BEAST TAMING: OTHERS HAVE MAGIC BEASTS, MINE ARE IMMORTAL BEASTS-Chapter 80 PLEADING
Lady like her master was being overwhelmed by the number of strikes but she is wasn’t going to give up.
She creates a sheet of paper that has a mysterious symbol on it.
Sean suddenly frowns as he senses a chaotic flow of spiritual energy.
BOOM!
The sheet of paper explodes, throwing Leo and the Assassin Mantis away.
Lady recovers but just as Sean expected, her figure was growing smaller each time she recovers.
Not only that, she became even weaker after creating that paper bomb.
She spreads her hands, three paper transforms into shurikens.
She throws them and creates her sword once again.
She doesn’t have that much variety in terms of skill but she’s fast and sharp.
Unfortunately for her, the Assassin Mantis’ scythes are much sharper, her sword can’t cut it off.
The two clashes once more, causing sparks to fly, they aren’t even as the Assassin Mantis was actually losing it’s ground.
She can imitate human movements and has a range of motion that is greater than normal humans.
Leo joins in the fray, he blocks the kicks and palm slap while the Assassin Mantis blocks the shurikens and the sword.
The two works in tandem to force Lady to fight in a defensive manner.
Sean nods his head seeing just how good the understanding of both Leo and his Assassin Mantis is.
It seems that their training has produced some result, defeating them on your own is difficult if you’re at the same rank.
Leo can’t use CQC when he’s fighting with his pet beast.
CQC requires extreme focus, he was only at the entry level where he can only apply the effect on himself.
But even without CQC, all his training forged his body and fighting style to become a carnivore, a beast that pierces through flesh.
Hidden Elbow!
He slices the body of Lady, then, his pet beast followed by slicing her body with it’s scythe.
Once again she regenerates but was stopped by Leo’s elbow strike to her head.
The newly regenerated head was destroyed, the Assassin Mantis then cuts her body into two.
Leo was no longer afraid, he realizes that other then being powerful, the three mystique creatures he knows that had their grades suppressed by their rank have all unique paths and training.
Lady is clearly an intelligent mystique creature, not only that, she fights like a human but she’s lacking in experience and guidance, especially the fact that her master is holding her back.
’Too bad, you’re unlucky!’ Leo pushes more deeply and crushes thr flying paper trying to reassemble themselves once again.
’You don’t have that beast as your master! A natural born hunter that can even escape the detection of bronze rank mystique creatures!’
Another elbow strike!
’You don’t have that abnormal training that doesn’t make sense!’
A kick and a knee strike.
’You don’t even compare to that monster! He can’t be compared with! But what’s more terrifying is that he managed to reach his current strength because of his mentality!’

A simultaneous slicing strike by both him and his pet beast!
’In order to protect his family, he went to the inner core and stayed there for days only with him and his pet beast! He was an iron ranker when he step foot at that place!’

BOOM! His elbow strike was blocked by Sean, the latter shakes his head.
"Top bad, your potential is quite terrifying, if I was your master, maybe I would have obtained another Wuk." Sean mutters.
This shock Leo who was listening, he can’t believe this.
After healing Cheryl and also giving some of his spiritual energy to Lady, he had the two of them return to their seat.
"I declare Leo of City Z5 as the winner of this match!"
Now, only those at City Z1 can be of challenge against Leo.
The people from City Z1 looks at each other and the sixth place decided to take matters on his own hand.
After healing Leo, the sixth place holder jumps into the arena.
Just like those before him, he was wearing the same armor as his group.
"Gerald Vervet from City Z1, sixth place holder, iron ranker, pet beast, Uncommon Grade Living Armor."
Sean nods his head, this person exudes an aura that shouldn’t belong to someone at his age.
He looks at Leo and asks if he’s ready after getting confirmation, he looks at the raring to go Gerald and signals the match, the final match of this competition.
Gerald quicky charges at Leo, the latter also does the same thing, the two of them are raring to go.
The former thinks that if he defeats Leo, he only needs to worry about one fighter while the latter knows that if he defeats his opponent, he’ll gain more recognition, resources to grow and a promise from Sean.

