Chapter 160: Chapter 160

"Why?" Zion groaned, clutching his balls. "Why?!"

"Stop being a big baby and get up."

"Luminera, you may not know this because you’re a FUCKING GODDESS, but getting kicked in the balls hurt! Men can die from that shit!" He yelled, still clutching his balls while seeing double.

"Meh, mortal problems. You’ll grow out of it once you collect all the Ancient Relics and reach your full potential as a Divine Apostle." She snapped her fingers, and Zion was back in his body, still clutching his balls. freeweɓnovēl.coɱ

Zion stood up uncomfortably and used a nearby wall for support. "What do you mean I’ll grow out of it? You mean as I get stronger, the pain will decrease? I already know that." Currently, as a Grandmaster State Cultivator, the pain Zion felt was less than that of someone in a lower stage, especially combined with his mana method.

"No, dummy. I mean, when you become a demigod."

Zion blinked. "Huh? Excuse me? Become a what?"

Luminera slid her finger up Zion’s chest and stopped at his chin. She lifted his head up, past her large boobs and fixed it on her eyes. "Yes, my dear champion. Once you reach your full potential and claim all the relics, you’ll become a demigod. How else do you think you’ll be able to fight against gods?"

He gulped, his mind racing with questions. "H-How do I reach my full potential?"

"Easy, reach the mystic stage. The Dragon Divine Apostle is a demigod because he reached the Mystic stage. They’re the only race to have a demigod divine apostle."

"And how strong is a demigod compared to a normal divine apostle? I’m assuming simply reaching the mystic stage isn’t the only condition to obtain demigod status."

Luminera smiled. "You’re correct. Even after reaching the mystic stage, you won’t magically become a demigod. And to answer your question, the difference between a Mystic Stage Divine Apostle and a Demigod is night and day. A demigod would eclipse them in power, and it’s not even close."

Zion gulped once more.

"And as for you," She continued. "You’d be a very powerful demigod because the power of a demigod scales with how strong you were as a mortal. Meaning if you were weak as fuck then became a demigod, you’d be stronger than the strongest mortal, but would be a weak demigod. But if you’re the strongest mortal, I’m sure you get my point."

"Woah, that’s a lot to take in. As exciting as that is, I’m not gonna focus on that right now. I’ll definitely make more of an effort to get stronger, though, I’m becoming too comfortable with my current strength."

"That is a good way to think. Anyway, I’ve bonded the relic to your soul and my power, just as the previous one, so go make this place mine." She smirked.

"Haha, you already know what I’m going to do?"

"You’re like an open book, sweetie. It’s cute that you think I don’t know what you’re planning." She leaned into Zion’s ear, whispering her next words. "I even know you plan on fucking me after becoming a demigod."

"N-No! Nuh-uhn!" He stammered

"Your raging boner is giving you away." She chuckled.

"Shit! You little bastard!"

"Is it working now? Hello? Zion, are you there?" Zaleena called using the communication channel in the implant she and all of Zion’s followers had.

"Mom? What’s up? Everything good?"

"Yeah, killed the demon. He was weak."

’No, you’re just a monster.’ He thought to himself.

"Awesome! I’ll be there soon."

"Okay. Oh, by the way, your sisters wanted me to tell you that they broke through to the Ascendant stage."

’FUCK! Now I should hold off seeing them for now. Getting bullied by two Ascendant sisters will be a nightmare.’

"I’ll have to congratulate them when I return home." He ended the call.

"Alright, let’s move out."

After returning to the ruined castle, one of Zion’s people informed him that Melina and Valindra wanted to talk with him.

He boarded the jet and listened to what they had to say.

He was truly happy that Valindra wanted to join him and that Melina was open to the idea of doing so, but he truly had to test their loyalty. If they didn’t agree, he wouldn’t hesitate to throw them away and disregard their feelings as he continued with his plans.

"If you join me, you’ll enter a world you would have never even dreamed of entering in your life. I’ll show you ways to gain power beyond your understanding and help you achieve the peak of mortality. I was gonna say humanity, but you guys aren’t humans, haha."

He then pulled out two neural implants.

"If you take this, you’ll join me and my cause. However, I’ll tell you what we do and why we’re called Heaven’s Bane. So buckle up."

The mother and daughter looked at each other, then nodded their heads, allowing Zion to tell them about his cause.

"My name is Zion Zagan, and I’m the Divine Apostle for the Goddess of Light, Luminera. Ever since my birth, I’ve been tasked with one mission, and that mission is to kill all the gods of this world."

Melina gasped, and Valindra covered her mouth in shock. The two couldn’t believe what they were hearing. Killing the gods? It was a suicide mission, and truthfully, Zion believed that as well, but he was willing to take the risk.

"One of the goals I need to accomplish during this mission is to obtain every Ancient Relic that can aid in my quest. And that’s the main reason why I’m here. While doing these missions, I’ve decided to give myself another mission, one that wasn’t tasked by me from Luminera, but something that would make my mission easier."

"A-And what is that mission?" Melina asked, her throat dry.

Zion took a deep breath before answering. "To take over every continent."

Once again, Melina and Valindra were both silent in shock.

"And I have people on every continent doing my bidding. The people you saw the other day, Valindra, were my people doing missions I gave them. I’m their master, their leader, and Luminera is their, our goddess."

"And your mother is in on this?" Melina asked

Zion couldn’t help but chuckle. "My mother is my biggest supporter."
