Beast World: Rise to Power with the Offspring System-Chapter 34 - 33 Awakening of Talent
...
The gentle breeze, carrying the natural fragrance of the wild, filled the air as the sky blazed with a fire-like sunset, painting the world in shades of golden red.
Sally sat in the bright courtyard, on a stone bench lined with a thick deerskin blanket, with a fox fur draped over her legs. The scent of roasting meat wafted from the grill in front of her, making her mouth water uncontrollably.
"That smells amazing, you really know how to grill meat," she said.
"If you like it, I can grill it for you every day," he replied.
"Eating it every day would get tiresome, once in a while is enough," Sally said as she inhaled the savory aroma, then turned to Robby, who was busy making boots, "Stop working for a bit, come take a break and we'll have some roasted meat soon."
"Just two more pairs and then I'm done," Robby replied. "Brother Zulu is just amazing, learned to grill meat perfectly after just one try."
"After one try..." Zulu glanced at Sally, "Who grilled it last time?"
"My sister. You even walked off with a leg of deer without finishing," she said.
"Clearly, my grilling wasn't memorable," Sally pouted, "You didn't even remember it."
"My mistake, don't be upset, it's not good for the baby," Zulu immediately tried to sweet-talk her.
Sally touched her belly, "So you're only being so attentive because of the baby, is that it?"
"Of course not," Zulu said while seasoning the deer leg.
He had picked some herbs and spices himself from the Witch Clan, made his own seasoning, and combined it with the fine salt provided by Sally. Sprinkling it into the cuts made on the meat, the aroma instantly became richer.
Watching his skilled movements, Sally fell silent gradually…
Auro came over holding a blue and white rabbit, "Sally, Frost seems to be sick, feel his body, it's burning hot."
Sally took the rabbit, her expression turning worried, "Besides the high temperature, any other symptoms?"
"No," Auro replied.
Zulu wiped his hands with a rough cloth, "Give it to me."
To others, he was the Father Beast of these little ones, the person who loved this group of children the most.
Sally, not willing to let go unless absolutely necessary, also wanted to trust him, unless it meant a confrontation.
"Be careful with him," she said.
"Yeah, I'll take good care of him," Zulu reached out to take Frost, then looked into his clear and pure eyes.
"He has awakened his talent, the Fire Element Secret Technique, Profound Rank," Zulu informed Auro and Sally, "I'll help him organize his Fire Elemental Power, or he might burn himself to death."
With that, he took the rabbit into Sally's cave dwelling.
Sally was astonished, wondering how he could identify talents like that.
Auro was so stunned by Zulu's words, he asked, "Yanyan, what did our good son-in-law just say?"
"He said Frost seems to have a Fire Element Secret Technique, Profound Rank. Dad, do we have any Profound Rank in the Rat Clan?" Sally inquired, as she flipped the deer meat over on the grill.
Auro felt like he must have misunderstood, how could it be a talent of the Profound Rank.
"I'll go and double-check with our good son-in-law," Auro said, following Zulu.
Robby pricked his own hand with the needle he was sewing the boots with, so shocked he didn't even notice he was bleeding, "Profound Rank?!"
Sally tasted the roasted deer meat, "Mmm, not bad, his skills are quite good."
"I'm dying of curiosity, I can't stand it, I'm going to see for myself," Robby hurriedly followed after Zulu.
But Sally, who had already known about her youngest son's talent, calmly continued eating her roasted meat.

Ever since knowing about her pregnancy, Zulu's attitude towards the three little ones had subtly changed.
He had accepted them before, but would avoid touching them if possible, unlike now, when he would take the initiative to hold the children and even organize Frost's Fire Elemental Power.
In the past, he might have coldly watched as little Frost burned himself alive.
Robby returned.
He spoke to Sally with a tone full of admiration, "Brother Zulu is just too incredible!"
"Oh? What's incredible?" Sally asked, her mouth greasy from the meat.
Robby excitedly recounted, "Brother Zulu extracted all the Fire Elemental Power from Frost's body, then condensed it into a tiny Fire Dragon, and put it back inside Frost. It circled around and finally stopped at his left front leg, leaving behind a Fire Dragon's mark, it was so cool!"
Sally slowed down her eating, "Fire Dragon?"
"Yes, you should really have a look," he urged.
"He'll bring him over later, we can see it then. Come on, eat some meat," Sally offered him a piece of grilled meat.
Robby preferred raw meat, but the grilled meat smelled tantalizing, "I'll give it a try."
After one bite, his eyes widened in surprise, "Brother Zulu is a genius, this meat is so delicious, even better than when you grill it."
