Beastmen weren’t proficient in word battles but things would be completely different if it was a real fight. First, they didn’t intend to attack and take over the city of beasts, though the place was perfectly established, they didn’t want to waste their manpower on useless battles, what they needed now was to establish their own city in his new territory, fights..they’d come up when they were struggling for resources.

Learning this, Sydney heaved a sigh of relief. This had been their greatest worry but it seems like those who were initially lords wanted to keep their titles at all costs.

Seems we don’t have to stay here for long. We have to move and learn what the other former lords plan to do." Sydney said. At the moment, they were seated in the sitting room and discussing their follow up plans.

A castle had been constructed in the heart of the village and beastmen had been working day and night to fortifie their territory. Strong walls stood erect with a few guard posts at top of the walls. The whole place stretched for a few thousand kilometers. Those who were considered first wee naturally the females and all their homes were close to the city’s palace.

It was also on this one special day that Sydney chose to come out after so many days. She didn’t let her mates carry her around and she was at the forefront, them right behind her like bodyguards. The city wa lively with beastmen doing exchange while others returned from hunting.

I didn’t know that other cities also know how to do trade." She spoke looking around. Of course, she didn’t come to parade her beauty and her face was covered with a thin material like a veil.

Though many didn’t get to see her face through the veil, seeing her mates behind her, it was enough for them to know who she is.

Many had been dying to woo her but not only had her mates beaten them off, she also didn’t come outside for a whole month!!! It was extremely depressing for those who had hopes of becoming her mates.

Of course, during his month, Sydney didn’t just stay in the house doing nothing, to put it correctly, she was confined in the house by some hungry beasts. She was only a tiny female, how was she an opponent against seven strong men?!

She had been bullied till she couldn’t even cry! Whom to report her grievances to? There was no one! Even Enzo and his crew joined in on the fun and she could now be considered mates with them once again. Though she didn’t have their marks, their scents were heavy on her and they too now held a heavy possessiveness towards her. Enzo, Greg and Kevin were like husbands from earth, extremely territorial!!!

The number of beastmen flocking this new city begun to grow by the day but their numbers couldn’t equate to that of the city of beasts.

He nodded. "I have a total of thirty six brothers each from a different batch, the last time I checked, there were eight batches, it’s possible that there’s more...but I’m not so sure."

Sydney’s mouth wa agape that it could fit a fist. "That many!!!!" She cried out.

It’s inevitable. The more mates one has the more they are likely to give birth to more cubs. My mother for instance, she had a total of fifty males before I left home, it was only natural for her to have that many cubs.
