Yi Luowa was taken aback, then shook her head with a smile, "No, I have class tomorrow."

"You don’t have class tomorrow afternoon." Kou’er glanced at her, "The meetup starts in the afternoon, only two hours. We’ll finish in time to come back and have dinner. I heard from Huzi that it’s pretty entertaining."

"You want to go? I heard it’s just a matchmaking event. Isn’t it a bit early for you to be attending?" Yi Luowa looked at her, amused.

Kou’er pouted, "I’m just going to see what’s happening. Does ’checking out the scene’ have a time limit?"

"If it’s just to check out the scene, then let’s skip it. No need to trouble your family." Yi Luowa struggled to hold back her laughter and quickly averted her gaze.

Kou’er let out a sulky "oh," and muttered, "Sister Luowa, do you have anything else to do?"

"Nope, you can go rest now." Yi Luowa waved her off quickly without daring to look at her.

As soon as Kou’er left the room, Yi Luowa burst into laughter.

Connie ran into Kou’er at the door, who was pouting as she greeted her.

Connie glanced at Tong Aino suspiciously and whispered, "Who pissed off that girl?"

"Her sister-in-law, obviously. Didn’t you hear the laughter from inside?" Tong Aino chuckled and shook her head.

When Connie walked in, Yi Luowa was clutching her stomach.

"You two are back! Haha... I laughed so hard my stomach hurts."

"You were teasing Kou’er again, weren’t you?" Connie asked with an amused smile.

Yi Luowa tried hard to suppress her laughter, "That girl insisted I take her to tomorrow’s meetup. I bet she’s taken a liking to Brother Yuan Hang and is afraid someone else might snatch him away."

"No way! I heard from Qing’er she’s always bickering with Yuan Hang..."

Before Connie could finish, Yi Luowa laughed, "I just realized it today. Brother Yuan Hang got slapped by someone earlier, and Kou’er’s reaction was bigger than anyone else’s..."

"Yuan Hang got slapped!" Tong Aino asked in surprise, "Who would dare to slap him?"

"Some young girl said he was staring at her chest, haha... *cough cough*..." Yi Luowa stopped mid-laugh as she heard footsteps from upstairs. She quickly stopped smiling and looked at Tong Aino seriously, "I heard your Yun Jin has taken a liking to our Kou’er?"

Tong Aino glanced upstairs and said with a smile, "Yun Jin did mention it to me. Sister-in-law, if you get a chance, can you bring it up with Kou’er? If she’s not against it, we can help them along."

Yuan Hang hesitated for a moment before slowing down his steps.

Yi Luowa nodded with a grin, "Sure! No sense in letting a good match slip away. I’ll ask her tomorrow."

Yuan Hang quickened his pace as he came downstairs. After greeting the three of them, he hurried out the door.

Yi Luowa laughed, "From the looks of it, it’s not just Kou’er who likes Brother Yuan Hang. Brother Yuan Hang seems to like her too. Did you see his face when we brought it up? He turned all dark! Haha... And to think these two were right under my nose, and I didn’t even notice."

"If Yuan Hang really does like Kou’er, doesn’t that mean Yun Jin might be in trouble?" Connie asked nervously, glancing at Tong Aino.

Tong Aino laughed, "Ah, he won’t be in trouble. At most, he’d just get scolded. Maybe I should start finding a match for Yun Jin too."

"They’re all at the age where it’s time to settle down," Connie nodded in agreement.

"I’ll leave that to you then. Find someone suitable for him at the company," Tong Aino patted her on the shoulder and turned to Yi Luowa, "Sister-in-law, where’s Grandma?"

"Upstairs playing mahjong," Yi Luowa said while rubbing her stomach, "I’m feeling a bit hungry. I’ll go see what’s for dinner."

Connie covered her smile, "You’ve been saying you’re hungry a lot these days. Could it be you’re eating for two?"

Yi Luowa froze, "I don’t get it. What does that mean?"

Tong Aino laughed, "My wife is saying you’re pregnant."

"The safety measures we’ve taken are impeccable. That’s absolutely impossible!" Yi Luowa said while glancing at Connie’s stomach, "What about you? Are you expecting?"

Connie smiled and shook her head, "We’re already planning for it."

"Oh wow, I really have to thank the two of you then! Otherwise, the pressure on me would’ve been huge." Yi Luowa beamed and clenched her fists, "Good luck!"

"Not yet. I’ll start ’trying’ when I get back from Raman." Connie giggled.

"You’re going back to get your degree certificate?"
