Beginning Of Multiverse Saga-Chapter 77: Family Tradition
The lively atmosphere resonated with joy.
"Hello, everyone, I have important information to share with you," Stephen announced, capturing the attention of the guests.
The room hushed as all eyes focused on them. "Sharky, come here," Stephen beckoned, and Sharky followed him to the center.
"He is going to be my son-in-law. I am marrying both my daughters, Sophia and Rosie, to him next month. Please remember to join us," Stephen declared, dropping a bombshell that left everyone stunned.
Marrying both daughters to the same person was unexpected, but the shock was met with cheers and applause. Since it was the Alexander family, no one has the guts to complain about them.
Amidst the cheers and congratulations, the birthday celebration reached its conclusion.
Emily, a close friend, expressed, "May your love be as enduring as the stars, Rosie and Sophia."
Jake, another friend, raised his glass, saying, "To the harmony of two souls becoming one."
Linda, a colleague, shared her wishes, "I hope your marriage will be a garden of love, with each day blossoming into a new and beautiful flower."
The guests extended their heartfelt blessings, creating a special moment for Rosie and Sophia amid the festivities.
After her wedding congratulations, Rosie’s Cake Cutting Ceremony became the highlight of the celebration.
A beautifully adorned cake took center stage and her families gathered around, to cheer for her.
Rosie, with a beaming smile, held the knife, ready to cut the first slice. "Here’s to another amazing year!"
The room erupted with cheers and clapping as the knife smoothly sliced through the birthday cake.
As the first piece was lifted, Rosie made a charming gesture.
"I want to share the sweetness of the first bite with my future husband," she said with a shy smile.
Holding a fork with a piece of cake, she approached Sharky. "Husband, taste the first bite of my cake."
"Of course, my love," Sharky replied warmly. He leaned in and took the bite from her fork, the audience watching the sweet moment with admiration.
Then, looking into her eyes, Sharky gently held her face. "Since I’ve tasted the cake, it’s only fair that I savor the one who gave it."
He pulled her into a warm embrace and pressed his lips against hers. The kiss, soft at first, deepened into a passionate French kiss as everyone watched in awe, some smiling, others blushing.
When their kiss finally ended, Rosie turned to her father, holding out the second bite of the cake. "Dad, thank you for always being my pillar of strength."
Stephen accepted it with a proud smile, placing a hand on her head. "May each year bring you more wisdom and joy, Rosie."
Then she walked to her mother, Alexa, and offered her the next piece. "Mom, you’ve made every day of my life brighter."
Alexa took the bite with a teary smile and kissed Rosie on the cheek. "Wishing you a future filled with love and success, my dear."
Moving towards Sylvie, Rosie gave a forkful with a warm hug, expressing, "Thank you for the love you’ve poured into our family."
Sylvie embraced her back, saying, "May your heart be as full as this room, darling."
She then gives the piece of cake to her grandfather, "Grandpa, your wisdom is my guiding light."
He chuckled and ruffled her hair affectionately, smiling warmly, and gave her the blessings. Rosie then offered the piece of cake to Seraphina, and then Elara, her both grandmothers, while they gave her the blessings.
At last, Rosie turned toward her sister. "Sister, thank you for always being there for me. Without you, I don’t know how I’d manage."
"It’s okay, dear," Sophia said warmly, gently patting her hair. "After all, I’ll still be taking care of you, even after our wedding."
Finally, as the birthday celebration came to an end, the room was filled with laughter, joy, and the warmth of family.
Surrounded by love and blessings, Rosie knew this birthday would always be unforgettable.
With the guests gone and the house quiet, the Alexander family gathered in the meeting room.
It was time to reveal a long-held family secret.
Sophia’s grandfather and father sat with serious expressions, fully aware of how important — and delicate — the conversation ahead would be.
Hawkins Alexander took a deep breath before speaking. "My dear family, we’ve gathered here today to talk about something very important."
Alexa stepped in gently, "We are the protectors of a powerful legacy — the power of the Emperor Demi-humans."
"Emperor Demi-humans?" Sophia echoed, glancing at Sharky. "Yes, Sharky already told me about them. I’ve gained those powers."
Had it not been Rosie’s birthday today, Sophia would have already learned everything about her Emperor Demi-human heritage.
Elara added with a calm but serious tone, "Emperor Demi-humans are born with rare abilities, but with those powers come great responsibilities."
Hawkins glanced briefly at Sharky, then looked back at Sophia. "This has always been part of our family — a legacy passed down through generations. It’s our tradition and heritage."
He continued, "Our family tradition is unlike any other normal family, Sophia. In our family, every generation, the husband and wife are biological siblings."
"Yes, Sharky tells me a little about it in the morning," Sophia nodded.
Elara continued, "Seraphina and I are real sisters, and Hawkins is our brother. But Hawkins has also become our husband, as part of our family tradition. Your mother, Alexa, was the result of my and Hawkin’s union during our honeymoon."
Seraphina continued, "And my union with Hawkins resulted in your father, Stephen, and your aunt, Sylvie." She blushed slightly, adding to the unconventional nature of the family’s story.
Alexa confessed, "And your father and I had you and Rosie. While with Sylvie, your third sister, Evanthe was conceived. She’s been on a mission, but she’ll be returning in the next one or two years."
Elara chimed in, "So, in each generation, siblings become husbands and wives to ensure that these unique powers continue flowing, as we are only able to have three children in each generation."
"I knew about it, but I just want to know about our powers," Sophia asked.
Hawkins continued, "Our powers are unique, Sophia. Males in our family are born with the power of Teleportation."
