spoke telepathically into Ellan’s head. ’The cannon, we’ll use the cannon against this guy.’
"Don’t even try it." A spear appeared in Yole’s hand, and he swiped at the air, but nothing happened.
"What did he-"

The cannon blew up, killing all of the mages in the vicinity.
"Dammit! Do you think you’ll get away with this?! We may be enemies, but not even you can take on the three of us!" Ellan hoped Parth would at least take their side in this fight, which he did, since they all knew how powerful Yole was.
Yole was one of the first people in modern times to reach the Transcendent stage and was at the peak of it for two decades now. Everyone who knew his power assumed he would break through to the Mystic stage any time soon. This was backed up by his strength being so high that even other transendeants seemed like jokes to him.
Yole couldn’t contain his laughter, bellowing so hard that everyone didn’t dare move to incase they pissed him off. "Oh my, that’s so cute. You three thinking you’ll be able to stop me, yeah, just go ahead and die right now."
Parth didn’t even know when his chest was split open. The pain didn’t even register. All he remembered before falling to the ground was a wicked grin on Yole’s face.
"Shit! Bind him!" Ellan used gravity magic to stop Yole from moving, and Raidon bonded him with chains.
Hundreds of magic circles spawned around the trapped Yole and simultaneously blew up in his face with an explosion so bright it lit up the sky.
Not taking any chances, Ellan had already begun to cast his next spell, condensing all of his magical knowledge into a sphere in his hands, but once he was ready to fire it, Yole was already in his face, his spear in his stomach and was Raidon falling to the ground with his head completely gone.
"D-Dammit!"
With them now killed, Yole descended to the ground and completely wiped out the remaining soldiers of both Ruby and Lapis’s factions, leaving only the two remaining.
"Don’t worry, your sister told me to keep you alive. Of course, I can’t go against my beloved granddaughter’s words, so you two are fine for now. But make no mistake, if you try anything, you’re dead."
