Cliff didn’t want to remain silent after hearing this good news from his ex-fiancée. In fact, they were now engaged again. "Really? This time Edith is serious about marrying you?"

Cliff held his mother’s right hand with a happy look. "Mom, you don’t have to worry anymore. This time, I won’t let Callum take Edith away from me."

"But you have to promise me something too, Cliff. You won’t make another mistake. You won’t embarrass our family again!"

"Don’t worry. I won’t act rashly again. Besides, isn’t Arabella engaged to Callum?"