He demonstrated this by teleporting around the room before sitting back down in his chair. "However, there’s also a tradition to enhance our powers, which I will explain when you reach the right time."
Sylvie continued, "Females are born with the power of Instant Regeneration." She demonstrated the Instant Regeneration by making a cut on her hand, which instantly healed. "And whenever the female has only one power, they are destined to bear only one child, like me."
Alexa demonstrated her powers by manipulating time, showcasing her ability by mending after breaking a teacup. "Our next power is Time Manipulation. I was born with both Time Manipulation and Instant Regeneration. So, I can give birth to two children."
Sophia took in the information about her family’s unique powers and traditions, "I understand now, Mom, Dad, Aunt Sylvie, Grandpa, Grandma, and Second Grandma."
"We are Emperor Demi-humans with three incredible types of powers, each residing in every child. And since we were children, you kept this information secret from us. Rosie was also kept in the dark about it, right."
Sylvie gently caressed Sophia’s face, her expression a mix of love and guilt. She said, "No, my child. Rosie and Evanthe have known about our family tradition from childhood. It’s only you who has been kept in the dark."
"Why?" Sophia asks, hearing that only she was kept in the dark, while Rosie and Evanthe know about it.
"Well it was related to a mistake," Alexa said, she was looking at Sophia, she didn’t know how to continue it.
"Mistake? What mistake happened?" She asked.
"Well, since you know, in every generation one male and two female, or two female and one male born," Sylvie said.
"Yes, so what?" Sophia asked, then she quickly realized that in her generation, there was not any male born.
Although she was happy about knowing it, that not any male born in her generation, when Sharky told her.
But now, she has started to think, if not any male was born, then how will their generation advance?
"Mom, are you trying to say, the birth of us sisters was a mistake?" She asked.
"Yes baby," Sylvie nodded, she continued, "When Stephen was busy making me and Alexa Pregnant, that’s time, we made a mistake, which resulted in your birth as a female instead of a male."
"What?" Sophia asked in the shocking tone, "And how you all are confirmed, that I need to be born male. Why not Sophia and Rosie."
"Well dear, you don’t know, but Evanthe is your elder sister. She is one year older than you. And when Sylvie gives birth to Evanthe, she possesses both Time Manipulation and Instant Regeneration powers, and then we already knew that her destiny was to bear two children." Alexa started explaining Sophia in detail.
She continued, "But when you were born with Instant Regeneration and Teleportation powers, we recognized that we had made a mistake because Teleportation is a power exclusive to males."
"We still have a little hope that maybe our third child will be male. But our hope is broken, when Rosie is born with the Instant Regeneration powers."
"We realized the mistake had already happened. And the result of our mistakes is that your Emperor Demi-humans lineage is the last generation."
Sophia displayed a mature and understanding attitude, reassuring her family, "Okay, Mom, I understand that you, Dad, and Aunt Sylvie made the mistakes. But you all have given me so much love, and that’s what matters the most. I’m not angry with any of you for the mistakes or for keeping our family’s secrets."
"I understand why I have received more love and attention than Rosie and Evanthe from all of you. I remembered instances when you, known for her strictness even with the staff, had displayed an unusual level of care for me," Sophia explained as pointed to Sylvie.
"And I even remember, when I proposed the idea for my Sophia Dream Society. An elder member of the company, who was also the CEO of one of our businesses, had opposed my plans."
"Then you had immediately intervened, delivering a slap to the elder member and proceeding to give him a thorough beating until he cried out for his mother."
"Later, you assigned him to work as a security guard in the Sophia Dream Society for five years, per your strict instructions, so I have forgotten you all for hiding the secret."
Seeing Sophia understood everything, her family member started giving her hugs.
She is going to asked, some more questions.
But then, all of them are interrupted by the voice of Rosie.
"Husband, please stop tickling me. Hahaha," Rosie said, looking at Sharky.
While everyone was busy explaining the history of Alexander’s family.
Sharky has taken Rosie in his laps, just like always. Rosie, also cooperated with him, adjusting herself in his laps.
Soon, they started kissing each other, and Sharky started playing with her, he was tickling her.
Now everyone was looking towards them. She became blushed with shame, hiding her face in through her palm.
"So, mom, where is Evanthe? From childhood I heard that she is on a mission," Sophia brings back everyone focused on her, with her question.
"Since, you are meant to be born male but were born female. We have given Evanthe a mission to find the two Emperor Demi-humans, hoping they would be male. So that our Emperor Demi-humans lineage will start."
"Dad, is she successful?" She asked in a curious tone.
He answered her, "She has failed, she found two others were also female Emperor Demi-humans. With it the family’s hopes were shattered. So, we allowed you to live with Sharky."
"However, since our lineage is broken, we didn’t want to hurt you. Also, we didn’t want to break our family tradition. Since you’ve already accepted Sharky as your husband, and only the marriage is left, we’ve decided that before Rosie’s birthday, you, Rosie, and Evanthe will be married to Sharky."
Sophia’s eyes widened in shock, "Wait dad, I know about Rosie, since she liked the Sharky. I allowed her to share the Sharky. But when Evanthe comes into the scene?"
Before Stephen replied, Sharky said with a mischievous smile. "That’s right, Sophia. Your family wants to ensure their traditions are carried on, just like now they’re preparing a bridal chamber for you and Rosie to share with me. They have decided to do the same with your third sister when she returns."
Alexa then added, "We’ve observed that Rosie openly shows affection to Sharky. And you also do not stop her, when she likes Sharky."
"So, we decided that maybe the three of you sisters could live happily together with Sharky as your husband. If you have any concerns or problems with this arrangement, please let us know, and we’ll do as you wish."
