[BL]The Hero and his Party Won't Let Me Go-Chapter 225: Ch : Rin is not getting better

"Anything? That’s a great promise, Chairman. I wonder if you would be able to keep it."

Kaiden asked with a smile on his face, and the chairman’s eyes hardened. But he ultimately nodded, feeling a little happy that Kaiden had at least one weakness-his desire.

"I promise you-anything you desire."

Kaiden pretended to think over the situation, but in reality, he already had his answer. He had it ready since the first time he had walked into this office.

"I cannot offer you all of me, but I can offer you a partnership. I will be establishing a guild soon, so I would need you to look the other way when it comes time to ’rough-handle’ some things."

This was Kaiden’s way of warning the chairman not to get on his bad side and accidentally cause a mess. The chairman understood this and quickly nodded.

"I understand. I will make sure to inform everyone that they need to keep out of your way and not cause you trouble. Is there anything else-"

"No, that will be all for now. If there is anything else, then I will inform you about it."

Kaiden stood up, and both he and Caelis left the chairman’s office. They suddenly had a lot of work to do. And with their first step, the chairman was as good as theirs.

Caelis followed Kaiden, but he immediately frowned and decided to take a look back at the association he was leaving behind. Then he turned to look at Kaiden with a frown.

"Are you sure we do not need their help? The association people are no fools. They will realize that we are looking for Shuu quickly."

Caelis reminded his father, but Kaiden only nodded with a calm shrug.

"If that happens, then it happens. There is nothing we can do about it now. But to find Shuu and keep him safe, we will need private connections as well as power. This is another god’s world, so there is no telling what could happen here."

Even if Kaelis had everything under control, it would only take a few seconds for it all to come crashing down.

This time, he was not willing to take a risk with Shuu’s life.

"Well, we have a few hard-working days in front of us. So let’s go and set up our empire here. The sooner we do this, the quicker we will be able to find Shuu and bring him back."

Kaiden sounded excited, so Caelis decided to follow his lead and help him out.

’Rin’s fever is not getting better. He might be in danger at this rate. W-What should I do?’

Shuu panicked as he watched Rin let out a pained moan. The poor child had been unconscious for two days now, and he did not show any signs of waking up.

It was painful to look at Rin. All Shuu wanted him to do at this point was open his eyes and say something... anything to assure Shuu that he was fine.

But all he heard were pained moans from the child.

Luckily, Sasha had dropped by and taken a look at Rin. She had even tried to guide him, but had almost been knocked unconscious and decided that she would not be able to handle this.

With an apologetic look on her face, she had turned toward Shuu and told him that Rin would need to ride this out. But Shuu should not be worried because Rin would pull through.

These words were what kept Shuu going, and he quickly crawled toward Rin to take another look at his pain-filled face.

"S-Shuu... it hurts..."

Rin complained as he fought to wake up. But he was currently a prisoner of his own body.

His words made Shuu immediately walk over to him and grab the hand Rin was extending upward in order to gain some support. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

"Don’t worry, Rin. I am here. I will help out as much as I can..."

Shuu felt so helpless that he wanted to cry and break something out of frustration. But he was not able to get the help he wanted.

Rin let out another moan of pain, and Shuu decided that he could not take it anymore. He was about to leave to get more help when Rin suddenly grabbed his hand.

It startled Shuu enough to make him let his guard down, and he felt something slipping out from inside him.

It felt pleasant, and Shuu allowed more and more of it to flow out.

Rin was at the other end of this exchange, and he relaxed as soon as he felt that feeling soothing his body. He closed his eyes and allowed his senses to be enveloped in those nice feelings.

"I-Is this what guiding is? It feels... so natural. But so unnatural at the same time. I feel like a part of me is flowing out..."

But the feeling was not bad. In fact, it felt liberating, and Rin also seemed to be getting some color back in his face.

Things were looking a lot better than Shuu expected.

Rin continued to hold Shuu’s arm until he was satisfied, and he finally fell into a deep sleep. His fever was not fully gone, but Sasha had explained that it would likely last a whole week until Rin fully manifested.

So that meant Shuu had a week to escape this place with Rin if he wanted them both to live. Otherwise, Boss Honda would likely exploit both of them.

"Don’t panic right now. There is no reason to panic. There must be a way to get out of here... I am sure I can find one if I concentrate harder..."

Shuu tried to calm himself, but it was hard to remain positive in such a messy situation. Thankfully, he had time... and he had even more time over the next few days once he got the news that Boss Honda had gone out for a dungeon hunt and had taken Jenna with him.

And from what Shuu had heard, he would not be back for a while either.
