Chapter 100: Chapter 99

He had long since lost track of time. Minutes, hours, days—none of it mattered anymore. All he knew was that they never let him stand, never allowed him to retain even a shred of dignity. Instead, they made him crawl like a worm, dragging his body across the cold floor as they lashed at him with whips, floggers, and canes, their laughter echoing in the darkness. The beatings were constant, brutal, and unrelenting, and the things they made him do... his stomach churned anytime he remembered.

He tried to fight the first few times but they were stronger and they beat him to an inch of his life. He really thought he was going to die.

At the beginning, he refused to beg. They wanted him to beg for mercy. They wanted him to cry but he refused, fiercely holding on to his pride. He was a man.

A man.

He would not bow down in submission to another man. Not like his friends who had no backbone. To escape the torment, they begged and cried like sissies. They allowed themselves to be used but no. Not him.

That was how he used to think but they beat those thoughts right out of his brain. He didn’t even know when he started to plead for mercy. He asked why they were torturing him. He asked why they felt he deserved such treatment. He held on to their legs, crying and begging but the beatings never stopped. It wasn’t until they had their fill that they reminded him of all the things he did to them back in high-school. Every single thing. Even the ones he had long forgotten and the ones he couldn’t remember. The way he had bullied and tortured them for his own pleasure. Just because they were gay.

That was when Sora stopped resisting. He stopped fighting back for in his heart, he knew he deserved every bit of this hell.

He was the architect of his own suffering, the villain in his own story.

As they always say, karma is a bitch.

The sound of a bell ringing fished him out of his thoughts and he looked towards the door where a small part, large enough to fit his head was opened. A bowl of food was kept just slightly out of reach.

Slowly, he crawled towards the door and poked his head out towards the bowl of food. It was just rice congee but at least it was fresh and it smelled good. The space in the door was only large enough to fit his head so he couldn’t eat with his hands. Sora forcefully swallowed down the bitter humiliation of being treated as a dog and slurped the congee. He eagerly lapped it up for he was extremely starving.

"Well, well, well, these guys sure know how to train you dogs." He heard a very familiar voice chuckle, the tone dripping with mockery.

Sora’s heart sank as the voice echoed in the dimly lit corridor. He was immediately filled with extreme shame and anger. It was the voice of the very person who put him in this situation.

Yamato Raiden.

"You bastard!" Sora gritted, craning his neck to pin Raiden a horrid glare. His fists clenched against the cold hard floor. If he could move, he would give the evil man a solid punch on the face. "How could you do this to me! We had a truce! I left you two alone! I didn’t say anything to Hiro! Why?! Why bring me here?!"

"Why?" Raiden sneered, his eyes falling on Sora’s black and blue face. What an eyesore. He raised his leg and directly kicked Sora’s face.

Blood spurted from Sora’s mouth as he groaned from the pain. He wanted to quickly retract his head but Raiden pinned his head down under his foot causing Sora to hiss in pain for his bruises hadn’t healed and Raiden’s shoe was grinding on them. Tears sprang in his eyes but he gritted his teeth, refusing to let them fall.

Raiden chuckled, drawing pleasure from Sora’s pain. "You still have the nerve to ask me why." He said, adding more pressure which made Sora groan in pain. "If you’ve forgotten all the things you did to me, how about I give your head a little beating to jog your memory?"

Sora paled, his breath hitching in his throat as terror gripped him. The thought of enduring more pain made his entire body tremble. "I’m sorry!" he cried out, his voice cracking with desperation. "D-Don’t hurt me, please!"

Raiden’s response was chilling. His voice, cold and curt, sliced through the air like a blade. "Oh, I remember saying the same words to you, Sora," he said, each word laced with venom. "Did you let me go?"

Raiden’s glare was menacing, his smokey grey eyes seemed completely dark as they narrowed, devoid of any warmth or mercy. The icy stare bore into Sora, making him feel smaller than he already was. There was no hint of pity in Raiden’s expression, only a dark satisfaction as he watched the fear in Sora’s eyes grow.

Sora could remember doing the same thing to Raiden. He could remember pressing harder and harder on Raiden’s head even as Raiden begged him to let him go. Raiden had cried and pleaded until his voice went hoarse but Sora and his friends didn’t show him any mercy.

Now, the roles were reversed, and Sora could feel the full weight of the torment he had inflicted upon Raiden in the past.

Sora didn’t answer for there was nothing he could say.

"You tormented me all because I’m gay and I was interested in your brother." Raiden said, pressing down on Sora’s head harder. "Hiro liked me initially but you fed him lies about me and tore us apart from each other. I bet you forced him to delete my contact back then and block me on social media, didn’t you?"

Sora didn’t talk so Raiden kicked his head again. "Answer me!"

"Yes! Yes I did!" Sora admitted, groaning in pain. "What did you expect me to do?! He was liking you too much! You were going to turn him like you! You were going to make him a fucking fa-"

His head was smacked down by Raiden’s foot again, cutting him off. "I dare you to finish that word." Raiden growled.

Sora gritted his teeth but he didn’t finish it. Instead, he said; "I could not stand by and watch you make my brother gay."

Raiden scoffed. "You cannot just make someone gay, you idiot. You knew Hiro naturally liked men so you purposely brainwashed him and made him see relationships between men as an abomination."

"Because that is what it is!" Sora spat. "It is an abomination!"

"Then why did you do it?" Raiden asked.

Sora was stunned. He glared at Raiden. "What are you talking about?"

Raiden chuckled lowly. "You think you could hide it? We all knew what sorts of acts you indulged in back then. How you kept a secret male lover throughout your last year of high-school and even the first half of college."

Sora shuddered, realising his secret was already out. Still, he pretended he wasn’t affected. "So what? That was just a mistake."

"A mistake?" Raiden laughed. "You hypocrite. You fucked a guy for 3 years and you call it a mistake?" ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