Trick Shot!
Seeing him wind up for an attack, Gerald’s expression changes, he had seen this attack take down Rocky before.
He braced himself and his armor covers his entire body except for his head, hands and feet.
BAM! No powerful attack hit him, only a painful stomp on his foot.
BAM! He punches Leo on the stomach and swings his hand to the side, blocking the Assassin Mantis’ attack.
Leo looks at his opponent, he can’t believe that even after stomping his foot, this person doesn’t react.
Sean smirks, he expected as much, Gerald has the same presence as a veteran soldier and an experienced martial artist.
"Ah!" With a battle cry, Gerald takes a step forward and punches with his right hand.
Leo dodges and takes a step forward, making the distance between them incredibly close, perfect for his elbows and short knee strikes.

’Yes! With this strike! I can leverage my action to produce more powerful strike!’

A loud metal clanking noise was heard, they then see Leo’s elbow hitting Gerald’s two hand which are poised to block his attack, the two arms are covered with his armor.
Sean sees more than what other sees, it’s the feet arrangement of Gerald, they are apart, giving more stability and his hip was also poised to take more blow, dispersing it downward.
’A masterful display!’ Sean inwardly applauds.
The Assassin Mantis dashes towards the lower part but Gerald suddenly grabs Leo and throws him to his pet beast.
Leo grunts as he rolls, his right arm is numbed after the impact.
He can’t use it for now, he needs it to recover or else, his situation will become dire.
"Slicer, take him down!" He shouts.
The Assassin Mantis flies towards Gerald with extreme ferocity but it’s attacks are all blocked by him.
Leo takes a deep breath, taking off his shirt, he ties it to his right arm to support it.
Seeing him like this, Gerald’s eyes lights up and he slaps Slicer away before charging towards Leo.
He was forced to stop after being hit in the face, he looks at Leo who was calmly jumping lightly in his position.
Jab! Jab! Jab!
Gerald had seen this attack but didn’t expect that Leo also knew this attack.
Raising his two arms, he covers them with his Living Armor and advances quickly.
He brute his way towards Leo, not caring about the jabs.
He found a way to bypass the jab but it doesn’t mean anything if he can’t reach his intended target.
Sean taught those that learned jabs another way to fight.
Leo starts moving in a set patter, sending jabs while retreating.
Gerald brushes through the attack with his tough body, after chasing Leo for two minutes, he became excited after sensing his target was now close.
Leo stops running and actually takes a step forward, with his hand punching upward.
Uppercut!
BANG!
Gerald’s head was blown upwards, his head was ringing from the blow.
Slicer was about to finish him off when it’s scythe was blocked by the armor.
Then it becomes spiky, nearly piercing through Leo and Slicer.
Gerald recovers and looks at Leo gravely, that was close, he was nearly defeated.
"Thank you, partner." He mutters before patting his armor.
Leo clicks his tongue, he then takes off the clothes wrapping his right hand.
Clenching and unclenching, he finally feels his hand once again, making him smile.
Leo dashes towards Gerald, this time, the latter didn’t move from his spot and raises his two hands as defense.
CQC Series Number-
He didn’t finish his move when he suddenly feels his balance tilting after Gerald does a leg sweep.
BAM! Gerald sends a punch but was blocked by Leo.
Using his current posture, Leo twists his body and tries to strike Gerald but his elbow was blocked by the Living Armor.
Blood flies, Slicer use this opportunity to slice the leg of Gerald, it knows that with the armor being conscious and having a large coverage, it can only target the far end of the body.
The Living Armor then covers the entire body of Gerald once again except for the head, feet and fists.
Leo clicks his tongue, this is going to be a difficult fight for both him and slicer, Gerald was basically the counter to them.
Never Retreat!
No longer caring about hurting himself, Leo advances, he starts striking everywhere, he wasn’t using vital force to stop his bones from breaking but it was still painful.
’Training! Don’t stop! Treat this the same as training!’ He thought, dodging the strikes of Gerald and sending his own.
Onichichi watching from the audience seat clenches her fists, she knows what Leo was feeling.
Partial Training.
They hit hard objects repeatedly, hardening their bodies by force.
Sean’s healing skill is the reason why they managed to obtain result quickly.
But during the process of training and recovery, the pain was unbearable for most people their age, only with their willpower were they able to keep on going.
’Leo win this!’ She screams in her heart.
Meanwhile, those on City Z1 watched with seriousness, they believe that with Leo’s action, victory is already in their grasp.
’How long has it been? Leo, I don’t know what you had experienced but you’re not the only one that suffered to get where they are now!’ Gerald inwardly roars.
He was no longer attacking, he raises his hand to block any attack coming to his face.
He can’t transform his Living Armor into it’s spiky form because it would reduce the coverage, he’s still worried about Slicer.
Slicer was trying to help it’s master but can’t do much because of the armor so just like it’s master, it was madly attacking Gerald.
’Stronger! I need to be stronger!’ Leo’s movement becomes bigger.
He’s no longer thinking of dodging any attacks and just swings with full force.
He mostly uses elbows, Sean’s confused, so were the others in their city, they know that Leo’s strongest strikes are from his knees.

