Edith still wasn’t ready for Callum’s sudden kiss. Her eyes were still sparkling as she stared into his loving gaze. Did Callum actually not mind the atmosphere during the dance? Initially, Edith’s face showed a nervous expression, but now she smiled happily again in front of her beloved fiancé. Her left hand gently stroked his soft cheek. "I’ve missed you so much lately. I especially miss your kisses. Kiss me, Callum. I’m sorry I delayed our kiss earlier."

Of course, Callum didn’t want to miss this golden opportunity. He kissed his beloved fiancée aggressively on the lips again, slowly groping her curvy back. Edith chuckled as she stroked Callum’s head. "This dress was originally Cliff’s choice. But when I went to the fitting, he immediately started criticizing me. He said it didn’t suit me."

"What?! How dare he mock my beloved woman!"

"At first, we had a fight because I kept insisting on wearing this dress, until he finally gave in. He even said I looked like a clown."

Edith fingered the diamond necklace Callum had given her. "I told you before. I’m very reluctant to take this necklace off because it symbolizes my engagement to you."

"I have to apologize to you because I was actually angry and jealous when I saw you being so affectionate with Cliff. I thought you had truly forgotten about me because you were putting on such an act."

"I won’t forget you. In fact, I’ve been thinking of every way to get rid of Cliff." Edith wrapped her arms around his broad back and rested her head on her fiancé’s shoulder. "I don’t want to go back to Cliff. I want to be with you here."

"Me too. I just hope Cliff won’t come looking for you here."
