Sharky arrived at the imperial study. Eunuch Wen gave him a look and couldn’t help but become shocked. It seemed the emperor’s mood wasn’t too good today.

Sure enough, the emperor immediately used intimidation the moment Sharky walked in, asking, "Have you not completed the task this emperor assigned you?"

"May I ask which task you are referring to?" Sharky sneered inwardly. He had already seen through the other party’s political schemes.

"The task you were given to find a solution for the crown prince, of course. The crown prince’s exam has already been decided. Do you understand your crimes?" The emperor looked at Sharky with his sharp eyes. A powerful aura crashed down, as if he could see through Sharky’s negligence.

Sharky said, "The crown prince’s exam involves King George. It really isn’t something an official of my level can get involved in. Please punish me."

The emperor was completely stunned. He hadn’t expected this kid to be so obedient. He had prepared a bunch of criticism, yet now, it was completely useless. Eventually, he gathered his thoughts and said, "Since you already know that you’ve sinned, I’m not someone unreasonable either. I plan to give you a chance to make up for your mistake."

Sharky sneered inwardly, but he looked overjoyed on the surface. "Please speak, your majesty! This subject is willing to go through anything; not even ten thousand deaths can hold me back!"

The emperor was extremely satisfied with his attitude. His expression eased a bit. "I believe you already know about the crown prince’s exam."

Sharky nodded. "Yes, I know."

The Emperor ordered him, "So, I refuse to believe that George wouldn’t interfere in this matter. This emperor really can’t feel at ease, so I plan to send someone to follow the crown prince and look around inside."

Then, the emperor warned him about some things to pay attention to before he entered the dungeon, and that protecting the crown prince was his absolute first priority. Afterward, the emperor said, "You can leave. Pay Concubine Bai a visit later; she’ll hand you the item."

"Understood!" Sharky withdrew from the imperial study calmly as usual, but there were great emotions surging inside of him. He had never expected the treasure capable of hiding one’s cultivation to be in Concubine Bai’s possession.

While lost in thought, Sharky ended up wandering into the Hundred Flower Palace. When he vaguely made out the scene of blossoming flowers, Sharky felt a refreshing feeling.

He was led inside by the palace maid. Concubine Bai was slowly rocking back and forth on a swing. She didn’t seem surprised to see Sharky at all. She waved her hand, gesturing for everyone else to leave.

"Is it good that you sended the servants away?" Sharky asked mischievously. He took a step forward and sat down on the swing. He picked Concubine Bai up and placed her right in his embrace.

Concubine Bai was shocked and happy. After a momentary daze, she began to settle in his embrace. "Can you do one time with me before going?" She murmured.

"Of course," Sharky nodded, while Bai Rouxue was rubbing herself on his lap, he embraced her fair waist and honey peach bottom. He replied in a carefree tone, "You are so beautiful, why will I not do it with you."

Soon, their clothes started flying, and they became nude in each other’s embrace. They started licking and kissing each other.

It goes for some 15 minutes, till Sharky was able to calm down Bai Rouxue, by watering her forest with his Dragon fluid.

Bai Rouxue gently patted him with love and tenderness, she brought a spice bag, which was removed earlier from her waist and said, "This should be what you need. While you wear it, it can conceal your aura and prevent your ki fluctuations from exceeding the sixth rank."

Sharky accepted it. It was quite the exquisite spice bag, its material similar to silk, yet not quite. There was a small flower embroidered on the surface, alongside the character for ’Bai’.

"Is this yours?" Sharky asked, shocked.

"His majesty bestowed it to me in the past. It was able to conceal my cultivation," Bai Rouxue replied. "Take it; my love, and remember to be careful."

Sharky nodded, after taking the spice bag, he left.

Time quickly passed. A day before the exam, Catherine brought Sharky into the eastern palace. She began to explain to him her plan.

Sharky asked, "Have you decided on who will enter the dungeon tomorrow?"

Catherine replied, "From the Eastern Palace, it will be the two of us, as well as Guard Piao, Guard Jiao, and the others. Apart from that, there will be disciples from King Liang Manor, the Bi clan, the Liu clan, the Meng clan, and the Pei clan. Each clan has only sent people at the sixth rank and below."

Sharky couldn’t help but smile, saying, "Then that’s almost a hundred people in total. I’m sure that’s enough to get rid of any serpent."

Catherine smiled as well. "Ruizhi is the crown prince after all, so it isn’t going too far to have all of these people accompany him. King George’s side can’t say too much about it either."

Sharky asked, "Right, who did the Pei clan you spoke of send?"

Catherine replied, "The Director of the Imperial Secretariat Pei Ming has two sons, Pei Zuo and Pei You. The one who they sent was Pei You. He’s always been sharp, and he’s also a well-known figure among the Pei clan’s younger generation."

"Alright." Sharky nodded.

Sharky understood it, he knows she wants to go inside, but she can’t.

The next morning, Catherine woke up early and got dressed. Since today was an important day, she hadn’t gotten much sleep the night before. Fortunately, she is a cultivator, so it didn’t affect them too much.

A while later, a maid outside reported that someone had arrived at the Eastern Palace.

"Is that so? Let them in," Catherine said.

Since Sharky has already informed them, he is going to Royal College, they just need to gather the team, and go there.

Soon, the first participants, Gu Heng and Gu Xing, arrived.

Followed by others arrived, and they all went towards the Royal Academy.

Meanwhile, Sharky was currently inside the Royal Academy. He has come to get a lot of help, before he enters the dungeon.

Liana was dressed in a dark blue dress. Her black stockings were visible through the slit in the side of the dress. Sharky sighed in admiration when he saw her. "You always look beautiful."

"Of course, but it is only for you," Liana said with a smile. She then opened the cupboard beside her and took out a roll of silk. There were all sorts of diagrams on it. Some areas had red exclamation marks on them. "This is a map of the academy’s dungeon. It records the various terrain and vicious beasts in detail. It is the thing you need."

Sharky took it and nodded.

Liana explained, "You should stay as far away from these red exclamation marks as possible. You absolutely can’t get close to them. These places are too dangerous for you."

Sharky felt warm inside. "Thanks."

Liana suddenly said seriously, "Once you enter the dungeon, no matter what happens, your first priority should be your own life. Don’t try to show off and be brave. You have to remember how many people are waiting for you outside."

Sharky blurted out, "Are you included among those people?"

Liana blushed a little, "Yes, I am."

Sharky then asked seriously, "Liana, is there something you’re not telling me?"

Liana shook her head. "I’ve already told you everything I should tell you. As for the rest, I don’t know either. Just remember that your safety is the first priority."

Seeing that she wasn’t willing to say it, Sharky didn’t pressure her either. However, many possibilities appeared in his mind.

Liana got up and said, "Follow me."

"Where to?" Sharky asked.

Liana didn’t say anything and only led the way. Sharky followed behind her.
