Becoming Secret Nanny for Possessive CEO-Chapter 60: Call Me "Darling"
For the first time, Edith was able to enjoy a sweet moment with her family on Family Day. She had always dreamed of having a harmonious family, and now her wish had come true. While the day had been so enjoyable and wonderful, she still wasn’t ready for it to end too soon. Even though her twins had fallen asleep early from exhaustion from all their school activities, she still wanted to watch a romantic movie with her boyfriend in the living room. This time, the living room was decorated with photos of their little family on a display cabinet.
"Edith, I really like you today."
Hearing her lover’s sweet talk suddenly made her cheeks flush red in an instant. "As usual, you’re always flirting with me out of the blue."
Callum chuckled, pressing his lips to his lover’s eyelids. "I learned a lot from you today."
"Aren’t you the one who always teaches me everything these days?"
"Today I learned a lot about the meaning of love from you. Especially when you presented our cookies to the judges. You confidently explained the meaning of love, even though you didn’t consider me your fiancé."
Edith wrapped her arms around her lover’s muscular frame. "Because if a dish is truly delicious, there must be meaning behind it. Just like you always cook something for me, it always tastes delicious. I know whatever you cook for me is filled with love."
"When I was racing with you earlier, I saw your gaze always full of affection for me. That’s why I started calling you by a new nickname."
"Do you want to call me "darling" all the time?"
"Do you like it?" Callum moved his lips closer to his lover’s.
Her head nodded. "I really like it, even though it feels really weird because you and I are still dating."
"I can’t wait to marry you. Once we’re officially married, I won’t have to think of so many excuses to keep my parents from suspecting us."
"I’ve been curious about you, actually. You’re very popular both at school and outside of school. In fact, many of your parents were gossiping about you and asking you questions earlier. Why don’t you want to get married yet?"
"Especially since everyone’s talking about me as a woman. I’m worried you’ll be jealous of their praise."
"I’m not jealous, why would I be jealous?"
Callum grinned at his girlfriend, who wore an innocent expression. "Really? If those women were prettier than you, wouldn’t you be worried I’d cheat on you?"
"I’m not afraid because you told me before that you don’t care about beautiful women. All you care about is me." Edith narrowed her eyes for a moment, looking down. "I hope you keep your promise. I knew from the start, you were the type of man who always kept his promises."
"I’ll never look at another woman as long as you’re by my side. Especially since I’m still traumatized by the many women who only took advantage of me."
Edith stared at the photo of her young family displayed before her. "That’s why I want to resolve all this quickly. I can’t wait to ride on your private yacht with you."
"If you wanted to ride a yacht with me every day, I could grant your wish. I could buy you a yacht for you."
Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped open. "Callum, you didn’t have to go to this length."
"My family is rich, and I have a black card. If you want to buy something, just tell me."
Edith folded her arms. "I never thought of you as an ATM. You’ve always been flaunting your wealth to me."
"Even though I am the stepchild in my family, of course I want to use this golden opportunity, except if I am expelled one day."
Gazing at her lover’s slightly gloomy expression, Edith began to wonder. What exactly had happened to Callum during her five-year absence? Has he always been bullied by his family? Erdin even thought his grandmother was a witch. Now it was time for her to get involved with this cruel family.
"Callum, if you can’t tell me, then you shouldn’t force yourself."
Callum took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. "I was never considered a child in that family. I didn’t even deserve to set foot in my family’s home. Just because I’m an illegitimate child—"
"Don’t say things like that, Callum! I’m so angry that you think of yourself as an illegitimate child."
"Edith..."
"I’m also an illegitimate child in my family. That’s why I was never considered a worthy child." Edith held her lover’s hands. "That’s why I want to protect you from now on."
"If now I had married another woman, I would definitely also be treated like my family. I would be thrown out and they would only want my property."
"I’m not like those who want your wealth. I just want your sincere love."
Callum kissed his lover’s lips for a few seconds. "That’s why you’re my first love, Edith."
Edith also kissed her lover enthusiastically on the lips. "How about we continue watching a romantic movie now? You’ve been working lately and haven’t been spending much time with me."
"Sorry, I should have–"
"Don’t force yourself to rush home just because of me. I was just joking."
"In return, I’ll have fun with you all day tomorrow. What do you want to do tomorrow?"
Edith wrapped her arms around her lover’s neck. "There’s no need to do anything. I just want no one to bother us."
"Don’t worry. If anyone bothers us, I won’t forgive them."

Meanwhile, in another luxurious residence, the spy who had been monitoring and photographing the couple’s every move was currently discussing the matter with his superior in the office. The conversation lasted for quite some time, in the dimly lit office and a thunderstorm lashing outside.
Staring at all the photos the spy had provided, the middle-aged woman clenched her fists and slammed the table violently. The middle-aged woman was Callum’s stepmother, Diana.
"How dare that bitch target that bastard child?!"
