Billionaire's Pleasure-Chapter 112: New Character- Attracted
Gerald’s POV
As I ran my fingers through my hair and watched the team speed around the track, I tried to ignore the pulsating of my cell phone in my pocket. My soon-to-be ex-wife and her attorney were constantly harassing me during our divorce proceedings. I didn’t want to bring it up during practice. Having a professional football team in Philadelphia and demanding all of my money from me didn’t help either. What made you think I was a good target? Not me, but a player from Maryland, started up a friendship with her, not me. Because he was the team’s quarterback, he made a lot of money, so let him help her out. I sighed and glared at the phone’s screen in annoyance.
At the age of thirty-two, I married her, anxious to begin my coaching career after a brief stint in the professional ranks. Sharon, who was only ten years my junior, was a lovely brunette. I’m baffled as to why I had such high hopes for it. Maybe my expectations were too high. However, at least I had football, and despite my age (35), I was still in fantastic physical shape and could easily bring the girls into my bed for a few minutes of rebound fucking at any given time. To make the problem more apparent, I would only date women who were at least a decade older than myself.
My track trousers’ pockets were full with my phone, so I tucked it back in after taking a look at the sky and seeing that the sun was setting. "Okay, men, let’s get down to business. Let’s go back in! You didn’t do very well today, did you?" they yelled as they passed me by quickly. "You did not perform well today. I’m aware that Robin’s bachelor celebration was held last night, but please be reasonable. I don’t want to jeopardize our chances of winning the Super Bowl by behaving like a team of college players. Understand? "
They looked at each other for a long time before nodding in agreement. It wasn’t long before word got around league headquarters that there had been a wild party in an exclusive strip bar. The fiancée’s reaction worried me, but it wasn’t anything I could control. The fact that Rob was the quarterback of a team that generated millions of dollars could make her inclined to forget his blunders from the night. As the others echoed his apology, "Sorry, coach," I cast a quick glance at the quarterback and nodded firmly.
"Your adolescence was once my adolescence as well." I enjoyed myself, but I also had responsibilities to attend to. "I’ll see you tomorrow morning at 9 a.m." As I watched them make their way to the dressing room, I shook my head. As a result of the circumstances, I was generous with my time. It was also my belief at the time that I could begin my day by running. Everything about the divorce was making my mind spin.
The dressing room was near to my office, so I walked back there after the game. After finishing off my work for the day, I had intended to hit the gym. Afterward, I’d relax at home with a plate of BBQ and a bottle of wine.
After a few days, I was starting to feel comfortable naming this spot my permanent residence. The 10,000-square-foot palace that Sharon insisted on maintaining when we were married was purchased by me, but she was emphatic about preserving it. I borrowed a condo from a real estate agent acquaintance because I didn’t need the room. There was plenty of room for me in the three bedrooms. It was only fair that my Great Dane is allowed to accompany me, so I set him up in his own room. As a bonus, I had a neighbor kid who had more time than I had to take him out for walks on a daily basis.
As I approached the corner, I could hear the proprietor, Liam, and his daughter, Trina, having a conversation. Despite the fact that I had no idea why she was with him, he would occasionally drop by to see how things were progressing. First-year engineering student, I believe she was. Trina was rarely home when I visited for dinner because she was so preoccupied with school. "Gerald. What’s going on here?" Liam commented on the woman’s phone as he watched her type something into it. Trina’s light honey-colored hair and beautiful blue eyes made her an attractive girl, even though she didn’t do much with herself. She was too young to really be thinking about it, and before I even looked over at her father, she saw me and looked up at me.
"Good." As I said, Trina’s eyes seared into my skin, "I sent the squad home for some rest today, and I’ll train them again tomorrow."
When Trina asked about the occasion, Liam responded with a cautious look, "I heard things got rowdy." He caressed her shoulder as she returned to her phone with a wave of his hand.
"In my opinion, there was little to worry about." Trina’s lack of wildness and passion at a bachelor party didn’t bother me because she didn’t convey the sense that she would be. After a year of ownership of the team, Liam’s only daughter was clearly his princess. His wife’s compassion for her, which I knew would eventually backfire, was also on my mind.
That Sharon and I never had a family was something I was grateful for. As we resumed our small talk, I couldn’t help but steal looks at Trina. The tight pants and body-hugging top she was wearing piqued my interest in what she looked like below. Because she wore glasses most of the time, she appeared to be working on a problem at all times. Despite his please, I couldn’t help but notice how much she resembled her gorgeous young mother. Because I couldn’t figure out why I was having issues. Even though she was just twenty-one, I could tell that we had a connection. Hasn’t my marriage taught me a thing or two? Losing my well-paying job, which would have allowed me to afford my divorce and keep my quality of living, was an absolute lock.
I entered my office and wiped the desk while the image of her eyes replayed in my mind. Sorry, I didn’t need this distraction, but she implored me to unveil her evil side with just one glance. Once the computer was shut down, I made a phone call to the locker room to let the guys know it was time to rest. Don’t booze, please. It felt like someone was watching me as I made my way to the garage and climbed into my car. After a quick glance to see them off, I waved to Trina and her father with a kind grin. I needed a basic female companion and access to a gym. I glanced in the mirror one last time before heading out of the gym. Women flocked to me because I was a gorgeous man with green eyes and a mop of unruly hair. I took care of my body and ate healthy 90% of the time to ensure that I was in peak physical condition. I appeared to have it all together, but my inner thoughts were a little jumbled and disoriented.
There was a waitress at the restaurant that had a crush on me, so I decided to order it and flirt my way through it. I imagined she was well into her twenties because she appeared to be in good health. There were no questions in her mind about how to proceed, as she had done so before. Being a college student, Lisa wasn’t looking for anything serious. Without asking for anyone’s help, she was resolved to get her psychology degree and sustain herself. She was just doing it because she had fun and was insane enough to do it again.
