"There’s a child here!" Su Shu said awkwardly, taking two steps back and warning someone with her eyes not to touch her casually.

Tang Zelin propped up his head and winked at the little girl playing with toys beside him, making Xiao’ai giggle with laughter. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

"I really like your little aunt, but sadly, she likes someone else."

"Tang Zelin! Will you ever stop?"

"It depends if you agree to my request."

"It’s just a request, take it, take it, I owe you a chance to have a request fulfilled, okay?"

Tang Zelin chuckled, "A promise spoken must be honored."

"A gentleman’s word is his bond!"

"Good, straightforward!" Senior Colonel Tang applauded her.

Su Shu took a deep breath, feeling her eyelid twitch, "You’re not hiding some evil scheme, are you? I won’t do anything illegal or unethical."

Tang Zelin sat up straight, smiling cunningly, "That’s definitely not the case, don’t worry, and I’ll ask you to fulfill it soon, it’s easy, a piece of cake for you."

Su Shu suddenly felt both of her eyelids twitching...

With Tang Zelin there, Su Shu didn’t find the time to change her clothes. Wearing outdoor clothes inside made her feel stuffy and uncomfortable. Seeing her about to cook in that outfit, Tang Zelin stopped her.

"Aren’t you going to change into something more comfortable?"

Su Shu glanced at him, "How can I change with you here?"

Tang Zelin raised an eyebrow, "What’s stopping you from changing just because I’m here?"

Su Shu: "..."

Group Captain Tang: "..."

After a few seconds of silence, Su Shu looked around and picked up the hammer from the ground, handing it to Tang Zelin, "Take this hammer back to Brother Luo."

Obediently, Tang Zelin took the hammer but didn’t move, still watching her, "Aren’t you uncomfortable like that?"

"I gave you the hammer."

"I know, but I’m asking you, aren’t you uncomfortable cooking in that?"

Su Shu exploded, "You go return the hammer, and I’ll change my clothes!"

Hearing this, Tang Zelin sighed deeply, turned his head towards Xiao’ai, and said, "See, your little aunt’s temper isn’t small despite her size. I care about her, and she yells at me. Poor Brother-in-Law is so pitiful."

"Giggle giggle giggle..." Xiao’ai couldn’t stop laughing.

Tang Zelin’s eyes narrowed; he couldn’t help but reach out and tousle the little girl’s hair, "Xiao’ai cares for her Brother-in-Law. I’ll go deliver this, be good at home, and I’ll bring back something delicious for you later."

Xiao’ai raised her little hand to wave "bye-bye."

Before leaving, Tang Zelin gave Su Shu a look of grievance.

Left stunned in the same spot, Su Shu questioned, what was that look he gave her?

There’s such a big difference between Senior Colonel Tang behind closed doors and the one outside, Tang Zelin, does your dad know about your acting so reserved?

Down the mountain, Luo Gang was somewhat surprised to see Tang Zelin return.

Luo Gang at the door heard her and slapped his forehead as he remembered, "Group Captain Tang, good that you’re here, don’t go yet, let’s carry the new furniture up, that one in Sister Su’s room, it’s the one that was made when she first moved into the security area, it’s too small and not very useful now."