Gerald doesn’t shake but the bones on Leo’s right hand creaks.
He doesn’t stop, he advances and hits him again.

BANG! This time, the bones in his left hand starts creaking, the pain made him hiss.
Taking a deep breath, he continues striking even with his already aching hands.
Gerald can sense the power behind the strikes had grown weaker and his eyes lights up.
He sends a punch and it finally hits Leo, this made him excited, fighting defensively isn’t his style.
With Living Armor to help him defend, he focuses more in attacks rather than defense.
Once again, he uses his martial arts but Leo was already prepared.
Leo barely dodges it and takes a step forward, raising his right elbow, he strikes with ferocity towards Gerald’s face.

BAM! *CRACK*
Leo’s right hand was entirely broken but he was actually ecstatic.
Sean shakes his head.
’That was the wrong move.... Gerald.’
Slicing motion appears on Gerald’s leg as he feels his balance losing, he realizes something, the ligaments that are supporting his leg and knee was cut.
Using his only hand, Leo grabs him and throws him as far as he can.
This is the last move in his arsenal, he hopes that with this, they can end this battle.

Mountain Destroyer!
He charges towards Gerald who crashes into the floor, sensing danger, he crosses his hands and focused his armor there, creating a spiky shield.
BOOM!
Leo and him were thrown out of bounds, without his legs supporting him, Gerald was unable to stop himself.
He was taken aback, he tries to grab the edge of the arena but he feels a hand coiling around his neck.
Both are out of bounds, leaving only two beings in the arena.
Sean and Slicer.
Sean smiles, he never expect that Leo can still think rationally under such circumstances.
"I declare Leo of City Z5 as the winner of this match!" With this announcement, everyone starts clapping.
Sean has to heal Leo and Gerald, the two of them are too beat up after the battle.
Leo was forced to retire back to their room, after the battle, everyone was now talking about City Z5.
They didn’t expect that a single city without any military background was able to gather so many rare talents.
Other than Bobby, the rest of the fighters shines brightly.
Even Sweet Fruit who lost in his first match was seen as a strong contender.
Back to their room, Sean gives the reward that he gathers from the other cities to the four fighters.
Bobby was feeling depressed, he feels his performance dragged their name.
Meanwhile, the three wants to continue training but Sean stops them and had them rest.
Back on the room of City Z4, every fighter was feeling gloomy, unlike the other cities, they didn’t manage to showcase their strength.
Their reserved fighters are close to reaching Vital Realm but they are still civilians, only the main combatants are martial artists.
"Mistress, should we gather information about that berserker?" Asks a large man which surprisingly is much larger than even the captain of City Z3.
"No, you only see him but I’m actually more interested in knowing that Sean person."
The big man becomes silent before turning to one of them, that person takes off his hat and shockingly, he has a beast ear.
A Beastman!
"I’m sorry but I won’t try to investigate that person, my instinct is telling me that he’s incredibly dangerous." The Beastman speaks in a rather fluent human language.
"I know he’s dangerous and I’m not taking a no for an answer, must I remind you who save you in that predicament of yours?" Her scarlet eyes bores through the Beastman.
In a different room, a group of burly men were working out, some are resting.
"I’ll defeat those skinny fellows and have a bout with that powerful warrior!" Cladiius shouts causing his group to cheer.
Another room.
