Blade of the Goddess-Chapter 166
Chapter 166: Chapter 166
For the two weeks, Zion took time for himself to meditate and cultivate. There were some things he wanted to get done before he moved on to the next step of his journey, and that was preparing the path to the mystic stage.
First, within three days, Zion broke through to the Supreme Stage. With the amount of energy that raged on in his body, combined with him cultivating in a mana-rich spot, breaking through was relatively easy.
The power increase wasn’t small either. Currently, as it stood, if Zion were to go all out, he would be able to survive an encounter with a Transcendant Martial Artist or Mage. Would he win? If he managed to throw them off, maybe.
However, if he fought against a Transcendant like his mother, who had his mana method, he would get absolutely bodied. This isn’t including his divine relics, which could absolutely one-shot a Transendant cultivator, a normal one at least.
Zion, however, was under the mindset of not using those relics in case he absolutely had to, just like when he fought against that one girl who could use infernal energy. But even then, the relic was designed to destroy demonic energy, not infernal energy.
For the remaining eleven days, Zion spent every waking hour trying to figure out a way to undergo bone reconstruction. He remembered the sensation he felt when he underwent body cleansing, and he applied that feeling to his bones instead.
Did it work? Yes, too well in fact. What did it cost? His mental health. Once he figured it out, Zion spent an entire day in pain, feeling every single bone in his body break and turn to dust, only for it to be reformed stronger than ever.
The worst part is that the process was bone by bone and not all in one go, for all 206 bones in his body. And once he thought it was all over, his teeth did the same thing.
He had cursed in his head, saying that teeth weren’t even bones. But his body just shut him up by snapping his spine, the last bone in his body that needed to be reconstructed.
He cried, yelled, and screamed as the pain was unbearable. The only plus side about this, besides getting stronger, was that his pain tolerance shot up drastically.
His mom, Valindra, Lidia, Alice, and others wanted to help, but he didn’t allow them to interfere with the process.
Once everything was over, Zion was significantly stronger than before and just as mentally drained. He dreaded the day when he would have to undergo Body Reconstruction.
He took a long nap and didn’t wake up until three days later.

[The Astir Kingdom.]
Crystal had gotten word that everything would be set in motion soon. It had been a while since she had seen Zion, a year in fact, and she did everything she was told. Trained, graduated from the academy, gained public favor, and stayed out of politics.
"Your Highness, he’s waiting for you." Zion had stayed by Crystal’s side throughout everything, even benefiting from Zion’s mana method.
As they currently stood, both Zia and Crystal were Master Stage mages, and they both recently broke through to the peak of it.
Crystal stretched her arms, basking in the morning sun that bathed her room in its warmth. She smiled, looking out the window, and took a deep breath.
"Everything will be starting soon." Crystal couldn’t wait for her ascent to the throne. She would be lying if she said otherwise. She doubled down on her studying and research so she could be a good Queen and future Empress. Having access to the Zion Sky Network was a godsend for her since she was able to read up on information that wasn’t present in the Royal Libraries or anywhere present in the world.
"I’m still a bit nervous," Zia admitted.
"You think too much, Zia. Sometimes, you need to have a little faith." Crystal got out of bed and got ready for her day.
"I just hope nothing goes wrong."
"If that happens, then I simply wasn’t destined to rule. We’re far better off with Zion’s aid than doing this ourselves. Not to mention the absolute power he has. I mean, come on, have you seen his assembly line? Absolutely stacked!"
Zia laughed and turned Crystal around, zipping up her dress. "You don’t even speak like a Royal anymore."
"Soon, I’ll be speaking like a Queen."

"I’m so fucking jealous!" Lidia yelled, punching a wall.
"Gahhh! It should have been me!" Gringer scoffed, kicking up the dirt.
"Young master, please do me next!" Lacey was just happy to see Zion back after an entire year.
"I-I’ll be waiting for my turn." Aurora was okay with waiting her turn and wasn’t in a rush for it to happen.
But what was happening? It was something no one expected to happen, and that was Zion having a child.
That’s right, Zion was now a dad. And who was the mother? It was none other than the emotionless Luna Lunite. She had gotten pregnant before he left and, at her mother’s request, decided to keep quiet about it until he returned.
She was a cute, baby girl with blue hair just like her mother. Luna decided to call her Stella.
"Who’s your daddy? I’m your daddy!" Zion played with his daughter for a long while, not knowing how he could have such love for a person the moment he laid eyes on them.
Even Luna’s normal emotionless face had a smile on it as she saw Zion play with their daughter.
After a while, Stella went to sleep, and Zion had to leave. Zaleena, over the moon after becoming a grandmother, jumped at the opportunity to watch Stella for the rest of the day, which Luna happily agreed to.
"I’m getting pregnant tonight, and no one is stopping me." Lidia made up her mind after seeing Zion interact with Stella and Luna. She would have that happiness, and nothing would stop her, not even Zion.
