Birth Of The Crafts-God-Chapter 322: Time’s Up 3
The Satcthalle broke free from the binding strapped around it, letting out a terrifying roar in the process.
"Roar!"
"Hold it back."
William hurriedly ordered his bodyguard as he saw the monster glance in his direction.
The middle-aged man charged right after the monster with a blade in hand. However, the desolate beast was already irritated with the continuous attacks.
Without any sign, it crouched before lifting its two front hooves up and slamming them down forcefully onto the ground.
"Get away!" William yelled at his bodyguard, but it was already too late.
A staggering amount of force blasted out from the pair of hooves into the ground. If it were just that, there would be craters at the point of collision with a few fissures spreading outwards. However, this move by the Satcthalle was supported by its stellar energy reserves. Most of all, it had used its true power to execute the attack. Hence, the power of this move wasn't at the peak of the sixth level of the Apertures Opening stage like the previous attacks, but at the peak of the seventh level.
*Boom*
A loud explosion resounded once the Satcthalle's hooves crashed into the ground. Accompanying that was an astonishing earthquake with a shockwave that raised the earth and formed a rippling wave outwards. The scene was somewhat similar to a blanket being flapped. The moving earth was just like a tsunami, except instead of water, it was comprised of soil and rocks.
This earth tsunami spread out in all directions with the two hooves as the centre, wreaking havoc all over of the place. Because of the force and the amount of stellar energy used, the tsunami spread out faster than the hyumans could react. However, what was worse was that the ceiling was also affected as rocks and dust broke off from it. Fissures also littered the place as the earthquake became intense. The entire scene began to look like something out of a doomsday movie.
William's bodyguard was the first to get caught up by the attacks before William and Cassie. The latter two were able to react more appropriately, deploying shields at the last moment.
The range of the attack didn't stop there, but instead crossed the two hundred metres mark. As a result, Lucas and the other group of survivors were caught up by the earth tsunami.
"Watch out!"
The survivors yelled in horror as they tried to dodge the four-metres-high wave and the falling rocks.
Some retaliated with their vestiges, but it didn't do much as the ground caved in and they were eventually buried by the wave of earth. The others channeled their entire efforts into defending and protecting themselves.
Lucas was the same as he summoned the complete Stellar Circuit Battle-Armour, not caring whether he would be discovered or not. He utilised the full power of the Vis receptacle to generate a stellar energy shield around him. Lucas immediately dove to the ground and took up a tortoise pose to mitigate the impact.
The earth tsunami spread out until it covered the entire cavern. The earth tsunami didn't die down until seven seconds later, but by then, the entirety of the cavern was affected. Even the entrance Lucas came through was blocked by the rocks and a part of it collapsed due to the impact. The entire terrain within the cavern had changed thanks to this one move from the Satcthalle.
There was utter silence with the desolate beast being the only existence standing upright; the others were all buried underneath the rocks.
Within a ten metres radius of the Satcthalle, the ground beneath it had sunk four metres. On the surface above, the floor was irregular and looked like a scene right from a cataclysmic event. There were cracks all over and
The previously visible ores that provided the cavern with a dull green lighting were now buried as well. However, because the terrain was changed greatly, some of the ores underneath were brought up, so the cavern was still lit up. freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
As for the Aión source, the Heart of Silver, it was surprisingly unaffected by the attack. The earth tsunami had stopped a few metres away from it as if it was blocked off by something. The purple light given off by the Heart of Silver now shown brightly as compared to before; a sign that it was close to maturity. Even with the four metres tall wall blocking it off, one could still get a glimpse of the purple light from the edges.
The Satcthalle stared at this and waved it off at the wall. A blast of stellar energy was propelled and smashed the wall left behind the earth tsunami. The Heart of Silver was now revealed as before, in full glory.
With a captivated expression, the Satcthalle drew closer to it to collect the ore. Based on what it could sense, the Heart of Silver was only a few seconds away —a minute at most—from maturity. In that case, there was no reason for it to keep fooling around with those little creatures which was why the Satcthalle retaliated harshly like that.
And so, a behemoth of ten metres and roughly fifty tons in weight, began making its way calmly towards the Aión source.
*Crack*
A light distinct noise sounded a couple of metres away, but with the noise from the footsteps of the Satcthalle, it failed to notice this. However, in the next few seconds, more similar sounds rang across the area. It became impossible for the monster to not have realised something was happening.
*Bang*
From beneath the ground, a figure broke out and crawled to its feet. The figure was William and right after him, his bodyguard similarly escaped from the ground. Cassie also survived and broke free from the rocks, but she was greatly injured with blood dripping down from her forehead.
William and his bodyguard also weren't in a good state, but they were considerably better off than Cassie.
As for the rest of their teammates, from the looks of things, they had died from the Satcthalle's attack.
"Fucking bastard." William glared furiously at the monster.
This was the first time he was very close to death. If it wasn't for his quick reflexes in pulling out the Grade 4 vestige with him, both he and his bodyguard might have died during that instance.
Just then, the communicator on William's wrist beeped. This was the alert to notify him that there were only thirty seconds left.
