Chapter 781: Chapter 652 I Don’t Mean That Kind of Like (1)

Yi Luowa tightened her grip on the phone. "Mom, what’s wrong?"

"I found blood on Danton’s bedsheet!"

Yi Luowa’s body jolted. "Danton’s sick?!"

"No!" Queen Haotian sighed. "I heard from the servant that the bedsheet was secretly taken to the laundry by An Yang. Then I checked last night’s surveillance—An Yang entered Danton’s room at 9 PM and came out this morning at 6 AM holding the bedsheet."

Yi Luowa angrily kicked the sofa. "Danton is really asking for it!"

"He probably knew I’d give him an earful for this, so he ran off with An Yang."

Yi Luowa’s heart leapt to her throat. "Ran off again?"

"He left a note saying he took the earliest train to your place. An Yang got into college, didn’t she? Danton had promised her that if she passed, he’d take her to visit you for a few days. I couldn’t stop them."

Yi Luowa huffed angrily. "Good, let him come. I’ll deal with him."

"That’s exactly what I wanted to tell you. When Danton gets there, you sort him out. This is completely unacceptable!"

"Yes, I’ll definitely handle it. Mom, should we tell Aunt Shui Hui about this?"

"I can’t bring myself to say it."

"Then let them explain it themselves."

"These wasteful kids!" Queen Haotian grumbled furiously.

Yi Luowa pressed her lips together. "Mom, don’t be mad. When Danton gets here, I’ll hit him for you."

Queen Haotian let out a long sigh. "Not being mad is impossible. He’s grown so much but still hasn’t learned how to behave."

Yi Luowa glanced sideways at Tong Airui, a glint flashing in her eyes. "Mom, I’m hanging up for now. I’m going to send you something."

Yi Luowa hung up the phone and aimed her phone at Tong Airui. "Honey, look at me."

Tong Airui tugged their daughter’s little hand and turned to his wife. "You’re planning to use my tragedy to cheer up your mom?"

"Work with me here." Yi Luowa clicked the camera shutter a few times.

After she was done, Tong Airui frowned. "Danton pissed off Mom again?"

"I’ll explain later." Yi Luowa sent the photos to her mother.

Before long, Queen Haotian called back. "Haha... these naughty kids. If this weren’t your room, I wouldn’t have recognized Airui!"

"Ai Ni came back a few days ago and taught Sangyu how to do makeup. Now she’s obsessed and keeps drawing on Zi Xi’s face. I’m worried the makeup might harm Zi Xi’s skin, so their dad’s face..."

"Haha... Airui’s skin is still baby-soft! What old face? If he hears you say that, won’t he scold you?"

Yi Luowa glanced at Tong Airui, who was already walking towards her, and quickly shouted, "He’s coming over, Mom, save me!"

"Haha..." Queen Haotian’s laughter echoed through the phone.

"Sangyu, Ziyan, Zi Xi, come save Mommy... What are you doing? You’re smearing it all over my face!"

"Save Mommy!" Zi Xi toddled over on her short little legs.

After rubbing the colorful mess on his wife’s face, Tong Airui snatched Yi Luowa’s phone.

When Sangyu and Ziyan also ran over, Airui laughed, "Alright, you three little monsters, come and talk to Grandma."

"Blue~" Zi Xi stretched her tiny hand toward the phone in her dad’s hand.

"Say Grandma!"

Zi Xi pouted and looked at her dad. "My blue!"

"Good little one~" Queen Haotian chuckled. "Grandma is your ’blue’? Did you draw on Daddy’s face?"

"Mhm, it looks so nice!" The three children babbled around their dad, chattering happily with Grandma.

Tong Airui listened for a while. Once he was sure his mother-in-law’s temper had subsided, he hung up the call with a smile.

"You three, sit still. Dad’s putting on a cartoon for you." Tong Airui settled the children and pulled his wife into the bathroom. "What happened?"

Yi Luowa used a wet wipe to clean his face. "Danton and An Yang slept together."

"Pfft, Danton really outdid himself!"

Yi Luowa poked his face. "And you can still laugh? An Yang’s only seventeen—she’s not even an adult yet."

"It’s mutual."

"But how do we tell Aunt Shui Hui?"

"Tell her what? There’s no need to say anything. It’s not like sleeping together can make them have a baby anyway."

Yi Luowa glared at him.

Tong Airui smiled and pinched her nose. "Alright, calm down. Don’t blow up yourself after just soothing Mom. What time are they arriving? I’ll have someone pick them up."

"The earliest train."

Tong Airui glanced at his watch. "Then it’s about time to go."

Yi Luowa pouted. "When he gets here, you have to talk some sense into him with me."

"Alright, I’ll break one of his legs first." Tong Airui chuckled and dialed Dapeng’s number.
