Beast Taming: I Can Evolve Indefinitely-Chapter 646 - 641: The Indescribable Thing
Chapter 646 -641: The Indescribable Thing
Witnessing the sudden transformation of the death tentacle, Bai Qi felt a shiver crawl up his spine.
This shape, strikingly similar to a memory of a certain ancient god who particularly enjoyed driving people insane with incessant chatter in their souls.
No, not just similar, it was an exact match.
“Even the ancient god appeared. So, Shankou Mountain was not fooling us after all.”

Bai Qi murmured.
“Bai Qi, stay alert. This peculiar dragon feels extremely dangerous,”
...
Nicholas voluntarily distanced from the death tentacle and came up to Bai Qi’s side.
“Dragon? Nicholas, you see a dragon?”
Startled by Nicholas’s comment, Bai Qi turned to look at the Dragon of Silent Annihilation and other creatures as if a thought occurred to him.
“What do you all see?”
“Reporting to the boss, what I see is a plant.”
Burble burble.
(Master, Gamma sees an Eastern Dragon.)

“Does everyone see something different?”
Now, Bai Qi understood. Meanwhile, Lin Fugui took this opportunity to join Bai Qi and asked, “Bai Qi, how did you end up here?”
Bai Qi looked a little embarrassed at Lin Fugui’s question, then glanced sideways, replying, “Luck, pure luck.”
Seeing this, Lin Fugui couldn’t help but smile, then looked at the forceful death tentacle and said, “From the looks of it, do you all see something different?”
“Exactly, Lin Chuanqi, do you know why?”
Continuously nodding, Bai Qi asked.
“I do know some things, after all, there are many myths about these indescribable objects.”
Lin Fugui slightly acknowledged.
“Indescribable objects?”
Bai Qi was more curious than ever, becoming a real question machine, “Isn’t this the avatar of death?”
When Bai Qi asked, instead of hastily explaining, Lin Fugui said, “As the name suggests, indescribable objects are things that can’t be described by words.”
“These things are not creatures, not energy, but they do exist. What we see is just the manifestation of an image deep in our hearts.”
Bai Qi then realized why the death tentacle appeared as the ancient god to him, it was an image from deep within his heart.
Suiting the vision to the mind.
“So, are you saying this death is also one of those indescribable objects?”
Lin Fugui slightly nodded and responded, “Precisely speaking, in our legends, all these indescribable objects are avatars of death.”
“So, what should we do now?”
Bai Qi turned towards the bobbling death tentacle, which, though not initiating an attack, seemed to be adjusting to something.
And on the other side, the eleven knights, each outputting all the power of death, were kneeling down, reverently whispering something.
The aura of the eleven knights was just about at the level of the legendary combat power, possibly higher. But for Lin Fugui, it was not a significant issue.
The most pressing issue was the death tentacle.
“I have already contacted Starlight. I am not sure if they will make it on time. The Bing Yu group will probably send reinforcements.”
Lin Fugui peered deeply at the death tentacle, then turned to Nicholas and said, “In the meantime, let’s try to subdue it.”
“Leave this strange thing to me, that metal lump is yours.”
Nicholas confidently thumped his chest.
He had just advanced to a demi-god, and continuous battles helped him to control his new power quickly. Although the death tentacle was stronger than before, Nicholas was not intimidated.
“Alright.”
Lin Fugui slightly nodded, and the Scythe of Death and Green Wood Dragon Butterfly moved together, charging towards the eleven knights.
“It’s too late, my master has arrived.”
The knight summoned his knight sword which effortlessly parried the attack of the scythe and created an opportunity for him to retreat.
As the Scythe of Death prepared to counter-attack, it unknowingly entered the attack range of the death tentacle.
Looking at the Scythe of Death and the Green Wood Dragon Butterfly, both emanating vibrant vitality, the death tentacle’s numerous eyes revealed a glint of greed as it promptly lunged at the Scythe of Death.
Spotting this, the Scythe of Death and the Green Wood Dragon Butterfly opened their canopy to block the attack. However, their attempts were as futile as paper in front of the death tentacle, crumbling at the slightest touch.
Just then, Nicholas came to the rescue, intercepting the death tentacle’s attack, protecting the Scythe of Death and the Green Wood Dragon Butterfly.
“Ugly creature, you’re dealing with me!”
Nicholas grabbed the tentacle with both claws, and opened his mouth to unleash a Jade Breath. Meanwhile, the Jade Imprint flickered, transmuting countless Jade Powers into blades, striking towards the numerous eyes on the tentacle.
Nicholas’s attack easily pierced the eyes of the death tentacle, but it seemed unfazed, reaching out with more tentacles and entangling Nicholas.
Witnessing this, Lin Fugui wanted to assist, but on spotting the eleven knights silently retreating further into the forest, he switched his aim.
The Death Round Table’s eleven knights surely were the central circle of the Death Round Table, at the very least, pivotal figures.
Capturing him could perhaps lead to the arrest of other members of the Death Round Table.
Realizing his plan had been discovered, the Eleventh Knight no longer tried to conceal it, swiftly withdrawing. However, he was clearly slower than the Scythe of Death and was soon caught.
