Beginning Of Multiverse Saga-Chapter 104: Forsaken In Action
The five of them — Shadow Queen and the four villains — walked through dark tunnels under the city. No one above knew they had escaped.
They reached a huge metal door hidden behind old bricks and pipes. Shadow Queen raised her hand, and a glowing thread slipped into a small slot. The door clicked and slowly opened.
Inside was an old underground base. It used to be a secret military shelter, now turned into a hideout. Lights flickered, machines hummed quietly, and big screens showed maps and files. It was dusty, but it worked — and it felt like home.
Black Scythe looked around and smirked.
"Well... better than a prison cell."
Bloodweb dropped into a chair with a grin.
"Someone’s been planning this for a while."
Iron Mammoth stood by the glass, looking out at the machines.
"No way a place like this stays hidden unless you really know what you’re doing."
Fangstrike stayed quiet, but her eyes scanned the room carefully, checking every detail.
Shadow Queen took off her mask and looked at them calmly.
"This place was forgotten. I found it years ago and fixed it. Now it’s completely off the grid. No one knows we’re here — not GUARD, not the Heroes. Just us."
She looked around at the four of them. "This is our base now."
They all exchanged glances. The tension from before slowly faded.
Fangstrike asked, "So what happens next?"
Black Scythe leaned on the console. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
"We’re not just strangers anymore. We broke out together. That means something."
Bloodweb nodded.
"Yeah. We need a name."
Iron Mammoth frowned.
"Let’s not pick anything dumb."
There was a short pause.
Then Fangstrike said, "What about... the Forsaken?"
Everyone went quiet.
Black Scythe nodded.
"Yeah. That fits."
Bloodweb smiled.
"Kinda cool."
Even Iron Mammoth didn’t complain — which said a lot.
Shadow Queen gave a small nod.
"Then we are the Forsaken."
There was silence in the room. A heavy one. It felt like the start of something big.
Fangstrike stepped forward.
"Alright, Shadow Queen. What’s our first mission?"
Without a word, Shadow Queen walked over to a screen and pulled off the cover. Red dots lit up across a map — places connected to the people and systems that had hurt them all.
She didn’t even turn around.
"We choose our first target tomorrow."
And just like that, the Forsaken were born. Something the world wasn’t ready for.
———
The next day, Forsaken prepared for their first mission.
The dim room glowed faintly as Nyx Virelle stood in front of a large screen.
On it, a 3D model of a giant armored robot slowly rotated. In the center of its chest was a glowing blue orb, pulsing inside a shell.
Nyx informed them, "Our first mission is this — John Smith. Or as people call him... the American Guardian."
The screen zoomed in on the orb in the robot’s chest.
"That glowing orb is called the Aether Core. It’s an experimental energy source made during something called Project: Titan Hammer. It doesn’t control the robot, but it powers it endlessly — letting him fight without getting tired."
Marcus frowned and asked, "So what... we’re just supposed to yank it out of a giant robot?"
Daniel grinned, "Its sounds crazy. But I like it."
Nyx informed them again, "We don’t need to fight the full robot. It’s too strong. And John’s connected to it through his mind. The only time it’s vulnerable is when the core is taken out for charging and repairs."
She clicked a remote. The screen showed a top-down satellite image of a forest base hidden in the mountains.
"Tomorrow night, they’ll do a system check and recharge the core at this outpost. For about three hours, the robot will be powered down. That’s our chance."
Lena raised an eyebrow and asked, "What’s so important about this core to you?"
"To me? It’s a key. A way to weaken GUARD’s control. It proves that even their strongest hero isn’t safe. It’s the start of turning the balance."
Ethan stretched his arms, "So... do we sneak in, or go in loud?"
Nyx gave a small smile.
"Start quiet. If things go wrong, make noise. But whatever happens — we leave with that core."
Marcus said, "And what if John Smith shows up?"
Nyx said, "Keep him busy. Slow him down. Hurt him if you must. But don’t kill him... and you also are not able to kill him."
———
The next night came quickly.
Under the cover of darkness, the team known as the Forsaken moved through the forest — ready for their first mission.
———
REMOTE GUARD FACILITY
The forest is thick and dark. A secret GUARD base glows with soft security lights. The huge American Guardian Mecha stands in the maintenance bay, completely still. A soft blue light shines from its chest — the Aether Core.
John Smith sits at a control desk, watching different screens. One of them shows Mecha’s status. He looks tired, but alert and focused.
