Beginning Of Multiverse Saga-Chapter 72: Destroyer
Sharky and Sif spent the entire night talking, lost in each other’s company and enjoying every moment together.
During their talk, Sif opened up about her Asgardian heritage, explaining her long lifespan.
"I’ve only lived a small part of my life so far. I still have thousands of years ahead of me," she said, gently caressing his face and looking into his eyes. "And I want you to live just as long. I’ll ask my father for a potion that can give you a long life too."
Sharky smiled at her tenderly. "As you wish, Sif."
He didn’t mention that he was already immortal. He wanted to tell her someday—but seeing how much it meant to her to help him, he let her have that moment.
As the morning sun lit up the room softly, they prepared to face a new day. Sif had made up her mind—she wanted to stay by Sharky’s side. But she knew there was something important she had to do first.
"Sharky," she said seriously, "I need permission from Odin, the All-Father, if I want to leave Asgard and be with you. It’s a necessary step."
Sharky nodded with a calm smile. "I understand, Sif. I’ll wait for you."
As the sun rose higher, Thomas got ready to return to Asgard with the Mjölnir and speak to the Asgardian king.
But what none of them knew was that, far away in the golden halls of Asgard... Loki, the God of Mischief, had secretly heard everything.
Loki had been watching from the shadows, waiting for the right moment. Unknown to Sif, he had seen everything—he was curious to know who dared to take his brother’s power.
His eyes narrowed as he saw Thomas.
"You pathetic Earthling," Loki muttered, full of spite. "You think you can take my brother’s powers? You shouldn’t even exist."
Hearing that Thomas was planning to inherit Thor’s power filled Loki with burning anger.
"It’s time to take serious action," he said to himself, his face now set with cold determination.
Without hesitation, Loki walked to a hidden chamber and awakened the Destroyer—a powerful and unstoppable guardian created to destroy anything in its path. The massive figure rose, its armored body glowing with deadly energy.
"Destroyer," Loki commanded, "Thomas must not leave New Mexico alive."
Agent Billy Coulson was exhausted when he noticed the same strange magical light flashing again—this time in New Jersey.
"First the Sword Master, then the Beast, then the mysterious hammer... and now something else? When is this going to stop?" he muttered. Then he turned to his team. "Alright, everyone, follow me!"
Without wasting a second, Coulson and his GUARD agents rushed toward the location where the Bifrost had opened.
Suddenly, a blinding beam of light shot down from the sky, and from it emerged the Asgardian Destroyer—huge, metallic, and radiating danger. The agents stopped in their tracks, staring up at the towering figure in awe.
"Sir, what is that?" one agent asked, trying to make sense of the massive figure. "Is the Sword Master testing out a new suit or something? Maybe it’s from his company?"
Coulson shook his head. "I don’t think so. Ben never mentioned any new suit, and he prefers lightweight armor that lets him move fast. This thing is way too heavy-duty."
He stepped forward, raising his voice toward the towering figure.
"Whoever you are, this is Agent Coulson of GUARD! Stand down immediately! Step out of that armor and surrender yourself now!"
The Destroyer’s mask began to open slowly, reacting to Coulson’s command.
"Alright, now we’ll see who’s inside this thing," Coulson said, bracing himself to witness the person behind the armor.
But instead of revealing a face, the Destroyer suddenly fired a powerful beam straight at them.
"Everyone, move!" Coulson shouted.
The team quickly scattered, dodging the blast just in time. The ground shook and smoke rose where the beam had hit, but luckily, no one was hurt.
The agents took defensive positions, ready for another attack. But to their surprise, the Destroyer didn’t come after them again. Instead, it turned and blasted off toward Thomas’s location.
"What now?" Coulson muttered, frustrated, then quickly tapped his comm to call his boss.
"Director Robert, we’ve got another situation here. Something just came through the portal in New Jersey. It looked like one of Ben’s uncle’s suits, but way more dangerous."
There was a brief pause on the line before Robert responded. For the first time, his voice showed real concern.
"What? Are you sure?" he asked, clearly shocked.

Meanwhile, Thomas, the Asgardians, and his friends—including Sharky—were getting ready to retrieve Mjolnir from the GUARD facility. Sharky had already received permission, so everything was going smoothly.
But as soon as they stepped outside the house, they heard shouting and screaming in the streets.
A huge metallic figure was blasting destructive rays from its face, destroying everything in its path.
"What is that?" Jane asked, shocked and confused.
"That’s the Destroyer," Thomas said, recognizing the monster. But he looked worried. "Why is it here?"
Fandral stepped forward, drawing his sword. "Thomas, Loki sent the Destroyer to kill you. You need to hide—we’ll take care of this."
Hogun and Volstagg joined him without hesitation.
Sif turned to Sharky, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Sharky, stay out of this. I won’t let him lay a finger on you—or even touch a hair on your head," she said with a protective smile before running into battle.
The Warriors Three and Sif charged the Destroyer, their weapons glowing with Asgardian energy.
The Warriors Three fought valiantly, drawing the Destroyer’s attention. The metallic giant turned its focus on them, opening its mask again—charging up its deadly beam.
But before it could fire, Sif seized the moment.
With flawless timing, she hurled her spear and charged alongside it. Her aim was perfect—the spear pierced through the Destroyer’s open mask, driving down into its core with tremendous force, pinning the hulking metal creature to the ground.
"Wow, Sif! You really did it!" Fandral cheered, impressed.
The Warriors Three grinned, thinking the battle was won.
But their relief lasted only a second.
A deep rumble echoed from the Destroyer’s body as it suddenly began to shift—its metal plates grinding with eerie precision. With a shocking 180-degree twist, the torso turned unnaturally, and its mask rotated to face Sif, glowing with energy.
