[BL] Mr. Romano Contracted Husband-Chapter 46: With You, Everything Feels Better
The next morning, Arcane woke up feeling a little tired because they had stayed up until 2:00 a.m. the night before. Even so, he had to go to work as usual because it was still a workday.
When he opened his eyes and sat up on the bed, he saw Julian still lying there, fast asleep. His body was covered with bite marks and kiss marks that he had left behind.
Even so, it was possible that Arcane’s body also had the same marks, especially on his neck.
However, he actually felt happy about it and gently stroked Julian’s head.
"Wake up, sleepyhead. It’s already 6:00 a.m. How long do you want to sleep?" she asked softly.
However, Julian only responded with a weak voice, like a child who didn’t want to be woken up from his sleep.
"My body is so tired. I’m still sleepy, I don’t want to get up yet!"
Arcane laughed at his husband’s spoiled voice. "Did I go too far with you last night? Even to the point of draining all your energy and making you this exhausted?"
But this time he didn’t answer, and continued sleeping. The man sitting next to him could only smile and kiss his forehead. He knew he had gone too far last night, making his husband exhausted.
Finally, Arcane got out of bed and went straight to the bathroom to clean himself up before making breakfast.
At exactly 8:35 a.m., Julian woke up and was sure that Arcane had already left for work. His body still felt so tired, and some parts of his body ached from the bites he had received.
"Last night he was like a madman. Even though last night was my first time doing something like this, he made me exhausted right away."
Even so, Julian felt happy and warm in his heart every time he remembered what he had done with the man who had always been so attentive to him.
A smile appeared on his sweet face, then he slowly got out of bed and walked to the kitchen. It turned out that there was still a bowl of shrimp noodle soup on the dining table, deliberately left for him.
As he approached, he found a note from Arcane saying that he could put the bowl of soup in the microwave if he wanted to warm it up.
Just put the bowl in the microwave for 1 minute. Since I separated the noodles from the broth, it won’t change the taste of the noodles. Don’t forget to rest. I know you’re very tired.

A smile spread across his face as he read the note. He heated the soup in the microwave, mixed it with the noodles, and enjoyed his breakfast.
"I should have woken up earlier so I could have breakfast with him. But I was too tired for that."
Having just finished washing the dishes he had used, he found another note in the refrigerator written by Arcane.
"Oh, what’s this? Another note. I bought two caramel puddings for you, so you can enjoy them cold. The puddings are in the refrigerator. But don’t eat them all at once, or you’ll get fat." Julian read the note. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
"Fat? What the hell! Does he think that just because I eat two puddings I’ll get fat?" he commented, slightly annoyed, then opened the refrigerator.
Sure enough, inside were two caramel puddings that had been bought just for him. Arcane knew that Julian really liked caramel pudding.
At first, Julian intended to eat the caramel pudding, but he changed his mind and closed the refrigerator again.
In the afternoon, when Arcane finally came home, he found Julian cutting fruit.
"Did you go shopping for dinner?" asked Arcane, loosening his tie.
Julian nodded. "Yes! I’ve already shopped for dinner. I bought tuna, brown rice, and white tofu. Just like you said!"
Arcane nodded in satisfaction, then rolled up his sleeves and started cooking. Every now and then he glanced at Julian, who was enjoying the fruit slices, smiling especially when he saw the mark of his kiss on his neck.
"How are you feeling? Much better?"
"Yes! I slept more today and now I want to eat some pears so I can feel better quickly," replied Julian.
He was happy to hear that and continued cooking dinner for the two of them. After dinner, as usual, Arcane was going to wash the dishes. But this time Julian took over the job.
"Now our marriage is no longer a contract! So I have an obligation to help my husband with the housework." He told Arcane to go take a shower and rest while he washed the dishes.
"Are you sure? All right then. I’ll go take a shower and then we can watch TV, how about that?" asked Arcane, folding his arms across his chest with a proud look, because Julian had taken the initiative to help him.
After all the housework was done, Arcane sat on the sofa in the living room waiting for Julian to finish changing his clothes. When his husband came, he brought two cups of caramel pudding that Arcane had bought that morning.
"This is for you!" said the green haired man as he handed him one cup of pudding.
"I bought this for you. But why are you giving it back to me?" asked Arcane as he accepted the cold pudding in his hands.
Julian sat right next to him as he opened the lid of the pudding. "I don’t want to enjoy this alone. All this time, I’ve realized that sometimes I look like a selfish child. But now I’m an adult! I want to enjoy moments like this with you!"
Arcane’s heart was beating so fast, his face slightly red from blushing as he stared at the caramel pudding in his hand. He glanced at Julian, who was smiling broadly as he enjoyed his own pudding.
Slowly, he opened his pudding cup and enjoyed it. The cold, sweet taste of caramel melted in Arcane’s mouth, making the fatigue of a day of teaching and cooking seem to disappear.
"How is it? It’s like your hard work today has paid off, right?" Julian turned to him and nudged Arcane’s arm.
"Yes, you’re right. But I don’t think it’s just because of this pudding that I feel like all my burdens are gone. But because I have you by my side," he replied.
Now it wasn’t just the pudding that was melting, but also Julian’s heart upon hearing his words. Perhaps those were the kind of flattering words many people heard, but they sounded special when Arcane said them.
"Because only with you do I feel that life is truly meaningful."