"Hahaha! As expected of those strange and interesting people, they soundly beat us." John laughs out loud.
"They might beat our substitutes but that doesn’t mean that they can beat us." A beautiful female with an authoritative presence speaks.
"Hahaha! That’s only because that monster isn’t going to participate, if he did, I don’t think that even if we team up against him, we would be able to defeat him." John lightly laughs.
He doesn’t tell everyone that he had made a deal with Sean.
Leaving his group, the smile fade in his mouth as goes out and look up to the sky.
"Raleigh, how do you think the two of us can compare against those monstrous genius?"
In the main building, a group of military were chatting with each other.
Raleigh’s group was there except for the captain himself.
Raleigh was now in his room looking at the mirror, he was running a scar on his chest.
"I wonder if that monstrous genius can compare to that guy? If he’s really as strong as that monstrous genius, I want to know if I had become stronger compared to that time."
Clenching his fist, something comes out of his body, his Living Armor starts shaking, snapping himself out of his thoughts.
Everyone was deep in thought except for Sean, he was having a dilemma, the battles earlier ignites his passionate blood but he can’t vent it.
He can’t fight nor hunt making him feeling stifled.
"What’s wrong, Sean?" Hina lies besides him, she starts knowing him better after they accepted their change of relationship.
"I want to fight too, everyone was growing stronger but here I am, can only stay quiet." He mutters.
"Oh that? I’m also feeling the same thing but someone of my age can be considered a young aunty." She sighs, just like Sean she has a fiery heart.
"If you didn’t stop me, I would have joined the military operation." He pouts, only to have cheek pinched by Hina.
"We can’t trust you in that regards! You’re too passionate to keep your hands to yourself whenever an extremely dangerous situation happens."
"Yes, I agree with big sis, you’re too selfless for your own good!" Yana complains.
"Sean, listen to your sis- I mean wives, they are just caring for you." Tsu shouts while cooking.
Unlike the others, Tsu decided to cook for them and requested it to Fabuki.
"Hahaha! That’s true, after all, during our first adventure into the inner core, you decided to actually hold the enemy back on your own." Chika decided to add fuel to the fire.
"Come on, Chika, you don’t need to torture him, he’s already feeling glum not fighting." Ganko chuckles.
"I want to reach silver rank quickly but the only way for me to do that is to hunt." He looks at the girls with puppy eyes.
"No!" They all said in unison.
He lies back down in an exaggerated manner.
Seeing him like this, the girls can’t help but chuckle, after knowing him, they found out that he’s secretly childish.
The next day.
With what happened yesterday, the winners are now talking to each other.
Mountain was talking to Sweet Fruit about his berserker state, asking if it’s a secret technique.
Unfortunately for him, he realizes that Sweet Fruit was unlike he had expected.
You could say that his name was no longer confusing, he was truly a sweet guy.
Onichichi and Leo has garnered a lot of fans after their performance.
Especially Onichichi, such a small girl and yet she punches as strong as a large man.
With her cute face and short stature, many soldiers are treating her like their little sister much to her dismay.
Bobby was now training with some soldiers, he always loses but this doesn’t stop him from trying.
In the main camp, Sean and the others were having lunch.
"When will the remaining three cities arrive?" Complains Cladiius.
He was munching on mostly meat, in fact, the other fighters in their city were also the same as him.
