Chapter 361: Chapter 320 You’re Going to Scare the Baby to Death! (Second Update)

Tong Airui hurriedly slapped his hand away, "Stop messing around, people will recognize us."

"It’s a pretty good pair of sunglasses, I’m just afraid they’ll drop on the ground again." Mi Chenxuan chuckled, his gaze falling behind Tong Airui.

"Thump, thump, thump..." The sound of hurried footsteps came from behind. Tong Airui was about to turn around when a pair of small hands suddenly appeared around his waist.

Yi Luowa dashed forward with momentum, crashing into Tong Airui and making him stagger. The sunglasses perched on his nose flew off instantly.

Mi Chenxuan was prepared; he caught the sunglasses with one swift move and said playfully, "See? I told you so, but you just wouldn’t believe me."

Tong Airui shot him a dark glance, and Mi Chenxuan quickly helped put the sunglasses back on him.

"Hubby, I missed you so much! Spotting you right after getting off the plane is just wonderful!" Yi Luowa hugged his waist and twirled to face him, tilting her head up to look at Tong Airui, whose lips were pulled into a frown. She exclaimed in surprise, "Darling, I was only gone for three days, how did you get even more handsome?"

"Don’t see the handsome—just noticed you’ve gotten skinnier." Tong Aino walked over with a smile, "Brother, didn’t Connie come to pick you up with you?"

"You’re off enjoying yourself while Connie’s been running the company for you, not even resting on weekends. You still expect her to have time to come pick you up?" Tong Airui was still annoyed and ready to snap at anyone, though he wouldn’t dare snap at his little wife.

"Hubby—" Connie ran over, panting for breath. "Good thing I made it."

Tong Airui’s mouth twitched—a slap straight to the face! Couldn’t she have shown up a little later?

Tong Aino laughed and pulled Connie into his arms, "Look at you, all sweaty from running around. You’ve worked hard these past few days. Once we’re home, I’ll make it up to you."

Yi Luowa smirked at them, "Enough of the mushy stuff—let’s go home."

"Home? Did I say you could go yet?" Tong Airui asked gravely.

"Oh right, my husband hasn’t given his order yet!" Yi Luowa playfully linked arms with him. "Hubby, I just want to go home and pamper you."

The eyes hidden behind Tong Airui’s sunglasses gleamed with amusement, but his face stayed stern. "Stop with the silly grins! Just wait until we’re alone—see how I deal with you then!"

"Would you really?" Yi Luowa teased, shaking his arm, "Darling, I won another championship!"

"Look at you, so smug!" Tong Airui jabbed her forehead in mock irritation.

Yi Luowa pouted, letting go of Tong Airui’s hand, and turned to Mi Chenxuan. "Chenxuan, let’s go home—I got you a gift."

"Oh? What’d you bring back for me?" Mi Chenxuan asked with a grin.

"All your favorites!" Yi Luowa tossed Tong Airui a triumphant look before chatting and laughing with Mi Chenxuan as they headed for the exit.

Tong Aino caught Connie’s eye, and the two hurried to catch up with Yi Luowa and Mi Chenxuan.

Tong Airui was briefly left frozen in place, abandoned right there at the airport!

Halfway through, Tong Aino stopped, feeling a bit guilty, and called back, "Hurry up!"

Tong Airui hesitated, then strode after them. If his wife truly got mad, he’d be stuck eating vegetarian tonight—definitely not a good outcome. The Fourth Lord felt a twinge of regret; after all her coaxing earlier, he’d kept up a cold front, and now he’d have to shamelessly chase after her.

Just as Yi Luowa was about to get into Connie’s car, Tong Airui grabbed her. "I drove here."

"I wanted to chat with Connie." Yi Luowa replied blankly, her expression giving away no emotion.

"Tong Aino’s been gone for three days—you won’t leave them some space?" Tong Airui gently squeezed her hand.

Yi Luowa pursed her lips and got into his car.