“It seems that we were somewhat unprepared.”
The Eleventh Knight stopped in his tracks. As tendrils emerged unendingly from the ground, he changed his tactics, surprisingly launching the first attack, and began to tangle with Lin Fugui’s two beasts.
“I mean, what exactly are we getting worked up for?”
Bai Qi glanced at Nicholas, then at Lin Fugui, and shrugged helplessly.
Neither of these two battles were ones he could participate in; he could only stand by and watch.
As for the instigator of this event, Bai Qi felt a bit guilty.
Should he let Alpha and the others step in to help?
No, the Dragon of Silent Annihilation doesn’t last long. There probably won’t be enough time.
“Alpha, how much longer can you maintain the Dragon of Silent Annihilation?”
Bai Qi asked.
Clatter, clatter.
(Before it was up to thirty seconds, now with the help of Gamma and Beta, it should be able to last about five minutes.)
“Five minutes? That’s enough!”
Bai Qi nodded, slightly, pointed in the direction of the Eleventh Knight, and said, “First, catch that guy, then let’s handle the Death Tentacle together!”
Clatter, clatter.
(Understood!)
Alpha nodded, unfurled the wings of the Dragon of Silent Annihilation and flew towards the Eleventh Knight like a sharp sword.
Roar!!!
But before Alpha could even approach, a roar echoed directly within the souls of Bai Qi and the others. The sharp sound almost knocked Bai Qi unconscious.
“This effect, it’s way more terrifying than Beta’s Soul Whisper!”
Clutching his throbbing head, Bai Qi looked towards the Death Tentacles to see Nicholas disgorging a piece of tentacle from his mouth, disgustingly spitting it aside.
“Ugh, it tastes awful, I’ll definitely have to rinse my mouth out later!”
Nicholas, somewhat disgusted, glanced at the Death Tentacles that were actively distancing themselves from him, gathered his strength, forcefully broke free from the tentacles’ shackles, and continued his attack.
“My, my, when did Nicholas get so fierce?”
Bai Qi was impressed. His growth was noted to be rapid, but compared to Nicholas, he paled in comparison.
From being thrashed by Old Lady Fan at the beginning to now easily crushing the Death Avatar, this progress was simply terrifying.
“As expected of Nicholas, a Five-colored Dragon. His combat power is truly extraordinary.”
Lin Fugui was eagerly captivated by the scene. His expectations for the Insect Dragon rose even higher.
After he returned this time, he resolved to ask Nicholas for some Green Dragon Bloodline.
That’s what Lin Fugui thought to himself. But when he saw how the Eleventh Knight, completely relaxed, was fighting his two pets, he suddenly felt a chill.
The deity he worshipped was being crushed by Nicholas, but as a follower, he didn’t budge at all.
Lin Fugui didn’t believe this guy was a fake believer, so the only explanation was that he had utmost confidence in the Death Tentacles.
Boom…boom…boom…
Sure enough, just as Lin Fugui figured out the reason and was about to warn Nicholas, dozens of tentacles emerged again from beneath the ground.
These tentacles were identical to the previous ones. They indiscriminately attacked their surroundings as soon as they appeared. The already shattered tentacles dissolved into the Power of Death and returned to their original bodies.
“So, the thing called death has an immortal body?”
Bai Qi frowned at this sight. Looking at the tentacles emerging from the ground and shaking, he finally understood why his teachers were so apprehensive about the Death Round Table.
Aside from some specific attributes, most powers would be eroded when they encountered the Power of Death. And coupled with this undying feature, in a battle of attrition, nobody would be a match.
“Just as I thought, there are more tentacles hidden underground.”
It didn’t come as a surprise to Nicholas. A flash of light enveloped him and the massive Elf Ancestral Land was completely covered in Jade Imprints.
“Take this, Thousand Dragons Slash!”
Nicholas spread his wings, enveloped in a jade light, rushing like a blade toward the Jade Imprint in front of him.
Then, the silhouette of Alpha appeared out of all the Jade Imprints at the same time, rushing towards the surrounding Death Tentacles.
For a moment, shadows of dragons flickered all over the sky. Their powerful forces cut all the Death Tentacles into pieces. They fell to the ground, the Power of Jade attached itself to the Power of Death, competing for vitality.
“Good brother, reliable!”
Seeing this, Bai Qi couldn’t help but give Nicholas a thumbs-up. He was reminded of the other Five-colored Dragon in his own secret territory.
Even though both possessed Five-Colored Giant Dragon Bloodline, the gap between them was vast.
Nicholas’ Thousand Dragons Slash was far more powerful than anyone had expected. The once menacing Death Tentacles were instantly crushed; fragments scattered all over the ground.
But Nicholas didn’t stop. Instead, he kept attacking, intending to seal the Death Tentacles once and for all.
Just then, the ground covered with tentacle fragments suddenly collapsed, and everything in the Elf Ancestral Land shattered like a flower in a mirror, revealing another world.
This world was similar to the Elf Ancestral Land, but was littered with ruins. The most shocking thing, though, was the remains of numerous giant dragons amidst the ruins.
Beneath the Elf Ancestral Land, there was actually a Dragon’s Graveyard!
