Sebastian’s POV

Right now I’m on my way to dad’s place, as I was driving I thought of calling Louis. I picked up my phone and dialed Louis’s number. I click the loudspeaker so I can hear what he has to say while I’m driving. My phone rang three times before he answered it.

"Louis?" I said.

"Yea?" he responds.

"Where are you?" I asked.

"On my way going to dad’s house."

"Okay, does Michelle went home already?"

"Yes... shit, bro! I’m nervous! Dad might kill me!" Louis said nervously.

"Just calm down Louis, dad won’t be able to do that, he can’t kill you. You are his child," I said trying to calm him.

"That’s the problem bro. I am his son but I hid it from him...we hid it from him. "

"We have no choice but to admit it and tell him. I didn’t forget to remind you about your relationship with Michelle though. "

It looks like he is no longer here in the country and so far they don’t know where he is hiding right now. So, I think it is unlikely that he has anything to do with it because he no longer has connections. "

"Then, there’s a lot of hope it might have something to do with Steve."

"But can a father destroy his own daughter against his enemy?"

Louis was suddenly silenced on the other line.

"Well, don’t think too much, we’ll find out from dad later, just think about how we’re going to deal with dad later."

"Right. By the way, I’m almost near to dad’s house. I’ll just wait for you inside the house. "

I dropped the call and continued to drive towards dad’s house. As I driving, I couldn’t help but wonder who exactly was the person who told dad about his relationship with Michelle. Hopefully, whoever it is, he will not bring a problem to our family. A few minutes later I arrived at dad’s house, I immediately saw Louis’ car in the parking lot. So, I knew he was inside the house already and he was probably talking to dad. I got out of the car and went inside the house. As I was walking toward his office, I could already hear dad’s voice, it wasn’t calm. I knew that at that time I would face his anger. I no longer knocked on the door of his office because it was not closed. As soon as I entered, I saw dad’s disappointed face as Louis just looked at me as if to say that I entered his office at the wrong time.

"Good that you’re here already, I want an answer from you, Sebastian! How many years have they been in a relationship with Steve’s daughter? " dad asked seriously.

I was suddenly swallowed by saliva at dad’s question. I stared at Louis as I tried to peek at his reaction but I couldn’t figure it out.

"Umm... if I’m not mistaken they’ve been together for almost 3 years..."

"Really?" dad asked.

"That’s as far as I know dad," I said.

"So, you mean, Louis is lying to me?"

"Dad? What? " I asked while looking at Louis who was just staring at us.

"Yes, Sebastian, because your brother says they’re just been together for over a year and he told me that he’s just looking for the right timing to tell me about their relationship. So, it means everything Louis said to me is all lies, Sebastian? "

I couldn’t answer dad’s question, I was still looking at Louis, waiting for an answer from him but not a word came out of his mouth. So, I just looked back at dad and I took a deep breath and tried to speak again.

"Dad, calm down first. How did you find out about their relationship, by the way? Who said that to you? "

Dad looked at me carefully and then turned around and went to his table, he grabbed an envelope and handed it to me.

"There is all the evidence that they really have a relationship. I don’t know who sent that, there isn’t any information that says who that envelope came from but when I opened that envelope I saw photos of Louis and Steve’s daughter, Michelle. I don’t have to ask what relationship they have because those photos are enough evidence," dad explained to me.

I was shocked at what I saw because so many photos were put in the envelope, it looked like all the photos were of them together in public places are here. I looked at Louis again who was just staring at me; it looks like dad had already shown him these pictures because he had no reaction when he saw them.

"You and your brother have been fooling me for a long time, especially you Sebastian, you have known their relationship for a long time but you chose to keep it from your own father. What do you think? That you can keep it a long time from me? It looks like both of you forgot that you still have a father. I didn’t raise the both of you to just hide things from me; I am very disappointed with you two, especially with Louis. You know what, Louis! It would be better for you to just break up with your girlfriend, maybe her daughter is spying on our family so she chose to get close to you because from the beginning that’s their plan already," dad explained.

This time I noticed the change in Louis’s reaction, now I was aware of the anger on his face. He approached me and took the envelope from me and walks toward dad. He shows the photos to dad and tore them up in front of him.

"Look, dad. I have a lot of respect for you, and I tried to explain everything but you got mad at me right away. You don’t just know how many times, I’ve attempted to tell you about my relationship with Michelle. I tried dad... I tried... but by the time I’m ready to tell you about my relationship with Michelle, you will suddenly have an important appointment until your issue comes to Steve so I chose not to tell you because I know that’s what I am expecting you going to say to her. Just like how you love our mom, " Louis explained while turning his back on dad. Before he walked out the door Louis grabbed me by the shoulder and said, ’I’m sorry, Sebastian.’And then he walked out.

Louis left us inside dad’s office, while I saw dad looking at Louis’s torn photos.

"Dad? Are you okay? " I asked him.

Dad turned to me and approached me, patting my shoulder. "I’m tired, Sebastian. Maybe let’s just talk another time," he said and left his office. I could do nothing but sigh at the two of them.
