Barbaric Spouse, Descry the Night's Lure-Chapter 155: Scene CLV
Blank stare fell on the mattress she had laid.
Quiet, Dorothea thought of the man who without her permission had married another. And yet... she smiled.
"Rhea, as soon as Selene sees my man walk out of his chamber inform me. Even if he is with the woman."
"... My Princess..."
"It will be fine. This King already ’warned’ me he did not want trouble... I am to do as he wishes... partially, of course."
Aware that the small servant was concerned about the schemes in her head, the Princess reassured Rhea that there would be control over her actions.
"I also want to have fun. This place has been a bore without my wild man... to think I was prohibited from going to his residence because the dangers were too great if not taken by no less than himself... Aah~ I can imagine... his strength would break a beast’s neck with ease... yet no other can... and therefore, I was deprived of seeing him... Those hills did announce death." — Sadenned by the reasons given to her, Dorothea sighed heavily at the recall of the sight she found after doing the opposite as warned, becoming displeased right after. — "However that woman was able to get there for he offered an escort... she has been with him the time I was meant to... and drank his seed for free... Northern whore. She ought to be feeble and a disgrace to the eye. Not even a weapon she can handle I may bet!"
*Crash!*
"... Princess Dorothea–"
"We will feed another town for it, who cares! Distasteful woman! She took my man away and she dares visit where I am a guest!!! Death will not suffice to pay her insolence! Her hands shall be burned and her face will be ripped by the beaks of crows!! I will send men to rape her so she regrets she once had my man inside her!!"
Indignated, historical yells were let out by the Princess, falling out of breath, leaning on the table she had knocked out of valuable decorations to pause and find a hint of calmness.
"... Ewelina... such a common and dull name..." — Dorothea then mumbled. Pausing once more to order with a more settled voice. — "Serve more tea."
"Yes." — Proper, the servant Rhea commenced drifting to do as her owner said. However, it was once before the doors that her steps halted, turning immediately to announce to the Princess. — "They have left their chambers. Selene is to follow them."
"!? Forget the tea. Bring my tunic!"
Brightening immediately, the Princess swirled on her feet to dismiss the robe, taking her long blonde hair in her beautiful hands to tie it with a long hairpin. Quick, Dorothea prepared to peek at the man she desired; blushing at her reflection in the looking glass... thinking of the pleasure the sight of the man would bring to her being.
"Show me his whereabouts."
Excited, the Princess followed the servant that would lead her where the sibling watched the Archdukes, and it was once Selene came into view that she rushed to the window where she had view of the outside square. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
"Where is he." — Anticipation made her lean over, searching for the black hair of the Archduke she adored. — "Where..... Where are you, my wild man..."
"Fatædi, what are you looking at. Come here."
"....."
"Ah... husband, I believe there is a fountain to that side..."
"Didn’t you want to see the kid?"
"... We also can stroll around the Palace."
"..... Then that should go before meeting the kid. She’ll be stuck to your hand and become troublesome."
"My goodness..."
"....... Don’t touch him." — From above, Dorothea mumbled. Watching disgusted how the woman took the hand the man had unfolded for her to take. — "Shameless fingers... you shall lose them, pediculous whore."
Continuing to observe the peaceful married couple, the smile of a usually frowning man was caught, and then his hand was witnessed as he took the woman’s waist attempting to groom her, for kisses were not allowed for others to see.
"...... Rhea, Selene."
"Yes, Princess." — In unison, the sisters resounded to her call. And still with gaze fixated on the Archduke’s, Dorothea ordered new instructions.
"I want to know everything they do. Tomorrow, you shall make it so in their path they will find me... I shall act wonderfully... that hand... will only touch my body after I kill her."

An afternoon of strolls around the Palace was requested by the wife.
Her wish to spend common time with the unwilling man as they did during their travel pushed her to request it... and the man agreed... only after being convinced by the sweet seduction of his wife.
"Can’t we go back now? You’ve seen the fountain."
"... Is husband in a hurry to go back to our chambers?"
"Yes."
"... Even if we go back later, I am to keep my word..."
"The sooner the better." — Crossed-armed, Aslak sneered.
"However... dinner will not come until later..."
"No matter."
"... Goodness..."
Standing from the side of the fountain, Ewelina sighed in disbelief at the persistence of the husband in accomplishing a simple promise.
"I did not know it was something you would be this adamant about."
"You said you would seat on my lap all I wanted if we left the chambers. It doesn’t matter if dinner isn’t served."
"... Yet I offered such because husband wanted me to seat on his lap while having our meal..."
"You said all I wanted not whenever I wanted."
"..... Husband pays attention to the oddest details."
"And wife’s trying to take away her promise. Don’t try further, Ewelina. Getting the kid off our back already messed up my patience."
Coming to stand before him, the woman looked up at the tall condescending man, attentively observing his brows furrow together while his edges demonstrated dislike at what he believed Ewelina was avoiding.
After a quiet stare, small giggles left the Archduchess, whose hand graciously lifted to hide the laughter. Lastly glimpsing at the spouse to come closer and unfold his crossed arms so she could take the arm and aid his hurry.
"Husband has made quite the effort to grant this wife’s wishes... let us go back. Honestly, I am a tad weary... We ought to rest more to regain the energy lost on our journey here to the North."
"... You’re still tired?"
"... I am not as accustomed as my spouse is to long travels."
"..... It’s only ’cause you’re weak." — The scowl of the man came off as a pout to the woman, for he looked down, tracing her figure as he made it so the fingers would intertwine with hers... as he had learnt to like. — "You’re small too."
"... Am I that weak? During the days at Hœttr Hills... I believe my speed and force developed slightly."
"Wife did well back then. You followed my voice well, Fatædi." — Pleased to recall, Aslak said. Becoming more glad as he saw the cheeks of the woman earn fruity colour to his compliment. — "... It was nice to see."
"... Blessed thee earth... if husband is who says it, I am to believe and feel proud of it."
"... Fatædi. When we go back, it will be the same."
"Uh? What does that mean?"
"As many beasts will roam the Hills... Although, they will be full grown instead of just born."
"..... Those were just born?"
"Aie."
Becoming pale at the notice her husband was indifferently delaying, Ewelina swallowed dryly... fearful of their journey back to the home at the South East.