Sif’s eyes widened in realization. "It’s still—!"
"Sif, run!" Sharky shouted, stepping forward as glowing as ready to activate his Diamond Head powers.
She now understood the grim truth—their earlier attack had barely scratched the surface of the Destroyer’s true power.
Sif jumped to avoid the beam, but it still followed her. She didn’t know what to do. She closed her eyes, ready to die.
But the beam never hit her.
Instead, she felt someone holding her tightly. From the warmth of the hug, she knew—it was her King, Sharky.
She quickly opened her eyes in fear, thinking Sharky had taken the hit to save her. But then she saw something unbelievable—the deadly beam was bouncing off his body, doing no harm at all.
"Thank God, you’re safe," Sharky said with a breath of relief. Then his face turned serious. "Now it’s time to deal with this metal monster. How dare it try to hurt you."
"I’m okay, Sharky. You don’t have to fight," Sif said gently. She didn’t want him to get hurt. But Sharky didn’t stop.
He stepped in front of the Destroyer and, with one powerful punch, knocked it backward.
Then, with more punches, he kept attacking, sending the Destroyer flying from one spot to another.
"How?" Hogun asked, shocked and curious.
"He was always brave and strong. And we didn’t even know he had such powers—he sat and ate with us like a normal person," Fandral said, both surprised and impressed by the power Sharky had just shown.
But then something even more incredible happened. It caught everyone’s attention—even Sharky and the Destroyer stopped to look.
Mjolnir, the magical hammer, flew through the air and landed right in Thomas’s hand. As soon as he grabbed it, something amazing happened.
Thomas began to change. His clothes turned into divine armor, and powerful energy flowed through him. Lightning sparked all around as he transformed into someone new—he had become the mighty God of Thunder.
"Thomas, what happened to you?" Jane shouted in shock, seeing the lightning and his new outfit.
With a strong and powerful voice, Thomas spoke, "I am not Thomas right now. I am Thor, God of Thunder!" The sky itself seemed to respond to his words, filled with crackling thunder.
The Destroyer seems to remember something, he quickly releases the destructive beam on Thor, but Thor, with just one strike of Mjolnir, easily throws the Destroyer in the ground.
Holding the magical hammer, Thor became a storm of power, blocking the deadly energy beams from the unstoppable Destroyer.
"Let’s finish this," Thor said. He raised Mjölnir and used all its power. With one strong swing, he hit the Destroyer.
The powerful metal guardian, once thought unbeatable, fell to the ground.
The earth shook when it crashed down.
When the dust cleared, Thor stood strong. The fight was over. The place that was full of noise and danger was now quiet. Thor had won, and he was now back to being the true God of Thunder.
When everything was calmed down, Thor said, "We need to go back to Asgard before Loki tries something else now that his plan has failed."
"Okay," Sif and the Warrior Three agreed.
"Heimdall, open the Bifrost!" Thor shouted.
And then, the Bifrost—Asgard’s magical rainbow bridge—opened its glowing path, ready to take them home.
Thor, standing alongside his friend, shared a heartfelt goodbye with Jane Foster.
"I shall return for you, my love," He gave a final kiss to Jane.
Jane also cooperated with him in the Kiss, "I will be waiting for you."
Sif also gives her goodbye kiss to Sharky, "I will also try to return as quickly as I can, my King."
After savouring the kiss with Sif.
"That idiot Destroyer comes at the important time, and disturb my precious time," Sharky showed his anger on the broken Destroyer.
Sif gave a chuckle seeing this, she then put his hands on her bosom, "My King, I know we didn’t share more time together, but still, I only belonged to you. I will try to return quickly, ok goodbye, my love, my King."
With Thor, and the Warrior Three, she stepped in the Bifrost, disappearing from there.
After Thomas in his Thor’s personality has vanished with the Sif and Warrior Three. Sharky and Jean were still looking towards the sky.
But then, their call and peace were destroyed by someone, it was none other than Billy Coulson, the Agent of GUARD.
After seeing the big fight between Thor and the Destroyer, Billy Coulson was amazed. But now that the danger was gone, he felt he could handle things again.
He quickly started giving orders to clean up.
"Pick up every piece of the Destroyer. Don’t leave anything behind," he told the GUARD agents.
The agents worked fast, loading all the broken parts into their trucks.
Then, Coulson walked over to Darcy Lewis, Jane Foster, Dr. Erik Selvig, and Sharky.
"None of you can talk about what happened here. Sign these papers to promise you won’t tell anyone," he said, handing them some forms.
Next, he went to Sharky. "How did you fight the Destroyer? You need to explain everything. You’re coming with us," he said seriously.
But the group didn’t listen. They ignored the papers.
When Coulson tried to grab Sharky’s arm, Sharky made a small move—and Coulson flew backward, landing far away.
"Guys, let’s go," Sharky said, pulling out the key to his Rosie Interstellar Car. He pressed a button, and the car appeared in front of them from the parking lot.
Even after the huge battle, the car didn’t have a single scratch. It showed how strong and tough the car really was.
Darcy, Jane, and Dr. Selvig nodded and quickly got into the car. It drove off smoothly, leaving Coulson and his team behind.
Later, Sharky decided to return to his Crown Haven Villa in New York. He wanted to tell his girlfriend, Sophia, and Rosie everything that happened. He also planned to share the story with his father-in-law at their next meeting.
Still lying on the ground, Coulson stood up angrily. "How dare you ignore me!" he shouted, but the car was already far away.
Frustrated, Coulson turned to one of his agents. "Find out everything about them."
"Okay, Boss," the agent replied and quickly left to gather information.