---
EXT. GUARD FACILITY — PERIMETER
Nyx Virelle (Shadow Queen), Daniel (Black Scythe), Lena (Bloodweb), Ethan (Iron Mammoth), and Marcus (Fangstrike) move quietly through the trees. They wear dark tactical suits and move like shadows.
Nyx whispered, "This way. Stay close. Move fast."
They split into different directions.
Daniel and Marcus head toward the power units.
Ethan stays behind, ready to fight if needed.
Lena looks for hidden security systems.
Nyx heads toward the maintenance bay.
---
INT. GUARD FACILITY — MAINTENANCE BAY
Nyx slips into the large bay. The giant Mecha stands tall above her, glowing in the chest.
She takes out a small device — an EMP tool meant to shut down the Mecha’s shield for a short time.
Nyx said quietly, "Almost there..."
Suddenly, loud alarms start ringing.
---
INT. GUARD FACILITY — CONTROL ROOM
Red lights flash across the screens. John sees the alert.
He said, "Security breach in the maintenance bay! Send in the drones!"
---
EXT. GUARD FACILITY — PERIMETER
Lena ducked behind a wall.
She said, "Cameras caught me. Time to move!"
Ethan let out a roar and smashed a turret with his fists.
---
INT. MAINTENANCE BAY
Nyx activated the EMP device. Sparks flew as Mecha’s shield flickered.
She stepped forward and gently pulled the glowing Aether Core from Mecha’s chest. The orb shook and pulsed in her hands, but then calmed.
---
INT. GUARD FACILITY — CONTROL ROOM
John stared at the screen. A warning popped up — "Core Removed."
He said, "They took the core. No time to suit up."
He ran to the Mecha and jumped into the cockpit, rushing to activate the systems.
---
EXT. GUARD FACILITY
Nyx raised her hand and gave the signal.
She shouted, "Retreat!"
Daniel threw a blade of dark energy at a group of flying drones.
Marcus sliced open a side wall with his claws.
Lena used web-like wires to mess up the cameras.
Ethan smashed open a metal gate and helped them escape.
The team regrouped deep in the trees. They were breathing hard, bruised but smiling.
Nyx held up the glowing Aether Core.
She smiled and said, "This is just the beginning."
The team arrived at their hidden base — a high-tech underground lair lit by dim lights and quiet machines. The mood was serious, but the mission had been a success.
Nyx placed the glowing Aether Core onto a platform. It floated just above it, pulsing with energy.
Nyx nodded and said, "We did it. The Aether Core is ours."
Daniel crossed his arms, keeping his focus on the core. Ethan leaned against the wall, arms folded. Lena tapped away on a small device. Marcus wiped a bit of dirt from his cheek.
The five stood around a holographic table. A glowing map hovered in the air. Nyx touched a nearby console.
The image changed to a sleek, advanced sword design, spinning slowly in front of them.
She pointed at it, "This is our next target — Ben Stark."
Daniel raised an eyebrow and asked, "The Sword Master?"
Nyx nodded.
"His newest weapon. A sword made from nanotech and powered by Astra Cube energy. It’s fast, smart, and deadly."
Marcus grinned, "So... we’re gonna steal a sword? Sounds fun."
Nyx shook her head, "Not that simple. It’s locked in a secure vault. And Ben isn’t just smart — he’s a fighter. That sword reacts instantly, changes shape mid-battle."
Lena smirked, "Well, that just makes it more exciting."
Ethan cracked his knuckles, "Whatever it is, it won’t stop us."
Nyx turned to the hologram again.
"This blade, along with the Aether Core, gives us the power we need."
She looked around at the team, serious and focused.
Nyx said firmly, "Get ready. We will strike soon."
The five villains prepare their gear. Nyx stands at a console, showing a hologram of the Sword Tech Complex.
She pointed at the map, "Ben’s lab is inside this building. High security. Lasers, drones, and AI guards."
Daniel smirked, "Sounds like my kind of playground."
Nyx nodded.
"Marcus and I will sneak in and shut down their tech. Lena and Ethan, you two cause chaos outside. Daniel, you cover our escape."
Marcus loaded his claws, "Disabling tech? That’s easy."
Lena smirked, "Let’s tear the place apart."
The team moved silently through the shadows and arrived outside of the Sword Tech Complex.
Marcus whispered, "Ready when you are, Nyx."
Nyx tapped a device on her wrist. Silent pulses spread out like waves.
She said calmly, "Cameras and locks are down. We have ten minutes. Let’s move."
