Apocalyptic Beastworld: A Farming Space Dimension to Another World-Chapter 27: Zhou Yunhan

As the two of them waited for each other’s reply, time passed unknowingly. Su Yining gradually noticed that the reply took too long this time even when her Yuanyuan was standing right beside the mailbox post.

She frowned. Is the developer so stingy? It turns out that three messages per day refer to her messages and Yuanyuan’s messages each.

She let out a sigh, a little bored. Her obedient silver wolf cub had taken his time to plant the rice field, so she had nothing she could do. Fortunately, today was a day off and she didn’t plan to go out at all.

He exited the inner space. Su Yining followed, noticing that Xie Ziyuan was inside the watchtower.

Hmm, a tower? She seemed to see such a building in the game shop. When she checked, she was astonished by the sheer cost of it.

A freaking 3000 gold coins? Does the developer want to rob her?!

Even the difficult mission of recruiting twenty new residents only gave her 300 gold coins. Her base was in its infancy phase, so it seemed that roping people in was not easy.

Su Yining took a closer look at the tower and was a little stunned. She coughed, suddenly was a little guilty because she had scolded the developer without finding out the reason first.

The tower turned out to be... electric power. She read its description. A high tech tower which could convert lightning power into electric power.

She exited the farming space and scanned the castle and fortress. All places were dark. She even saw some beastmen who hadn’t gone to sleep almost stumbling due to the darkness.

Yuanyuan’s base definitely needs this tower!

She had to try to get this building for him.

"Master Xie," Zhou Yunhan greeted Xie Ziyuan with a smile. "You are still awake?"

The black panther was sitting beside the gigantic elephant, stretching himself. His joints all feel so sore even after he had gotten some hours of sleep.

The elephant’s skin was rough, and the meat wasn’t as delicious as other fierce beasts. But it had a lot of meat, and could help to feed a lot of people.

The other beastmen had heard that Xie Ziyuan was entering seclusion, so they agreed to do shifts to guard the base. Just this morning he had exchanged shifts with the leopard.

He needed to keep watch over the elephant’s meat that hadn’t been moved to the underground ice cellar while the other beastman would walk around the fortress.

Even after they spent the entire day chopping the elephant meat into smaller pieces, they still hadn’t finished. Its outer skin was incredibly hard, making the task of peeling the skin alone a challenging experience.

They might be able to make some pieces of durable clothing from it later.

Xie Ziyuan hummed. He noticed that the ghostly woman had followed him exiting the inner space before she went back inside.

"What’s your ability?" Xie Ziyuan suddenly asked. Inwardly, he was keeping track of his inner space. He wanted to see what that ghostly woman was planning to do.

Soon, he received an answer. She was putting another plot of land and planting another rice field. The fifth plot.

Her presence suddenly disappeared and he could feel her watching his conversation with Zhou Yunhan.

He thought about it. In order to convince the ghostly woman to take her rice, perhaps he should let her see that he could hunt things on his own. Does she still think that he was the weak snake she rescued?

She should be able to hear their conversation.

"I can summon and control lightning, Master Xie." Zhou Yunhan answered, a bit proud. However, when he remembered that Xie Ziyuan could shatter his cage into dust just by touching it, he subconsciously restrained himself.

Unbeknownst to the two beastmen, Su Yining widened her eyes in a surprise delight when she heard about Zhou Yunhan’s ability. Lightning! There was already a worker available for the electric tower.

"Then, you have a good offensive power." Xie Ziyuan commented.

"It’s nothing." Zhou Yunhan shrugged. "I am still nothing compared to you, Master Xie. I can’t kill such a huge elephant on my own yet."

Su Yining blinked, and she just realized that the dark shadow whose shape was almost unrecognizable was actually an elephant? Although its wide ears were already gone, indeed she could still see its long trunk.

She poked the elephant curiously. It didn’t move. That thing was already dead.

This game was a little bit confusing sometimes. It was supposed to be a farming game for most ages, but some things weren’t suitable for kids. For example, the killing scenes.

She just felt that it wasn’t something they should show to kids. Su Yining exited the game briefly, wanting to check its age rating. She was a little stunned when she saw it had changed.

Or did she remember it wrong? Now, one had to be an early adolescent to play the game at least.

She tilted her head and sighed. It didn’t matter anyway, as long as they corrected it. The game developer might be new and wasn’t that experienced yet.

Xie Ziyuan continued to probe Zhou Yunhan’s identity while showing off slightly to the ghostly woman.

"Where do you come from?" Xie Ziyuan raised his perfect eyebrows. "Someone with your ability shouldn’t have been easily captured by those small beastmen traffickers."

Zhou Yunhan still had the same relaxed smile on his face. "Master Xie is right. I was deeply injured and had just entered the forest to run when they captured me."

He paused for a bit before continuing, "But you don’t need to worry. I have nowhere to go." A complex expression crossed by his face.

"Master Xie intends to recruit more people, right? Your power is really amazing..." he trailed off. "If you can teach me how to improve my power, I can be of help to hunt more fierce beasts in the future."

Xie Ziyuan curled the corners of his lip. This Zhou Yunhan better be an obedient subordinate if he wanted him to teach him. However, thanks to him. That ghostly woman should have heard that he was the one who had hunted the elephant, right?

Su Yining blinked, a little astonished. She once again analyzed this small mountain which was an elephant. Something as huge as this monster was conquered by her Yuanyuan alone?!

He was so amazing! Her heart couldn’t help but feel a bit proud when she thought about it. She suddenly recalled his previous words about letting her use the rice as she wished.

She wandered to the farming space, watching as the rice plants grew more lush.

"You use all the white rice. I can still feed them."
