[BL] Seducing Male Leads To Survive As A Villain In A Novel-Chapter 367: My Son
I hope you understand my son. He’s not a bad kid at all. He only wants someone who appreciates him. Someone to be nice to him. And I think he found that person in you." He scoffed. "It’s obvious that he has feelings for you. He clearly likes you. But even if you don’t share the same romantic feelings for him, I want you to at least keep him safe for me. Keep him under your care. Please..."
Eden didn’t wish to ask further questions—like why he was speaking like that. But it seemed Mr. Albert could tell what he was thinking.
"You’re probably asking why I’m speaking as though I’m dying soon or something." He smiled. "But the truth is, we know Kyle won’t stop now. He’s clearly coming for us. So I want to keep my son safe—let him take me, if that’s the last thing I do." He sighed.
Mr. Albert looked into the stars. "Don’t you think you should spend more time with him? Run away or something? Stay with him forever?"
He smiled. "I would want that. But I don’t think it’s possible. The string of errors I’ve made will forever haunt my narrative until the day I die. It was never bound to be a happy tale. So no matter what happens, he’ll track me down. It’s just fate."
Eden stared at him now. "He gave you something."
Mr. Albert smiled. "You’re as sharp as always. And you were just a kid..."
Eden felt the urge to act. He approached Mr. Albert and stretched out a finger, feeling his neck. "This is..."
"I’ll die eventually. To keep me in check, he had me take the pill. If I ever betray him, I’ll die." He smiled as he spoke.
Eden’s expression paled as he stared at him. "You... why did you do that...?"
Mr. Albert smiled casually. "How else do you think one would pledge their loyalty to someone like him?"
"Let me take it off. Let me cure you," Eden offered.
"We both know you can’t. It’s not something you can just take away. It’s more spiritual and intimate than you think. It’s an oath—not something you can just remove. It’s already a part of me, and betraying the oath already sets me up for death. You can’t turn it off. You know that. Trying would be wasting everyone’s time."
Eden simply stared at him, watching him smile casually as he gazed into the stars, as if he didn’t have a time bomb ticking inside him.
Mr. Albert continued, "It was nice being able to experience all this madness. But it can also be tiring. And I’m tired." He turned to Eden. "So please... help me with this favor."
Eden said nothing.
Mr. Albert smiled and added, "And also... I don’t know if you’ve already realized—or maybe you have, but..."
He hesitated before speaking. "Earlier, while you were helping him out... did you feel it?"
Eden stared at him. Silence lingering between them for a while. He did feel it, and he understood what Mr. Albert meant by that.
Mr. Albert smiled softly. "I guess I’m really pushing my luck, bothering you again because of my son." he said with a deep sigh, feeling guilty.
Eden simply stared at him as he spoke, explaining the situation and the state of things. He could already tell where all this was going. And yet, he didn’t complain about it at all.

After they were done discussing that night, Mr. Albert turned to Eden and said, "He’s waiting for you in his room. He hopes you’ll come speak with him. It’s up to you."
Eden said nothing. He stood there for a moment in thought before deciding to go meet Felix in his sickbed.
Soon, he was sitting on a chair opposite the bed, arms crossed as he stared at him.
"It’s been a long time," Eden observed.
Felix stared at him with a smile. "Yes, Master. It’s been a long time. I’ve missed our private lessons together."
Eden scoffed. "This isn’t the time to joke around. You’re still at the brink of death."
Felix smiled softly as he took Eden’s hand in his. "I’m serious. I really do..." He stared into Eden’s eyes. "At least I know I missed your voice and face... I missed you so much."
"All this while I’ve been unconscious, all I could think about was you. I saw your face in my dreams. That was how much I missed you, Master."
Eden smiled as he placed a hand over his. "Then rest up so you can stay alive to see more of my face. Okay?"
Felix’s expression grew serious as he stared into Eden’s face, as though something were written on it. Then after a while, he said, "Master, please don’t abandon me."
Eden stared at him. "And why would you say that?"
It came out of nowhere.
Felix bit his lower lip. "I know what Dad did... I..." His voice faltered as he cleared his throat and continued. "I’m sorry..." He held Eden’s hand tightly. "I’m sorry for what Dad did... I’m sorry he treated you like that. I didn’t know—if I had known, I would have stopped him... I..."
Eden smiled and interrupted him. "Why are you apologizing for that? You didn’t do anything wrong, so don’t worry."
Felix paused, then continued, "But Dad treated you like that because of me. Everything happened because of me. If it wasn’t for me... none of this would have happened to you. You wouldn’t have had to go through that." His voice was firm.
But Eden smiled casually. He cupped Felix’s cheeks in his palms. "As your master, I command you not to worry about that. Just focus on getting better and recovering so everything your father worked hard for doesn’t go in vain. Okay?"
Felix simply stared at him without words.
Eden smiled as he patted his head. "It’s not your fault. So don’t worry about it at all. Is that clear?"
