Beginning Of Multiverse Saga-Chapter 102: Villians Story
The GUARD agent took him inside the aircraft. After an hour, it approached a hidden ocean base.
From above, it looked like nothing but open water.
But then, the sea below parted, revealing a massive metal dome structure rising from the depths. It shimmered with blue energy barriers.
This was The Abyss Vault – an underwater high-tech prison, built deep beneath the surface of the ocean to hold the most dangerous threats to humanity.
As the aircraft docked into a submerged hangar, automated scanners and turrets scanned every inch of the transport. Security was tight—one mistake and the base would go into instant lockdown.
Black Scythe was brought into the intake chamber. Walls were made of a rare energy-absorbing metal. The guards walked through six layers of sealed doors, scanning for psychic waves, hidden tech, and even shape-shifting illusions.
He was led down a long corridor with glowing energy beams on both sides. Other cells could be seen, each one different—custom-made for the powers of the villain inside.
His cell was a gravity-suspension chamber—a floating pod inside a transparent cube, where even movement required permission from the system.
Computer Voice: "Black Scythe. Status: Contained. Danger Level: Alpha-Three."
As the pod sealed, he floated mid-air, hands bound, unable to touch anything.
———
In the afternoon, at Steel Ridge Canyon.
John Smith receives an emergency alert — a rogue enemy known as Iron Mammoth is attacking a GUARD convoy transporting advanced tech. Civilians are being evacuated, but there are still people trapped on-site.
He arrives in a military truck. He steps out, places both hands on a control pad, and activates the beacon.
"American Guardian, deploy."
From the ocean, a metal platform rises. The American Guardian — a red, white, and silver mecha, about 20 feet tall, with stars on its armored arms. And a glowing chest core called the Aether Core—a powerful energy core that powered both the suit and John’s enhanced strength.
John leaps in. The interface lights up, syncing to his brain.
Iron Mammoth — a massive armored enemy with tusks shaped like industrial drills and fists like wrecking balls — charges forward. His voice growls through a voice modulator.
"They sent you? A puppet in armor?"
John Smith calmly said, "I’m not here to talk. You’re under arrest."
Iron Mammoth replied back, "Time to crush your patriotic toy."
John activates Shield Arms — glowing energy shields form over both arms of the Mecha.
Iron Mammoth slams into him. The dock shakes, cranes collapse.
John blocks with a shield and punches Mammoth, launching him into a stack of containers.
Iron Mammoth responds by launching drill missiles — John counters with anti-missile cannons on his back.
Iron Mammoth charges again and tackles John into the water nearby. Both mechas sink into the shallow harbor. Sparks and bubbles rise.
Inside the cockpit, John’s systems flicker.
"Time for Override Mode."
He slams a button, activating his Aether Core, overcharging the mech. He lifts the Iron Mammoth overhead and throws him back onto the docks.
Iron Mammoth roared and fired a beam from his shoulder cannon.
"You’ll break before I fall!"
"Maybe later."
In one final moment, John activates Rocket Punch Mode — launches a massive, glowing fist that hits Iron Mammoth square in the chest, sending him flying across the dock into a crane tower. That shattered Iron Mammoth’s armor and sent him crashing to the ground.
Iron Mammoth tries to get up... then powers down.
"Target neutralized. And I didn’t even scratch the paint."
He steps out of the Mecha as GUARD agents arrive. Civilians cheer from a distance.
"That guy never stood a chance."
———
Iron Mammoth, still in parts of his damaged iron armor, was dragged in by GUARD agents. His glowing red eyes flickered. His arms were chained by thick energy cuffs.
From inside his own floating cell, Black Scythe smirked and leaned against the transparent barrier.
Black Scythe mocked him, "Well, well. If it isn’t the tin can. What happened, Mammoth? Rusted in the sun?"
He growled as he passed the first set of cells.
Iron Mammoth snarls back to him, "At least I dented a few skulls before they caught me. You? You got sliced up by a glowing butter knife."
Black Scythe laughed.
"Touché."
The doors sealed behind them.

At Nighttime in the rooftops of New York City
Sasha, known as Assassin Girl, crouches on a beam, bow in hand, eyes glowing slightly in the night scope.
Clint descends from above with a glide using his bio wings, his claws extended, landing silently beside her.
Sasha quietly whispered to him, "Two targets. One moves like a whisper, the other stomps like a beast."
Clint nodded, "Perfect. You take the spider. I’ll clip the brute."
Sasha moves through the shadows of the scaffolding. She draws her specialized energy-tipped arrows.
Bloodweb, crawling along the ceiling like a mechanical tarantula, notices her.
"You’re too late, assassin."
Web limbs lash out — Sasha flips, fires an arrow mid-air, it explodes with a flashbang, blinding Bloodweb’s optics.
She slides beneath a beam, fires a second arrow into a junction box — the area plunges into darkness.
Sasha whispered to her, "You need your eyes. I don’t."
She fires a final silent shadow arrow — it pierces Bloodweb’s chest. She stumbles, her limbs spark and crash.
Meanwhile, Clint divebombs Fangstrike from a higher floor.
The brute roars, his bones elongating into jagged blades. He slashes — Clint deflects with bio wings, then strikes back with a spinning claw kick.
They brawl through unfinished walls, smashing through metal girders.
Clint finally traps him by wrapping his wings around Fangstrike mid-air and slamming him into a concrete pillar.
"Stay down, bonehead."
Fangstrike tries to rise — Clint activates a claw-charged pulse, shocking him unconscious.
Sasha and Clint regroup, standing over the two unconscious bodies.
"I counted six seconds for your takedown. Slowing down?"
Clint grin at her, "I was enjoying it."
They call for extraction. Lightning flashes behind them as a GUARD transport ship arrives in the distance.
