Chapter 98: Chapter 29: The Truth! Destiny’s Decision!

The corpse of the fallen enemy is disintegrating.

In front of everyone, the body of this gray-robed Wizard is like writhing sludge, gradually evaporating under the sunlight, leaving almost no trace at all.

"Projection? Clone?" 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

The Night Watchers at the scene looked at the body disappearing into thin air, each wearing an extremely grave expression, as the ground bore no Extraordinary Relics.

They had been deceived!

The group had spent half a day Tracking, only to kill a mere clone projection of the enemy.

Shawn felt his hair stand on end!

If a mere clone projection could cast a Fifth Ring spell, how powerful must the enemy’s true form be?

Under the sunlight.

The street was awash with blood, corpses strewn about in an unbearable sight, from a distance came the screams of terror and despair, marking a massacre of inhumanity where a single Spell killed hundreds, sparing neither man, woman, nor child, leaving ordinary people utterly powerless in the face of this brutal atrocity.

They were slaughtered mercilessly, like livestock!

"Damned beast!" Benjamin unusually lost his composure.

He watched the lifeless trio, a family extinguished by the Death Cloud Technique, the shopkeeper who stepped out only to drop dead at the threshold with bleeding from seven apertures, and the boy playing soccer in the alley who erupted into a puddle of flesh.

These scenes painted Benjamin’s eyes a blood-red hue, a deep-seated killing intent bursting in his gaze.

"Captain?"

"Who exactly is the enemy?"

Shawn’s eyes were also flushed red, as a young man educated in modern times, he might be indifferent at times, but he utterly refused to accept such slaughter of ordinary people.

The power gap between Transcendents and ordinary people was simply too vast!

Even a newly elevated Warrior, should they target ordinary people, countless innocents would fall dead at their hands.

These two are on completely different scales, Transcendents hold an absolute advantage.

Benjamin gazed steadily at Shawn and spoke slowly: "Gray Whisper Hermitage."

"I don’t know who they are either."

"They come from another world."

Bizarre Realm!

These people are Transcendents from the Bizarre Realm!

Upon hearing this, Shawn raised his head at once, understanding what the Captain meant.

"So, they’re all High Tier Transcendents? Even Destiny Legendaries!?" Shawn’s lips curled into a bitter smile.

This was sheer suppression through might.

Ordinary Transcendents couldn’t even survive in the Bizarre Realm, at least High Tier Transcendents were required to set foot there. The enemy was clearly more than one, from the Dark Blood Sacrifice to the Lady of the House appearing, each emerging enemy was stronger than the last, their power far surpassing the Night Watchers. Had it not been for their home-field advantage, the situation would have long been irretrievable.

"The turmoil in the Del Region, the mastermind is the warband of the Gray Whisper Hermitage — the Calamity Messenger Team."

Daisy’s melancholic voice resounded: "I also learned of this today."

"A Forest Sage has been corrupted, directly falling into a Withered."

The Forest Sage is a Great Druid.

This level of existence, a mere stomp in the Realm of Reality would cause the earth to quake and mountains to rock. If even a Great Druid could be corrupted, Shawn found it hard to fathom how disastrous the situation was.

Shawn murmured: "What exactly are they trying to do?"

"Entering the Realm of Reality, solely to massacre powerless ordinary people?"

Shawn had to find the answer.

If the Night Watchers wouldn’t tell him, he would find someone who would.

Shawn glanced at the others, his gaze sweeping slowly across the street filled with bodies, the harrowing massacre had utterly shattered his perception of the Realm of Reality.

Divine Hall District.

Shawn’s figure rushed toward the temple because the recent turmoil in the Divine Hall District had brought more pray-ers than before, yet the temple in the Realm of Reality offered little meaning, for Demigods of the Bizarre Realm required no faith.

Upon entering the temple, he headed straight toward a female Divine Spirit statue with three heads, three bodies, and six arms, silently praying in his heart: "Teacher!"

"I need to see you!"

Inside the temple.

A gleam of invisible Spiritual Light emerged on the Divine Spirit statue before Shawn, startling Bishop Rod who hurried in, he quietly stationed himself at the entrance, closing the doors and sealing off all outside gazes.

Everything was shrouded in a pervasive gray mist; when Shawn awoke from it, he had entered a Dream Realm.

The Maze Library unfurled like a vivid painting.

Several ethereal Undead Beldams busied themselves within, directly ahead sat a black desk with Lady Hecate present.

The Lady appeared as old, a weariness faintly showing on her face.

"Teacher." Shawn respectfully lowered his head.

Lady Hecate raised her eyes to look at him, her gaze calm as she spoke: "You’ve come. Do you have a matter to discuss?"

Shawn couldn’t tell if it was an illusion, but he felt the Spirituality of Lady Hecate seemed a bit weak.

Shawn stepped up before the Lady, spoke in a deep voice: "Teacher, do you know about everything happening in Dorne?"

Lady Hecate nodded silently.

The human Demigods had always been observing the Realm of Reality, they stood as Watchers outside the Clockwork Nirvana Twelve Realms and, given their Demigod rank, such matters could never be hidden from them. A simple Prophetic Spell would render everything crystal clear.
