They stared at each other for a while before Eden recalled something important.

Elvis was hurt.

"Elvis..." he said as he instantly got up on his feet. He headed to where Elvis was struggling to get up.

At least he wasn’t unconscious.

He helped Elvis to his feet as he placed a hand over his chest. "Are you okay?"

"I’m fine," Elvis said, clearing his throat while cleaning off the blood on his lips. He clearly wasn’t.

Lysander also walked up to him. "Are you okay? What happened to you? Did he attack you too?"

Elvis casually stared at him. "What are you doing here?"

"I..."

"You shouldn’t be here. Your mother and father are probably worried about you at home," Elvis said.

"That should be the least of your worries now. You’re hurt so you should get treated," Eden expressed, worried.

"I said I’m fine..." Elvis insisted.

"Eden is right, you’re not," Lysander said. "You should take a break."

"I said I’m fine..." Elvis said but coughed out blood.

Worried, Eden instantly thought of what to do. And he recalled that he came with the medicine the Royal physician had made for him. He had given it to Lenny to hold.

And so he informed Lenny in his mind, "The medicine."

And it appeared in his hands.

While Elvis and Lysander stared at the pill that magically appeared in his hands, Eden handed it to Elvis. "Here. You should have it now."

"What’s this?" Elvis asked.

"Medicine of course. So have it," Eden insisted.

"How am I supposed to have something that isn’t from the physician...?" Elvis asked.

"Well I’m the wizard so..." Eden glared at him. "Have it if you don’t want to die."

"Trust him and just have it brother," Lysander said, worried.

But Elvis was still skeptical. Eden had poisoned him before so he didn’t know what he wanted to get through this...

He still wasn’t letting his guard down that easily.

But Eden leaned close to him and whispered, "The poison I gave you, this should help stop it from reacting now so you don’t die. So take it."

Elvis hesitated and then had the pill.

As soon as he was done having the pills, he stared at Eden after he recalled something. "So the pill can be taken like this and it is effective?"

Eden blinked. "Of course it can. Isn’t that how pills are taken? What else?"

Now Elvis scoffed, glaring at Eden. "Then what was the lip feeding for? The kiss that came with the previous pills you gave me. You said it was only effective if given like that. From your lips to mine..."

There was silence.

Eden stood there, stiffened. He blinked having realised that he had actually been busted. His lies were exposed. And in front of Lysander.

And Lysander on the other hand stared at Eden in shock. "You kissed him...?" His expression turned into jealousy.

And Eden could easily tell.

"Well..." Eden smiled. "That’s a story for another day. For now, congratulations on having the pills." He turned and walked away, heading for the horse.

Elvis and Lysander stood there, both watching him leave to mount the horse.

Elvis was still recovering from the fact that he had been lied to about the way the pill should be effectively given. And his kisses were intentionally stolen by Eden who was messing with him.

He felt like a gullible kid.

While Lysander stood there growing with jealousy over the fact that Eden kissed someone else. Probably not once or even twice.

The journey continued in silence.

Elvis took a single horse while Lysander and Eden shared a horse. They quietly journeyed through the woods and villages, stopping by for some refreshments.

But after some hours, they finally arrived at the palace. At night.

Their horses arrived at the palace. And the guards opened the gates for them.

They made their way in. And before they got to the entrance of the Palace building, some guards surrounded them.

As though it was an ambush, some guards came out of nowhere and surrounded the two horses from all angles. Their front, back, left and right were all surrounded by guards with swords and spears.

They were royal guards.

Elvis’s horse was in front of Lysander’s as he looked around. "And what’s all this?"

The guards said nothing. They maintained their position with their weapons pointed at them as though they’d attack anytime soon.

"What disrespect is this? How dare you point your weapons at the princes? Do you have a death wish?!" Elvis questioned in a loud voice.

But they didn’t move. They stayed like that.

"I’ll give you a minute..." Elvis said, pulling his sword. "Move or I’ll have your heads," he ordered.

"Will they listen to the orders of the King? Or that of a crown prince who wishes to commit treason?" King Edward questioned as he stepped out of the palace building.

Behind him were some guards and the two Queens. They now stood before the guards while looking at the two Princes and Eden who were on the horse.

Queen Lea was shocked to see her son. "Oh dear! Where did you go?! Why are you with that monster?! I warned you not to associate yourself with these people!"

But Lysander wasn’t moving a spot. He sat behind Eden on the horse and his hands were around Eden while holding the reins of the horse.

King Edward had his eyes on Elvis as he said, "The instruction was simple. Bring me the head of the wizard of EL. So why is he here... healthy and complete?"

Elvis hesitated before replying, "I pray father lets me in so we can have a discussion. I have my reasons and I am sure you’ll also agree with me when I let you know of it."

But the king scoffed. "You always have a smart reason behind your silly actions. Do you think I’ll fall for it this time around?"

"I’m already sick and tired of your excuses. And I won’t be entertaining it this time around," King Edward said. "So it’s either you kill that monster right before my eyes and come in. Or you die with that monster right here before everyone’s eyes."

It was a threat.