"Come on, partner. Drink on me tonight."
Sasha smiled, "I’ll let you pretend you won."
———
The GUARD submarine surfaced near the Abyss Vault, the underwater prison deep in the Atlantic.
Bloodweb and Fangstrike were restrained and escorted in.
As they passed down the corridor, Black Scythe called out.
Black Scythe said in a mocking tone, "Oh great, now we’ve got a spider and a beast. This place is getting crowded."
Iron Mammoth also grin, "More friends to play cards with."
Fangstrike growls towards them, "I’ll tear this cage apart one day."
Bloodweb didn’t say anything. They are also locked in a floating pod.
———
In the early morning, Military trucks, helicopters, and drones moved through the woods with searchlights scanning every tree.
Through the forest, a massive, fast-moving blur dashed between trunks—Beast, in his towering sabertooth tiger form, his fur glowing faintly under the moonlight. His breathing was heavy. Wounds covered parts of his hide from tranquilizer darts.
Soldier 1 over radio, "We have a visual. Target moving northbound—confirm, it’s the creature. Engage!"
Beast growled and charged through a barricade. Bullets pinged off rocks around him. He leaped up a hill, but a net cannon fired and caught his hind legs, dragging him down.
He roared and began to tear through the net with raw strength.
Commander via loudspeaker, "Stand down, creature! You’re surrounded!"
Suddenly, thunder cracked.
The clouds churned above, forming a swirling vortex of storm energy.
Soldiers looked up, shielding their eyes.
CRASH!
A streak of lightning slammed into the forest floor, throwing soldiers off their feet. In the clearing stood Thomas, holding out his hand as a glowing hammer flew into it—Mjolnir.
Beast froze, watching.
Thomas said in a calm, but powerful tone, "He’s not your enemy."
Commander asked back, "Who are you?! Put your hands in the air!"
Thomas swung Mjolnir once. A wave of wind blasted through the clearing, forcing the soldiers to fall back.
"Come on. Let’s get you out of here."
Beast, panting, nodded in thanks.
Thomas lifted Mjolnir and struck the ground—lightning shot outward, forming a flash of light.
By the time it faded, both had vanished, leaving behind scorched earth and stunned soldiers.
———
In a dark, hidden room...
A beautiful girl is there, she has long, wavy brown hair, glowing green eyes, and wears a black, high-tech suit with a flowing dark cloak.
A violet crown with a broken ring—is marked on her back.
She is known as Shadow Queen.
She knelt before the throne. A figure held a glowing scepter in one hand.
She said calmly, "All four have been captured and locked inside the Abyss Vault."
The scepter glowed brighter. A voice answered from the shadows.
Voice, "Good. Now the real game begins."
Scene fades out.
———
Location: Deep-sea High-Tech Prison Cell Block – dim lights, distant sounds of humming machines. The cells are secured with energy walls.
Black Scythe, Iron Mammoth, Bloodweb, and Fangstrike sit separately, but close enough to talk.
Black Scythe looked at the others with calm but intense eyes and told, "Let’s stop pretending. We all want to know why we’re here. What made us this way."
He paused for a moment.
"For me... it was revenge. I was a soldier. Loyal. Brave. Trusted my country. Trusted my team," he said firmly.
Iron Mammoth grunted, "Same story for me. Trust only gets you stabbed in the back."
Black Scythe ignored him and continued,
"We were on a mission. Deep in the jungle. Ambush hit us hard. I radioed for help, bleeding out... and my commander said only one thing."
He looked cold and distant now.
"’Leave him. Mission failed,’" he repeated, his voice filled with bitterness.
Fangstrike frowned. Bloodweb leaned forward slightly, silently listening.
"I watched them vanish. The people I would’ve died for. Left me to rot. I should’ve died there," Black Scythe said.
And started thinking back of his old times, moonlight cuts through dense trees. Gunfire echoes.
Black Scythe, still Daniel Graves in uniform, drags his injured leg through mud. Blood runs down his arm. His friend and commander has left him alone.
Crawling and alone, he stumbled into an ancient ruin buried in vines. A black, glowing scythe sat on a stone altar. He reached out and touched it — power rushed into him. His wounds healed instantly. His eyes glowed with shadow energy. He stood, no longer the same man.
"That day, I died. And something else was born," Black Scythe told with a cold stare.
He looked around at the others — calm on the outside, fire burning inside.
"They called me a monster. Hunted me like one. But the truth is... I became exactly what they made," he said.
Bloodweb spoke softly, "They always do... don’t they?"
Fangstrike growled, "Looks like none of us chose this path."
There was a pause. Only the quiet hum of the prison walls could be heard.
Iron Mammoth spoke, his voice like grinding metal.
Ethan said, "I wasn’t always like this."
The others turned to listen.
Ethan continued, "I was a weapons technician. Just a regular guy named Ethan Cole, working for a defense contractor. I built machines, upgraded armor systems—trying to keep food on the table for my family."
He leaned forward, glowing eyes narrowing behind his helmet.
Ethan said, "One day, I was sent to inspect a classified bunker. Found tech down there that didn’t belong to any known project—unstable, illegal. Before I could report it, they sent mercenaries. Not to help... but to erase me."
His tone turned bitter.
Ethan said, "There was a blast. One of the power cores exploded. And the tech — it fused with me. Circuits, metal plating... everything latched onto my body."
He looked down at his armored hands.
Ethan said, "Now I’m half-man, half-machine. Not by choice. But because they buried the truth."
His fists tightened.
Ethan said, "They labeled me a threat. Sent soldiers after me. I tried to defend myself — what else could I do? But instead of justice, I got prison bars. Like I was the experiment gone wrong they wanted to forget."
He fell quiet, the hum of his suit the only sound for a moment.
Black Scythe nodded slowly.