Mi Chenxuan sat in the passenger seat. As they got in, he said without turning around, "Do whatever you two want—I’ve been seeing things and hearing things lately, so everything’s a blur to me."

"I have nothing to say to him!" Yi Luowa pouted, grumbling, "I was gone for three days, and he didn’t even call me once."

"I was busy." Tong Airui replied, lacking confidence.

Yuan Hang chuckled. "I can vouch for my Fourth Lord—he’s been working late every day, basically living at the office. Today’s the first time he’s had time to come home."

Yi Luowa shot him a glance. "Just drive your car—don’t think I don’t know how you and Tong Airui are like two peas in a pod!"

"I didn’t call you, but couldn’t you have called me?" Tong Airui asked, displeased.

"You were the one who didn’t want me to go to the competition, so nope—no calls from me!" Yi Luowa sulked, tossing her phone to Tong Airui.

The phone screen was utterly shattered!

"What happened to your phone?" Tong Airui asked, puzzled.

"Dropped it as soon as I got off the plane." Yi Luowa fumed, staring out the window. "It’s divine intervention—heaven doesn’t want me to call you either."

Tong Airui’s mouth twitched. "I’ll get you a new one when we’re home."

"I wouldn’t dare trouble you." Yi Luowa’s pout grew deeper.

"You disobeyed me, snuck off—you should think *I* would be the one angry here, no? How come you’re the one throwing a fit?" Tong Airui ruffled her hair vigorously.

"In the airport lounge, didn’t I coax you enough? Just look at yourself! Anyway, I’m mad now—so deal with it."

Tong Airui helplessly pulled her into his arms. "Don’t be mad anymore. I heard this time your prize money was quite a lot. Why don’t you treat us all to a meal?"

"Sorry—no mood... Mm!"

Before Yi Luowa could finish, Tong Airui kissed her on the lips.

Yi Luowa began swatting at him—it would’ve killed her from embarrassment if people saw them in the car!

Mi Chenxuan, hearing something unusual, hastily adjusted the rearview mirror. Seeing the two passionately entangled in the reflection, he pursed his lips into a sheepish smile.

Yuan Hang shot him a warning look, then pressed a button, raising the partition to divide the cabin in two.

"Miss me?" Tong Airui asked.

"Yes."

"Still planning to sneak off in the future?"

Yi Luowa shook her head. "I’ll leave openly next time—ahhhhh Tong Airui, if you bite me again I’ll kick you out! Mmph!"

Mi Chenxuan nudged Yuan Hang lightly and whispered, "Brother Yuan Hang, you listen to all this every day—how do you stand it?"

"Do I hear anything?" Yuan Hang laughed, glancing at him.

Mi Chenxuan smirked, shaking his head. "Nope, nothing at all."

On the car ride, Tong Airui got his fill of satisfaction. By the time they got out, he seemed much less annoyed.

The car had barely stopped when Tong Aino approached. "Brother, dinner’s on me tonight—everyone’s going out to eat."

Tong Airui gave him a look. "Lost the competition and still in such a good mood?"

Tong Aino glared back. "I didn’t lose to anyone else—family wins are still wins."

Yi Luowa grimaced. "Such nice words now! You should’ve seen his sour face when he lost to me. If I hadn’t given him all the prize money, he probably wouldn’t even talk to me right now."

Mi Chenxuan came closer. "Fourth Sister-in-law, how much was the prize money this time?"

"Five million US dollars." Tong Aino held up five fingers, waving them smugly in front of Mi Chenxuan. "Enough for us brothers to live off forever."

Mi Chenxuan gave him a disdainful look. "Look at you grinning ear to ear! Do you even lack money?"

"Of course I do! I don’t even have any private savings now." Tong Aino whined, throwing an arm around Mi Chenxuan’s shoulder. "Eighth Brother, Fifth Brother tells you—when you look for a wife in the future, never marry someone who studied finance or accounting."

"What are you saying?" Connie walked up, smiling sweetly at Tong Aino.

Tong Aino quickly waved his hands. "Nothing—didn’t say a thing."