"From what I heard, it would two to three days before they arrive, some of the soldiers left to escort them here." John states.
He looks at Raleigh for confirmation, the latter nods his head.
"Isn’t that reckless? How can they just leave the boundary outpost just like that?" Asks the captain of City Z4.
Sean wasn’t really surprised, he was listening to their discussion.
Jericho was having a fight with Golden as the two of them fights over their food.
Sweet Fruit was feeding his pet beast with a happy smile, rubbish it’s body gently.
Leo was throwing food at Slicer, playing with him, this had become a routine for them.
Onichichi, just like her per beast, likes to eat sweets as the two of them quickly finishes their plate and asks for desserts.
Kommi was eating in a graceful manner, her pet beast was cutely eating it’s food at her lap.
Emirose was feeding her pet beast and wasn’t eating as fast as everyone.
Missel doesn’t care about her appearance and eats voraciously together with Blazing Emperor.
Bobby, just like before, eats like a pig, basically similar to his pet beast.
Their eating habits earned them some stares, they are quite different from what they expected and they eat besides their pet beast.
"Hey, Sean, do you really think that it’s careless for the soldiers to leave this place in order to escort the remaining teams?" Asks John.
"No." Sean’s answer was concise.
"See? What did I tell you? The higher-ups of this base isn’t that stupid." John snorts.
Sean points at a certain seat and they turn their heads there.
"What are these girls for? Some of them are actually civilian?" Raleigh frowns.
"They’re my family members but I’m not talking about them, I’m talking about the girl who was shoving floating food into her mouth."
They focused on Fabuki.
"Your family is pretty and ahem, have large hearts." John coughs.
Sean looks at him oddly, he can only explain. "That person isn’t a member of my family but our vice principal, as long as her and your own principals and vices are present, the strength of this base will never decrease."
John and the others quickly realizes what was the higher-ups are thinking, they never connected the thought in their minds.
"Considering how strong my principal is and how capable our vice principal is, I can understand why the base decided to send some of their personnel away." John nods his head.
Sean continues in eating, he was deep in thought, what everyone doesn’t know is that, something happened last night.
Last night.
Deep in the night, Sean and the others are sleeping peacefully.
Chika was actually sleeping like a goddess while the person besides her was sprawling, it was Ganko.
Tsu was sleeping next to her daughters, Sean was sleeping next to Wuk.
Outside, Jasmine was cultivating under the moonlight.
Suddenly, she turns her head towards a certain direction, seeing the person, she nods her head and returns back to the room via the window.
Waking Sean up, the latter quickly wakes up but was about to fall asleep once again after hugging her.
Jasmine starts squirming, finally waking him up, confused, Sean finally sits up.
Telling her the situation via their spiritual link, Sean was taken aback but still went out.
"Good evening, principal, is there anything you need?" He asks in confusion.
"Sorry for waking you up but we have something important to talk about, can you come with me?" She asks.
Sean nods his head and the two of them disappears from their spot and reappears inside a spacious room.
"Where are we?" Sean was startled, this place seems to be filled with spiritual energy.
He feels invigorated just by standing here, suddenly, a person appears in front of him.
"So this is our Zone’s hope? The person that would become the third innate in our zone?"

