"So I’m giving you a last chance now," King Edward said. "Put down the sword and walk away from there, unless I’ll make sure you die with the wizard of EL tonight."

The King had openly threatened to kill his son. The crown prince. It was certainly something that shocked the audience who were around.

But Elvis didn’t move. He held his sword firmly as he said, "You can come for me if you want, I won’t be withdrawing."

King Edward scoffed. Staring at Elvis and then at Adrian who was standing behind him. "The two of you are really something.. I wonder if you’re under the spell of the wizard or what..."

Queen Lea was on her feet now. She stared at Lysander who was standing behind Adrian, Eden, and Elvis. "Come out from there this instant! Come and stand here with us."

Lysander didn’t move. He stood behind Eden where he was as he stared at his mother. Queen Lea panicked. "You! Come here this moment!"

But Lysander didn’t bother. He only stood there staring at his mother.

King Edward didn’t care. He only glared at Elvis with detest. "All this while I thought I’d raised someone worth the throne. Little did I know that I’ve raised a fool all along." 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

But Elvis stared at him with more contempt as he said, "You speak as if you had raised me with care and consideration. All this while, I was always an animal you brought up. A slave you’ve kept at hand to do your dirty tricks. A pawn in your filthy games." He said, leaving King Edward in shock.

"Are you... Speaking to me..?" King Edward couldn’t believe it.

"What? Don’t you wish to hear the truth? You’ve never considered me your son. You’ve never seen me as human. I was always a tool to you." He spoke out of detest. It was his first time ever speaking back at his father and calling him out for what he did.

And he did it publicly.

King Edward boiled in fury. "You really have grown the nerves, right? I wonder if the wizard of EL has given you the confidence to speak!"

King Edward now had both hands behind him. "But that doesn’t matter now. It never will. Because tonight I’ll end the life of the dreaded wizard of EL and those who support him. It shall be that simple."

Elvis held his sword firmly as King Edward raised his hands for the guards to see.

Princess Cordelia was already panicking from all this. She tried breaking free from her guards but to no avail.

"Don’t harm him! Don’t touch him! It’s an order!" She tried saying but no one listened.

At that moment, King Edward already had something he was bent on doing and so he didn’t bother listening to her.

They only held her down from running off to stop them physically.

"You really are not going to move, you ungrateful bastard," King Edward said. "After all I’ve done bringing you up, you decided to choose this path of betrayal."

Elvis scoffed. "Stop being hypocritical. You never did anything for me. But rather you used me. I’ve been quiet about all your acts because I thought that someday you’d come around.. but I guess I was just being naive." he was trying his best not to bring up his mother. "But that doesn’t matter, because from now I won’t let it happen again."

"Declaring war against me?" The king laughed. "I’d like to see how this madness ends!" He signaled the men as they attacked.

Some group of soldiers attacked Adrian and Elvis, and without hesitation they took them down. Elvis and Adrian skillfully took them down, blood pouring on the floor.

King Edward had a cold expression on. "You pathetic bastard. You actually did spill the blood of your own soldiers for this wizard. I guess there’s no going back now."

Eden stood there as he watched Adrian and Elvis stand firm before him. They were protecting him even though they knew he could potentially protect himself.

The king now had more guards attack, and the two had their backs against each other, fighting the soldiers with their swords and taking them down in blood.

Eden had some soldiers coming for him, and all he did was snap his finger at them and they fell down, dead.

The fight soon intensified. Most of the soldiers were coming in strong, surrounding them and trying to take down the three of them as commanded; Eden, Elvis, and Adrian.

Lysander had pulled his sword to protect Eden. Even though he wasn’t so skilled in it, he tried his best to fight the guards.

"Don’t harm my son!" Was all Queen Lea could say as she watched in fear.

But the fight proceeded nevertheless, and Lysander was out to defend Eden. But at the end of the day, Eden was the one protecting himself and Lysander from attacks.

He used his powers to brush the soldiers away. Sending them flying over one another and crashing against each other.

He had purple waves hovering around the scene, blasting off the guards who had come to take Lysander away.

One of them had succeeded in sneaking up on Lysander while he was trying to take down one of the soldiers. He had a stick in his hand with which he wanted to make Lysander go unconscious.

Eden had seen it a bit too late. He turned to watch as the soldier raised the stick and smashed it against Lysander’s head.

Lysander gasped and fell down on his knees. Eden panicked as he immediately waved a hand towards the scene without a second thought.

A wave of purple energy blasted towards the scene and sent the soldier violently flying over and crashing against a pillar. He fell down bleeding and died.

Some other soldiers around there fell down too, hurt and some dead. It was a brutal wave he had used.

And now Eden stared at Lysander who had fallen on the ground.
