Astral Flower-Chapter 512: Failure
Taking it out was not easy.
Both Tang Si Qin and Nan Hua worked carefully yet as quickly as possible. They didn’t have much time and this was their first attempt.
The flesh was slowly dug out and it could be seen that taking it out was not easy. It was not possible for them to hold the coating with the scalpel or other things because this thing could be easily damaged by anything other than flesh.
When they made the coating, the purpose was simply to stop these flesh from damaging the chip to let the chip able to last much longer.
But how much longer it was, they didn’t know.
The death rate of the members in the organization was exceptionally high. Even in the section 5 where Tang Si Qin came from, many of the people there were young. The oldest whom Tang Si Qin knew were only 30 something years old.
No one seemed to be older than that.
And if there were someone who was older, it was usually people who joined the organization midway for various reasons.
Either voluntary or forced.
Both are possible.
"It’s almost done," Tang Si Qin said quickly.
"Yes." Nan Hua looked at the connection that they had separated and felt that it was so easy. Did they do something wrong or it was fine to cut off these connection just like that?
Nan Hua was not entirely sure.
*jerk*
The body suddenly jerked.
"His heart goes into shock." Tang Si Qin quickly took out the shock from the cart and wanted to resuscitate the student.
Nan Hua saw Tang Si Qin’s action but didn’t move towards it. She only probed the inside of the student’s head through her mental strength. The connection that was made for the chip was visible in her mind.
"It’s useless."
After a few tries, the student was still not breathing. Tang Si Qin frowned and wanted to try more, but Nan Hua raised her hand.
"There’s some connections left."
"Damn, there are so many?" Tang Si Qin cursed in a low voice and then walked back to Nan Hua’s position.
At this time, Nan Hua had already taken out the entire chip out of the student’s head. But it was clear that there was burnt on the chip, which meant that it had already entered self destruction mode.
Tang Si Qin’s expression turned dignified. "Do you want to keep it?"
"I have taken picture of the incomplete chip before it was destroyed," Nan Hua said. Her eyes remained cold and indifferent. "Dispose of it."
"Ok."
It was a failure.
Nan Hua knew very well that this task was not easy from the very beginning. But it was a bit frustrating to fail at the critical juncture. She looked at the time in her light brain and found that it was already 14 minutes.
They worked fast, but they overlooked something.
Not to mention, they didn’t know whether the student’s brain was damaged or not after being poked around by the two of them. It was estimated that the situation was not very good, though.
Nan Hua’s eyes flashed with coldness.
Even with their skills and preparation, it was not so easy to take out the chip.
The organization used these chips to control countless people, not letting them escape in the slightest bit. How could it be so easy for them to take it out?
Nan Hua had purposely picked everyone whom she knew the best from the organization.
Because this was the only way it might be possible for them to get out of the organization’s clutch.
But fact proved that even if they were the best in the organization, it was not so easy to do it. Their skills had not become so heaven defying to the point they were able to create miracles.
But even if there was a trace of anger and frustration within her heart, she suppressed it completely until nothing was left. She was not allowed to have emotional up and down because at that time, the monitoring from the chip would be triggered.
This was one of the reasons why they were all always very careful in their words and deeds.
No one dared to stay far away to do something they shouldn’t.
Because they could never know when the monitoring was turned on unless when they have emotional up and down.
And if there was any trace of them going agains the organization was found, then the chip could be activated manually by the monitor to kill them.
Their lives have always been in the border of life and death no matter whether they liked it or not.
Nan Hua made her way to the large room.
She found Feng Yu Hua was there and the latter smiled and waved her hand when she saw Nan Hua. "Come over here. It has almost settle down outside."
"Um." Nan Hua nodded and stopped not far where Feng Yu Hua was located.
Feng Yu Hua was sitting leisurely and looked at the other students, who were discussing about what happened outside. No matter where they were, these people all liked to gossip and Feng Yu Hua would listen in to get some information that she might require.
Well, it was more like because she had nothing else to do but to wait and listen to the talk of these boys.
"How is it?" Feng Yu Hua asked. She found that the code that she had prepared before was used and the monitoring had returned to normal by now.
Tang Si Qin was already back while the student from before had already entered the recovery cabin. She was not sure how Tang Si Qin would cover up what they did before, but she guessed that the two of them should have discussed the method for this action.
"Failure," Nan Hua said simply.
Her tone was calm and composed, no one would be able to detect her emotion from her words.
But from the result alone, Feng Yu Hua knew that it was not good. She sighed and said, "It’ll be better."