Sean’s powerful burst of energy was felt by everyone in the room.
Strong, incredibly strong, Sean’s heart was beating quickly, this is the strongest person he had encountered, no the strongest being.
Just being in front of him brings so much pressure, no gold ranker had ever made him feel this way.
Sean retreats as quickly as he possibly can and enters a defensive stance.

The man watches with interest, he starts laughing out loud.
"Hahaha! This is the first time I had seen such a sharp young man! He actually perceived my strength, even though just some of it."
The principal slaps her face, she didn’t expect Sean would react like this.
"Don’t be like that, Maki, after all, you reacted much worse when you got a glimpse of the strength of those at our level." The guy teases the principal.
Meanwhile, Sean was sweating heavily, this person in front of him has no openings.
Even while chatting with the principal, he doesn’t see any weak points.
"Sean, calm down, this guy isn’t our enemy, he’s the commander of this base, the only true ranker in our zone, he is-" The man covers Maki’s mouth.
"I’ll introduce myself at a later date, I still want to test you." The man looks at Maki, she can only stand there in silence.
"It seems that Maki hasn’t told you about our plan, no matter, I’ll tell you the plan myself." He calmly said before gesturing to come.
Sean losses control over his body and he starts flying towards the guy.
No matter how much he struggles, he can’t get away from his control, his heart feels cold, once again, he feels incredibly helpless, he didn’t expect that he would encounter such a situation after growing this strong.
"Judging from your reaction and from the information Maki had shared with me, it seems that your the person that can probably overturn the current situation of our zone."
Sean stops resisting but his killing intent was now directed at the heart of this man.
"Stop controlling him with your innate power, it’ll only rile him up." The principal suggests.
The man clicks his tongue and let’s go of Sean, who quickly retreat and starts trying to calm down via Intermediate Cultivation Technique.
"What is it? What’s the so-called plan of yours that involves me?" Sean asks with his body being relaxed but is actually prepared.
’He still hasn’t let down his guard, what a hard-headed young man.’ The man thought.
"We need to reach top three in the competition, we don’t want to abandon this zone and the only way for us to achieve that is to absorb the losing zones." The principal decided to spill the beans.
Sean was shocked by how grand their dream was but since he was also a resident of Zone Z, he can’t help but understand their plan.
Back to the present.
After last night talk, Sean can’t help but feel that he has acquired such a large burden.
He wants to sigh but he can’t showcase any weakness right now, he can only keep to himself.
"By the way, our battle was actually seen by some soldiers and they can’t help but want to teach us." Raleigh shares.
Everyone stops eating and looks at him with a surprised expression.
"Yes, basically, they are inspired by the spirit of those from City Z5 and wishes to share their knowledge to the younger generation."
"I don’t know, Sean, should we?" Jericho turns to Sean.

"I don’t think that I’m going to join, I’m still recovering from the injury yesterday." Leo suddenly said.
Onichichi nods her head. "Me too, I’m probably going to rest back to our room after eating."
Sweet Fruit wishes to join, Bobby too.
Sean listens to them and asks. "Okay, which one of you guys wants to join?"

After a round of discussion, all the main combatants wants to join since they have nothing better to do.
Sean nods his head, Onichichi’s situation is quite different, she has to walk her own path, right now, she’s studying about commonly seen mystique creatures to learn about their weaknesses.
Leo was already done in that point and was actually trying to increase his rank, he doesn’t have time to listen to any so-called lessons.
As long as he reach the high tier in iron rank as fast as possible, he can contend against Kommi and Bones.
Taking over the top three might be impossible but being equal to the fourth and fifth position is already a dream come true for him.
While the two went back to their respective room, the rest of the students were brought to the training area of the soldiers.
Sean starts to look around and can’t help but feel that both primitive and advanced type of training is present at the moment.
Most of the soldiers are wearing Living Armor, only some have mystique creatures to their side.
Sean is getting more and more intrigued about the creation of such mystique creature.
"Greetings, platoon leader!" Raleigh salutes at one of the soldiers, the rest of his team follows suit.
The others student doesn’t know what to do, those from City Z5 turns to Sean and seeing him calmly standing there, they decided not to copy their fellow students.
The soldiers nods their head seeing the nervous looks of some of the students.
They then turn to the winning team but seeing they are curiously looking at their surroundings without even a hint of tension, the soldiers are a bit surprised.
Sean turns to Jericho and says. "Watch carefully later, the way the soldier hunts are different from the way we hunters hunt but we can learn from them."
Jericho nods his head, Missel suddenly asks. "Why do I feel that I’ll be more comfortable being a soldier than a solo hunter?"
"Probably because your training and mindset are more suited to a clan, making it not much different in fighting with the army, only a little bit more lax in their rules."
"I think being a hunter is much better." Bones states.
"That’s probably true for people like you, me and Jericho." Sean states.
The soldiers then brought them to their designated teaching area.
