Apocalypse Landlord: My Tenants Are All Beautiful Heroines.-Chapter 68: Bird Watch
"My lord, you called?" Milarel asked, bowing her head before Aiden.
"Wait outside," Aiden replied, furiously scrubbing his body, especially his crotch.
Mila clicked her tongue, but walked out of the shower. She had expected perhaps Aiden would want to relive a forgotten moment when he called for her. Yet, he just threw her out.
Meanwhile, Aiden remained oblivious to Milarel’s desires. Only the burden of his actions was on his mind for the moment.
He had done something out of anger, only to regret it after cooling down.
"Stupid vampire bitch..." he muttered, remembering his rendezvous with Amaela.
As he did, his little brother got excited all over again, betraying his emotions. The disgust only intensified when he thought about why it happened. After all, if he wasn’t aroused by her, none of it would have happened. It was his own fault for losing control.
Aiden needed something to take his mind off Amaela. Thankfully, he had plenty of options. After a quick wipe and change of clothes, he walked out of his room, gesturing Milarel to follow him.
"Mila? What are you doing here?" Karina, who was returning to the apartment, asked.
Without waiting for an answer, Karina turned her stare toward Aiden. Even after their morning ritual, the man was still going around fooling with other women?
While he had good stamina, that didn’t mean he could go around fucking women. He didn’t even spare the innocent Mila!
The plan failed! I must inform Alisha about it. We need to change our tactics!
The early morning lesson was just a facade. Although the women had accepted each other and shared a place in Aiden’s heart, they did not want the competition to grow explosively.
That’s why they had planned on draining him dry in the morning itself. As long as they satisfied his desires, he wouldn’t go around collecting women.
At least then they would have some time with Aiden before he shifted another person into his heart.
While she was glaring at him, Aiden walked up to her and flicked her forehead.
"What dirty thoughts are you thinking now? Mila is my assistant."
Mila smiled and nodded. That had been the extent of their relationship on Earth. At least, for the moment.
"Oh..." Karina mumbled, looking awkward.
"Besides, she would be living with us now, it’s better if you get used to seeing each other around."
Aiden’s words shattered Karina’s composure, and she completely forgot what he had said before. Who could have blamed her?
Alisha and Karina, both women, were allowed into his unit only after establishing a certain kind of relationship with him. Well, it was a bit different for Alisha since she knew Aiden from before.
But the gist was that he only brought ’his’ women into his unit. Not a stranger!
Since he was moving Mila there too, didn’t it mean the two had already done the duet? Karina’s gaze turned fierce for a moment before she let out a sigh.
What was the point in crying about it when certain things had already happened?
It was better to recruit Mila into their clique and prevent the mistake from happening again.
The only silver lining was that she knew Mila from before. She wasn’t someone who would pursue Aiden out of malice. Alisha might not be pleased, but it was all good.
"I see.. If that’s the case, then..." Karina mumbled, hugging Mila. "Welcome to the family."
Mila’s hands were pinned to her side as she turned towards Aiden.
My lord? Is something wrong with her?
Aiden shrugged. He had no idea what was going on inside Karina’s head.
"Well, it’s a good thing you’re here," Aiden said, stepping outside the unit. "I was about to look for you and Alisha."
"M-Me and Alisha?" Karina stammered, her thoughts instantly going back to the morning.
Does he want to try it with all three of us now!? Aiden! You can’t be serious—ouch!
Another flick to the head, and Karina was back on Earth from her imaginary world.
"Always thinking about weird stuff," Aiden teased her. "Unlike you, I don’t always think about getting laid. Now get Alisha and come to the terrace. I want to check something."
With that, Aiden walked out with Mila in tow.
"Terrace? What does he want to do on the terrace? Don’t tell me..." Karina gasped. "No one visits the terrace, so does he want to fool around like he did on the balcony with Alisha!?"
A few minutes later, Karina and Alisha stepped onto the terrace together. The moment they entered, their eyes fell on Aiden.
He stood at the center, enjoying the afternoon sun while doing stretches... while shirtless. They had seen his naked body before, but something about him being covered in sweat awakened something in the women.
"Done stripping me?" Aiden smiled and turned around, catching them in the act. "If you’re done, then grab one."
The women looked at one another.
"Grab one?" Karina asked. "One of what?"
"His hands... maybe?" Alisha replied, looking uncertain herself.
"i meant the spears..." Aiden sighed, pointing toward the side of the terrace. "Grab the spears."
Mila was standing there, next to her was a pile of makeshift spears.
"...oh, I get it," Karina mumbled, scratching her cheek. "He probably wants to train with us..."
"..."
Alisha looked at Aiden, trying to think whether she was disappointed or relieved. Frankly, she was still a bit sore and tired after the morning.
Before either of them could take a step, a massive shadow swept over the terrace, blocking out the sun. Everyone looked up at once, just to see a massive bird diving straight toward them.
"SCREEE!" The bird screeched, extending its talons towards Aiden.
"Aiden, get back!" Karina yelled, transforming into her werewolf form.
Aiden, however, simply crossed his arms over his bare chest and grinned confidently.
"Right on time," he smirked.
Right before the massive talons could get close, the bird slammed into the invisible barrier at full speed.
The impact sent a shockwave through the barrier. At the same time, the giant bird was shoved backward. It flapped to regain balance, circling once before hovering a short distance away, clearly confused and angry.
