Beating Instances through Words Left by the Dead-Chapter 481 - 245: The Last Missing Material_3
Geoffrey looked down at Schultz’s desk, where the countdown, which should have read over thirty, now astonishingly showed 1.
Too many things had accelerated it these days; Mo Ke’s death and the Hymn Hunters’ aggressive actions directly pushed everything to a climax ahead of schedule.
He bowed again and said, "I’ll go convene the meeting right away."
After Geoffrey left, Schultz reached out to Peggy and said, "Bring Sean up."
Ten minutes later, Wu Chang walked into Schultz’s office, doing his best to control his expression and appear confused.
On the True Self’s side, they had already discovered that the item within the Nest had been removed.
As a security advisor and partner with level nine and a half permissions, Mo Ke had no knowledge whatsoever from the item’s appearance in the Nest to its removal. It’s unmistakable who could accomplish this.
The setup on the Nest’s side seemed successful for Schultz. Coupled with the strong premonition he had before, he felt that Schultz’s current invitation was like a Hongmen banquet.
Schultz looked at Wu Chang’s upright posture with a gratified smile on his face, saying:
"I heard the ability activated by your spiritual energy is quite interesting; it caused chaos throughout the entire floor during the first experiment."
Wu Chang said a bit awkwardly, "I should have told them in advance."
Schultz said, "Show me your ability."
With a wave of his hand, Wu Chang conjured a Gluttonous Ant the size of a person before them. Though its size seemed small, it genuinely possessed the Disqualified Domain, and its killing power was not weak.
If Schultz harbored ill intentions, the Gluttonous Ant could serve as a surprise move, an unexpected chess piece.
Schultz scrutinized the Gluttonous Ant projected by Condensing Void into Reality, his eyes gleaming with excitement, his tone particularly thrilled.
"Perfect, absolutely perfect, truly worthy of being level nine."
Wu Chang questioned, "What level nine?"
Schultz shook his head without explaining and said, "Put away your ability. Listen, your ability is special, so unless absolutely necessary, don’t expose it lightly in the future."
Wu Chang nodded with a hint of understanding. What did Schultz mean, calling him here just to see his ability?
Schultz approached the deepest part of the office’s bookshelves and used facial recognition to open a secret door, revealing an elevator behind it.
"Come inside with me."
Wu Chang, sensing no danger from inside the elevator, did not hesitate and followed him in.
Inside the elevator was a single floor button, labeled 100.
Above Hymn Company, there was surprisingly a hidden floor.
Schultz brought Wu Chang to the 100th floor and said, "Wait here for me, I have a matter to deal with and will be back shortly."
Without waiting for Wu Chang to ask questions, he left on his own.
Descending from the 100th floor, Schultz directly arrived at the 99th floor, where a thousand people had gathered, all participants in the Praise Poem project, many of whom were Hymn Company shareholders.
Among them were many familiar faces, such as Moritz, Kohen, and Kaven, as well as the owners of Orens Manor.
They were here to witness the completion of the Praise Poem project.
When Schultz entered, the crowd applauded, their clapping enthusiastic and enduring.
Even a scientist in a wheelchair, who could only type with his fingers, tapped the keyboard, producing a clattering sound.
Why was there a key for making clattering sounds? The answer lay in being leftover from Loli Island.
Schultz looked at the crowd and said, "Ladies and gentlemen, although this happened suddenly and may have caught you off guard, I believe none of you would mind a surprise victory."
This statement sparked another wave of applause from the crowd.
Schultz continued, "Tonight, we shall compose a Praise Poem belonging to humanity, forging the ladder for human ascension to deity, opening a new Chapter for the future!"
At this point, facing the expectant gazes of the crowd, Schultz suddenly changed the subject.
"However, for the completion of the Praise Poem plan, we’re still a bit short on material and need your help."
Moritz asked, "Mr. Schultz, having reached this stage, just say what you need."
A smile spread across Schultz’s face, and he clapped his hands. Geoffrey and others pushed a large transport crate into the meeting room.
Opening the transport crate revealed a transparent glass tank. Inside, submerged in nutrient solution, was a peculiar humanoid embryo.
"I need to borrow a bit of sin from everyone."
