Grand Marquis Adrian was already in the tub, covered by the warm water which he was taking his bath with.

Eden casually paced around the room while he was enjoying the view in that bedroom, when suddenly he heard a noise from the bath chamber. He turned and stared in the direction of it.

"Adrian?" he called, but no one answered. "Hello? Are you there...?"

He called again, but no one answered. He got worried for a while before he found his way in. As soon as Eden entered the bath chamber, he saw Adrian sitting in the bathtub. He was inside the water and his eyes were closed. He sat there like someone who was lifeless or something. Eden was confused.

"Hello?" Eden called, but he didn’t reply.

He got scared for a while as he tapped Adrian by the back. Adrian slowly opened his eyes, letting out a deep sigh. He stared into the water.

"What’s wrong with you...?"

Adrian slowly closed his eyes again. "Why are you in here?"

"Does that matter? What’s wrong with you?" he asked, but Adrian said nothing. He lay there for a while.

Eden stared at him, studying his expression and all. And when he couldn’t read through anything, he placed a hand on his back. Eden used his power and tried getting what was wrong with him. And he did get it.

"Your illness..." Eden said, staring at him. He could feel his illness building up within him. "You’re not okay."

Adrian scoffed. "I told you I was sick, so yes."

He did. But Adrian didn’t know he was serious and that it was about this illness. The terminal one that threatened to kill him soon.

"It’s nothing..."

"It’s something that could potentially kill you," Eden said, interrupting him even before he finished.

Adrian looked up at Eden with a smile. "So are you worried about me now?"

Eden said nothing. He stared at him for a while as though thinking about what he was going to do.

"It came back after the fight," Adrian explained. "I think the priest’s powers triggered it or something. But I think it came back worse..."

Eden was worried. "You should have had the physicians look after you."

"They did. As always, they didn’t have much say in it. They could only give me the pills they could come up with. But the pain still came sometimes... like an episode. And I have to bear through it."

Eden sighed as he stared down at Adrian. "Then you should have told me earlier."

Adrian stared at him without words.

"I’ll take a look at you, so shut up and face your front. Okay?" Eden instructed.

Adrian didn’t protest. He smiled as he turned his back to Eden and sat there. Eden ran his fingers through his back, using his powers to read through his illness.

After doing so, Eden placed a hand over his back, his purple energy flowing through Adrian’s bare body. His energy was flooding into him and he was using his power to cleanse him. He was using the energy he could to ease his pain and make him well again. Eden hated that even with his full powers, he still didn’t know how to cure him completely with it. Like a mysterious illness, it couldn’t come off like that. So all he could do was ease his pain and seal it off for some time so it didn’t drag him down or something.

When he was done, he stared at Adrian from behind. "You should stop fighting and all for the meantime. So you don’t trigger it much."

"How can you tell a general not to fight? Isn’t that the whole point of my profession?" he asked with a smile. "I’ve been fighting since I was young... how could I possibly stop?"

Eden sighed. "I’m just saying. If you care about yourself then you should consider it."

"And if you care about me..." Adrian said as he pulled Eden from behind.

Eden was caught off guard and so he found himself falling into the water too. He fell in front of Adrian as he quickly dug his head out of the water and stared at Adrian, who was sitting beside him in the water.

"What was that..." Eden ran his hands through his hair and face.

"... Then you should join me for a bath."

"And why would I...?" Eden asked.

"I heard it helps me heal better. When my physician is closer," Adrian said as he pulled Eden closer to himself.

He was completely naked in the water and Eden could feel the heat of his body against him now. He stared into his eyes.

"And who taught you that?" Eden asked.

Adrian smiled. "I don’t know, I just learned it."

"Well, that is wrong then," Eden said.

Adrian smiled. "We’ll never know if we don’t find out. Maybe I’ll heal completely...." His words drifted as he stared through Eden’s wet clothes glued to his body. "... If we’re close enough."

Eden brought his palms to feel Adrian’s forehead. "Are you okay? Are you sure it’s not your illness speaking?"

Adrian smiled. "Do you wish to confirm?"

Eden stared into his eyes. Dangerous as it seemed, it had a fatal seductive attraction to it. One that made Eden want to fall into it. "And how exactly can one confirm?"

Adrian smiled. "Easy. By letting me fill you up."

Eden scoffed. "You really are getting brave, are you still aware that I’m the wizard of EL?"

Adrian raised an eyebrow. "I’ve never been so aware. But at the moment, that’s not the information I care about. What I care about now is your body. I want you."

He was direct with his words. And Eden couldn’t help but flush.

"So..." Adrian said, running his fingers through Eden’s wet body, letting it tickle sensually around Eden, arouse him. "Can I touch you as I please...?"

Eden hesitated, his eyes glued to his dangerously trapping eyes. And at that moment, he too was aroused by the naked figure before him.

All he could do was smile. "Sure. If you can handle it."
