After that horrific incident, Arcane told Marshal and Hans everything. They were both shocked, yet knew that this was bound to happen sooner or later.

Especially Marshal, who had noticed Ryan’s interest in Julian from the moment they first met at his house. Ryan had even approached him personally to discuss the matter.

"He once told me he thought Julian was a very sweet person. At first, I thought he was just joking. But sometimes I forget that he’s a playboy," said Marshal.

Ryan was indeed known as a man who liked to play with many women. But they didn’t know that he also targeted men who were considered cute and sweet like Julian.

Now Hans felt that it was not surprising when Ryan asked Julian to wear a maid costume. It turned out that he had other intentions, namely to see what the man looked like when wearing it.

"For more than 7 years we’ve known him, I never thought he was that kind of person. It’s really embarrassing," said Hans.

"But Julian is okay, right? He hasn’t done anything to you yet." Marshal asked his cousin again, feeling worried not because he was afraid of being scolded by Julian’s parents, but because Julian was like his own younger brother.

Julian shook his head. "I’m fine. He hasn’t had a chance to do anything to me, and Arcane came home on time."

He and Hans felt relieved upon hearing his answer. They had been worried that Ryan had done something to Julian.

Suddenly, a message came in on Marshal’s cell phone, causing the man to frown and feel uncomfortable reading it. He showed the message to the person sitting next to him, and Hans showed the same reaction.

Arcane and Julian exchanged glances, curious about the contents of the message Marshall had received. The man then showed the message on his cell phone that Ryan was coming to his house soon.

This made Arcane’s anger boil again, knowing that the man was coming there.

Hans, who saw the situation, had an idea to do something.

"Just do what I say. Now take your car and move it to a public parking lot not far from here. Then you two hide in the next room. I’m sure Ryan is coming to seek my defense and Marshal’s," said the man, explaining his idea.

He and Marshall would pretend not to know anything and listen to everything Ryan said to them. They would pretend to believe his words and listen to everything the man had to say to them.

Hearing the idea, Arcane and Julian agreed. Julian then went to the room next to his cousin’s living room, while Arcane went to park his car elsewhere before Ryan arrived.

They arranged the living room as if Arcane and Julian weren’t there, and even Hans hid as if he would arrive a few minutes after Ryan. This was because he had just received a message from the man to gather at that place.

"Then let’s do it now."

After almost 20 minutes, the man they were talking about finally arrived. He had messy hair and a mischievous face, but there were still many bruises on his face. These were the marks left by Arcane’s beating two days ago.

"Hey Marshal! Has Hans arrived yet?" asked Ryan as he walked into his friend’s house.

Marshal, pretending not to know anything, immediately shook his head. "Not yet. Hans hasn’t arrived. What happened to your face?"

Ryan’s expression looked unhappy when asked about the bruises on his face. But he said he would tell everything when Hans arrived.

Not long after, Hans, who had actually been there all along, pretended to have just arrived. He immediately looked at Ryan with a surprised expression.

"Ryan?! What happened to your face, dude? It looks like you just got into a fight?" he asked jokingly, as he usually did to avoid arousing Ryan’s suspicion.

"Yes, I just fought a very annoying monster, and guess what? It was Archie!" he replied.

The two men had already guessed that Ryan would say that. Arcane and Julian were waiting in the next room to listen to their conversation.

That’s when Ryan started telling the story of how he got beaten up by Arcane just because he invited Julian to go for a ride on his motorcycle. He said that Arcane was very possessive of Julian, and that his possessiveness could even endanger him.

"I saw him slap Julian! Right in front of me, just because Julian said he was bored at home and accepted my invitation to go for a ride on my motorcycle," Ryan told them.

He even made up a scenario, as if Arcane had beaten him up and threatened to kill him if Ryan dared to approach Julian again. He wanted Marshall to believe his words that Arcane was dangerous to Julian.

However, on the other hand, Marshal and Hans knew the real story. They knew exactly what Ryan was like. That’s why they didn’t believe him, but stuck to their plan to pretend they didn’t know anything about it.

"Did he really do that? That damn Arcane! How could he do that to Julian? I have to warn him!" Marshal hit his own palm in frustration with his knuckles.

"I agree with that. We can’t let Julian stay near the dangerous Arcane. I didn’t expect Arcane to be like that," said Hans.

"I also didn’t expect him to do something so violent to Julian! They seemed fine all this time, but it turns out that behind the scenes, Arcane had been treating Julian like his punching bag!"

He continued with his scenario, as if to say that during the year Julian had lived with Arcane, Arcane had done many things to the poor man. It was just that because he was threatened, Julian didn’t dare to say anything and pretended that everything was fine.

Julian, who was in the next room listening to the conversation, felt so angry that Ryan was accusing Arcane like that. Even since he first met him, Arcane had never once been violent towards him, let alone raised his voice.

"He really pisses me off. I want to punch his face!" he muttered, clenching his fists tremulously. It wasn’t fear he felt, but anger.

Not only him, but Arcane also felt the same way because he was accused of violence. Especially since Ryan made up such a story, intending to destroy his relationship with Julian.

The longer they listened to Ryan’s scenario, the more Hans got caught up in the emotions because Ryan really seemed to want to destroy Arcane. Especially when he brought up the past, where Roland, the man who had lived with Arcane, left him because Arcane had abused him.

But it was clear that Roland was just using Arcane.
