It’s said this originated from something called ’Silver Fire’, a Power of magical essence transformed by a Great Mage, who ultimately completed the entire Magic Net ascension ritual system, and Candlefort was first established in the Spirit Realm by him and other powerful Mages.
However, most Casters obtained the Extraordinary Essence for ascension from monsters; facing the Primitive Magic Power directly was too reckless for them.

Shawn seized the opportunity, in the moment when the Magic Net ritual sliced those intangible tendrils, he mobilized his brain, consciousness, Magic Power, and mystical knowledge. Last time he had digested these intangible tendrils, but this time it wasn’t enough; he had to suck hard along the wound, as if extracting blood, to acquire the flowing Magical essence within it.
A nauseating feeling surged in his heart.
Shawn felt as if he had swallowed a mouthful of thick pus, feeling a bit numb all over. The flowing Primitive Magic Power was so viscous, like a pot of necrotic, sweet putrescent soup, as it surged into Shawn’s body, his existing Magic Power instantly became substantial.
"This Magic Power is expired! It’s completely rotten!" Shawn’s scalp tingled, and he stiffened his will to take another gulp.

He immediately severed the ritual connection, sneaking away before the massive consciousness of the Primitive Magic Power noticed.
It felt just like a mosquito that took a sip of blood and then fled.
