Chapter 224: Cosmic Being

Everyone had their throats caught in their chests.

The sight was surreal.

All around, were gigantic translucent circular and spherical bubbles, each one having billions of trillions of shiny stars and galaxies of different shapes, sizes and colours.

Enveloping each one was a gigantic gas cloud which mirrored the hues of the bubble barriers that contained these galaxies.

How many people could be said to have seen what their universe looked like?

Not many, a very small number even on the scale of a universe and its hundreds of billions of light years.

The zoom continued until the sheer enormity of their universe was laid bare before them—a sight few beings had ever witnessed.

Billions of stars, planets, and galaxies all encased in a breath-taking vista of cosmic wonder.

But it didn’t end there.

The panning continued further still, as more and more galaxies appeared, all part of an unending stream of light.

Then, at last, the vision expanded to reveal the true scope of Jamie’s Domain—not just one universe, but hundreds of them.

Universes layered upon universes, each one an enormous orb of light, encased in mists of swirling cosmic energy. Each orb contained an uncountable number of galaxies, spirals of creation and destruction locked in an eternal dance.

In the middle of this fantastical expanse, Jamie floated in the air with his hands crossed behind his back as he called out the name of his Domain.

||Cosmos||

Irenot stood frozen, his mind struggling to process the overwhelming reality in front of him. The sheer magnitude of what he was witnessing, the layers of galaxies and universes stretching endlessly in Jamie’s Domain, was beyond anything he could fathom.

He gaped in shock, utterly dumbfounded, as his thoughts ground to a halt under the weight of incomprehensible information.

Jamie, however, had no intention of waiting for him to understand it.

Cosmic energy swirled in his hand and he condensed that energy into an orb, a miniature representation of the moon where Irenot now stood, helpless and bewildered.

In that same instant, the fabric of space itself bent to Jamie’s will. It warped and folded, coalescing into the shape of a colossal arm construct, an ethereal extension of Jamie’s Authority.

The arm reached out with terrifying speed and grasped the moon upon which Irenot stood. Realizing what was happening, Irenot tried to escape, but he was far too slow.

Jamie first snapped his fingers to teleport Glox off the moon.

The giant arm clamped around the moon, and as Jamie clenched his fist, the arm mimicked his action, squeezing the moon with a powerful force.

The entire moon groaned under the pressure. The surface cracked, fissures spreading like spiderwebs, and in the next moment, it imploded with a deafening roar.

An immense explosion ripped through space, releasing a shockwave that reverberated across the planets.

Massive chunks of rock and debris were pulverized into cosmic dust, and in the heart of it all, Irenot’s body was torn apart, disintegrating into nothingness.

The Space Beast Lord was no more.

As the debris scattered into the void, a profound stillness filled the space around Jamie.

|Deity Level: 100>>>101|

The moment the number on Jamie’s Deity Level changed, all the ambient cosmic energy in the area surged towards Jamie, as if the universe had been waiting for this moment.

It came at him with a force so overwhelming, it was like a dam had burst, and the cosmic energy was the flood, eager—overjoyed—to finally enter Jamie’s body.

Jamie’s body became enveloped in a cocoon of blinding light. Inside, the cosmic energy began to transform him, every molecule of his being reformed, reconstructed—and returned to its default state.

His Origin Cores and assimilated laws were unlocked and the well of Cosmic energy within him was filled up.

For a moment, Jamie’s body was lost in the light, his form completely obscured. Then, as the brilliance began to fade, Jamie emerged, looking outwardly the same as he had before.

But anyone who understood the difference between a normal existence and a Cosmic Superior existence knew that Jamie was clearly not the same.

Cosmic superiority wasn’t just about manipulating cosmic energy. One would literally become a Higher Life Form.

Space itself shimmered and fluctuated, as though struggling to contain Jamie’s presence and for a fleeting moment, those watching—Lapis and the others—couldn’t perceive Jamie fully.

It was as though parts of him were flickering in and out of existence, his body phasing into dimensions their eyes couldn’t track.

’Hahaha, it’s been a while, this feeling.’

Jamie himself felt the difference immediately. His gaze, though directed forward, gave him the sense of looking down on all things.

His eyes could see through space and perceive things light years away—the spirals of stars, the orbits of planets, the intricate dance of light and gravity.

But he quickly snapped his vision back to normal and refocused his eyes on the remaining Space Beasts that had been immobilized as he had not permitted them to move in his domain.

"Well, let’s take all the EXP I can get."

He moved his hands and the ’stars’ in his Domain fell.

Each one of the miniature stars was a concentrated orb of searing cosmic energy and they descended on the remaining Space Beasts below.

The stars hit their targets with precision, and explosions tore through the void as they crashed into the space beasts, obliterating every last one in a burst of cosmic flames.

Jamie watched as their forms disintegrated, with each kill sending waves of EXP towards him to boost his Deity Level even further.

Finally, when the last space beast was reduced to ashes, Jamie deactivated his domain.

The stars, the galaxies, the infinite light—they all vanished.

In the blink of an eye, the grand spectacle of the Cosmos faded, and the space around them returned to its original state: the vacuum of space, just outside Planet Gnocyl Prime.

"Finally."

Jamie muttered under his breath as he opened his status.

Jamie smiled as he saw that three of his Ultimate Skills had returned. His Imperial Privileges, something that was temporarily reduced to the level of a Unique Skill due to his power loss had now returned to where it rightfully belonged.

In a way, Jamie’s Imperial Privileges were just about one of the most broken Ultimate Skills out there. It was at least in the top 5.

Each of these ’Privileges’ was powerful enough to be an Ultimate Skill in its own right.

’Imperial Privileges’ was formed by Jamie combining multiple Unique Esoteric Authorities, from laws which he had reached at least advanced mastery in both their Positive and Negative applications.

There were five Privileges, and each one was from a law tied directly to a Major concept of the Cosmos.

First-Creation

Second-Space

Third-Reality

Fourth-Time

Fifth-Destruction

Despite being the ’Second’ Privilege, ’Space’ was the most powerful of the five...for rather obvious reasons.

Following right behind was Destruction, then Reality, Time and lastly, Creation.

Certain laws were intertwined with each other, and to proceed in comprehending them, one needed to comprehend the law they were intertwined with.

Take the laws of Space and Time for example.

One would get to a certain level of Spatial Comprehension where they couldn’t go further unless they had at least a Basic Rank Time Authority.

It was inevitable.

Gravity was also one. You couldn’t progress past certain stages in gravity without Basic Spatial and Temporal Authorities, after all, Gravity was the curvature of space and time.

Depending on the level you reached, the Rank of Authority required increased.
