The moment Nan Hua entered the car, she noticed Nan Hai Yan was sitting beside her.

"Father," Nan Hua called out.

Nan Hai Yan nodded at Nan Hua, looking at his daughter carefully. Seeing that there was nothing amyss from Nan Hua’s expression, he felt relieved. He was worried that the observation from the past few days would affect Nan Hua.

She had been in the military academy for the past two weeks, so she didn’t have the time to buy anything for Nan Xian Mu. Besides, as an orphan who didn’t have birth certificate, Nan Hua would not celebrate birthday and didn’t pay much attention to this celebration.

The people in that organization were too busy to survive every single day.

Who would have time to care about some kind of party that would not give them any benefit whatsoever?

"I didn’t," Nan Hua answered in a low voice and lowered her head.

Nan Hai Yan knew that Nan Hua must have forgotten about it when she was trying hard to catch up. With his status, he could get Nan Hua’s examination’s report each week, so he could see Nan Hua’s improvement in the past two to three weeks.

He was sure that his daughter is busy training and didn’t have time to care about the matter of Nan Xian Mu’s birthday party.

"Let’s go to the mall first. Xian Mu would be happy to receive birthday present from you." Nan Hai Yan tapped the separate window, signaling for the driver to go to the mall first.

He was not driving today because Nan Hai Yan was in the academy for the sake of mission too. There was some discussion about the recent attack and just when they were prepared, there was no anomaly whatsoever.

It felt as if the three attacks before were nothing but dreams.

The car headed to the nearby mall and the two of them went inside. There were not many people today in the mall and Nan Hai Yan looked at his daughter with a smile. "What do you want to buy for Xiao Mu?"

Nan Hua blinked her eyes. "I don’t know what he liked."

"What Xiao Mu liked?" Nan Hai Yan thought for a bit. "He liked money and games a lot. However, you shouldn’t give him money directly for his birthday. That’s a bit rude and tacky. The games he liked should be the various games in the Virtual World, so it’s a bit hard to buy anything related to it."

Nan Hua nodded.

Even though Nan Hai Yan spent a lot of time outside, he still understood his children well to know their preferences. As a father, he might not be able to spend so much time with his children, but he tried to understand and accommodate them.

"Have you thought of something?" Nan Hai Yan looked around and his eyes landed on the clothing department. "You can also buy him some clothes. I know his size. As for color, he liked flashy and colorful color."

Nan Hua looked at the clothing department.