---
Inside the Sword tech lab, Ben Stark was working on his latest nanotech sword. It floated in the air, glowing with shifting blue energy.
Suddenly, alarms blared.
Ben grabbed the sword and shouted, "Not again..."
---
Lena shot webs at drones while Ethan smashed a patrol vehicle.
Seizing the chance, Marcus and Nyx slipped inside, dodging laser beams.
Nyx reached the display case. The sword glowed and shifted slightly under her hand.
Marcus watched the door, "Time to grab the prize."
Nyx placed the sword in a special sheath.
---
Ben arrived and found Marcus and Nyx.
He said firmly, "You’re not walking out with that."
He charged. The fight was fast. Ben’s sword changed shape mid-swing. But before it hits them, they vanished. It showed, it was their hologram.
---
The team regrouped outside, where Daniel was waiting for them in an armoured vehicle, ready to exit.
Nyx smirked, "Mission accomplished. Let’s go."
Lena webbed the exits to block guards. Ethan lifted a piece of road and threw it behind them.
Daniel revved the vehicle.
Ben ran after them, sword glowing bright.
He gritted his teeth, "You won’t get away that easily!"
Nyx signaled the team.
Nyx shouted, "Move!"
They jumped on and went inside of the vehicle. Daniel hit the throttle and sped off through the chaos.
Ben swung at the vehicle. The sheath blocked his strike just in time.
The vehicle raced through the street. Ben chased on foot.
Lena shot webs, trying to trip him, but he dodged.
Daniel drove the vehicle and reached inside a tunnel. Ben followed them.
Soon he found the armoured vehicle. Before he got near it, it was blasted.
Meanwhile, the villain had already exited the vehicle, before Ben arrived.
Soon, they reached an old warehouse and entered.
Nyx held up the glowing nanotech sword.
Nyx smiled and said, "With this, we’ll be unstoppable."
Daniel laughed, "This is our second victory."
---
Ben arrived back at his lab.
He shouted in anger, "I won’t let you get away with this."
He slammed his fist on the table. The lab was a mess. His precious sword was gone.
He pulled up the camera footage. It was blurry, but he saw flashes — webbing, silver claws, a dark scythe.
Ben gritted his teeth and said, "Who the hell are you people?"
He started a scan on every known rogue metahuman near the area.
But he didn’t think the villain will be the same villain which he has already sent back to jail.
He grabbed his armor and sword hilt. The armor formed around him in seconds.
———
INT. HIDDEN UNDERGROUND BASE — NIGHT
The room is dark, lit only by blue holograms and flickering tech screens. Nyx (Shadow Queen) stands at a large table. Around her are the villains — Daniel (Black Scythe), Ethan (Iron Mammoth), Lena (Bloodweb), and Marcus (Fangstrike).
They’ve just returned after stealing Ben Stark’s sword and John Smith’s Aether Core.
Nyx tapped her wrist device. A glowing image of the Astra Cube floated in the air — spinning with strange cosmic energy.
Nyx spoke calmly, "It’s time we stop playing small games. The sword and the Core... those were just warm-ups. This is what matters now."
The team leaned closer, eyes locked on the spinning Cube.
Daniel looked serious and said, "Is that the Cube from GUARD’s lab? The one the scientist was messing with?"
Ethan crossed his arms, "That thing destroyed a whole lab. And you want us to steal it?"
Nyx nodded, "Yes. The Astra Cube is powerful. But more than that... it’s a key."
Lena raised an eyebrow and asked, "A key to what?"
Nyx looked at the Cube and said softly, "To other worlds. Other weapons. Other powers. With this, we won’t have to run anymore. We won’t bow to anyone."
Marcus smirked, "I like where this is going. So, what’s the plan?"
Nyx pressed another button. A 3D map of the GUARD Research Headquarters appeared. It showed building layouts, guard routes, and the location of the Cube deep underground.
Nyx pointed at the screen, "They moved the Cube to a sealed vault under the base. High security, but not impossible to break."
She drew a line across the map.
Nyx said, "We’ll split up. One team disables the security. The other team breaks into the vault and grabs the Cube."
Ethan looked curious and asked, "And after that?"
Nyx smiled slightly, "Then... we leave Earth."
The room went quiet. No one said a word.
Lena laughed, "So that’s it. This isn’t just revenge... you’re after something bigger."
Nyx looked at them all, "I want freedom. Real freedom. For all of us."
The team stared at the Cube’s image. Slowly, they began gathering their gear.
