Bizarre Realm-Chapter 128 - 2: Take the Leap! No More Confusion!

Though Shawn had fully absorbed the first stage of the Extraordinary Relics, his current power had not reached its limit. Firstly, he mastered very few spells, secondly, he had no Super Magical Ability, and his Combat Specialization was not yet fully formed.

This is equivalent to Shawn preparing to break through to the next realm without a solid foundation.

This is why Aemon said Shawn was on the verge of being ruined in terms of cultivation. Most of the Fire Thieves from back then had fallen; Aemon was considered the sole survivor.

Dark Era was the promotion system of the Monster Path he had compiled.

Aemon’s descent into the Bizarre Realm was as a reincarnated human and then transformed into the Demon race, so he mostly appeared in human form.

Although Aemon was not a Demigod on the Wizard Path, as a Fire Thief who initiated the Monster Path, he was absolutely qualified to guide Shawn regarding the knowledge of the promotion path, in which he was even more professional than Ms. Hecate.

"Ms. Hecate arranged the Path of Death advancement for me, but as for Aemon’s intentions, he was more hoping I would choose knowledge as my promotion domain."

Aemon said Shawn could not advance to digest the second stage of the Extraordinary Relics, but did not say he couldn’t access the first Extraordinary Domain.

Death or Knowledge.

These were the two sequences Shawn could currently choose from because only by advancing into destiny could he convert the twisted Law sequence into a normal Extraordinary Domain, so Shawn had to bear the corresponding cost no matter which one he chose.

Mastering Death requires first embracing Death.

Desire for Knowledge requires first enduring madness.

Shawn touched the position of his heart, as Aemon had taken out his heart, activating the power of the Rotting Egg Mother; he was now a ’Heartless,’ a Living Dead, neither belonging to the living nor the dead, possessing the ability to access the Death Domain.

"Then there is the domain of Knowledge. In the real world, I’ve already basically learned the General Knowledge."

"But I have yet to touch the threshold to access the Law of [Knowledge]."

"It’s not that my knowledge is lacking, but the Mystical Knowledge I grasp is insufficient; the enhancement of mystical knowledge can only be obtained through plundering other creatures’ Extraordinary Abilities."

Shawn’s current thought was focused on only one thing: how to enhance his strength and survive.

Shawn’s consciousness lightly touched the active Mystical Knowledge in his mind, which had noticeably become more restless since entering the Bizarre Realm.

"Mystical knowledge has increased."

"Just when I extracted the Extraordinary Relics, the mystical knowledge increased by about one-twentieth."

"It seems that Wizards accessing the [Knowledge] Domain is determined by the number of spells they possess; the more spells owned, the more mystical knowledge there is."

But must endure pollution and madness.

Shawn’s current state was difficult to describe; after wearing the Curios, his Spirituality sensed a hint of coldness, combined with the pollution from digesting the Extraordinary Relics. The feeling he currently described in his own way was that the upper limit of the Rationality Value had been reduced.

He could only understand everything in his way; Shawn felt that the more Curios he equipped, the lower the Rationality Value’s upper limit became. Once the Curios were removed, the cold sensation in spirituality obviously disappeared.

"Extracting Extraordinary Relics will increase one’s mental pollution, which can gradually recover."
