Another World Mall-Chapter 984: Entrances
"There are four entrances. Here, here, here, and here." Canes pointed at four different spots on the map. "However, three of these were actually traps. There were multiple surveillances that could catch you easily.
"Meanwhile, the real trap is actually on the fourth entrance. It is because it looks less guarded that you think this is your chance. You won’t realize that this is actually the real trap.
"If you force your way through this entrance, you will have to face all the security guards, including the Tier 8 humans.
"As such, you can only enter this place by two means. The first is to go through these three entrances. However, this also means you don’t mind if they capture your movements.
"I went through the same thing and got myself banned from the towers. However, the reason I accepted the punishment was that during my entry, I created a fifth entrance.
"It would be a very narrow gap, and it would be troublesome if you moved in a large group.
"But you could succeed if you..." Canes turned to Vina.
Vina nodded with a serious expression. "Don’t worry. The distraction has been prepared. This is the reason I’m here in the first place."
"That will be good then. By creating a distraction that will lead them to move slightly toward this entrance." Canes pointed at the real-trap entrance. "You will create a narrow gap that allows you to enter this narrow passage. I have created several paths as well as the hiding spots for you to enter here. Though, you might have to eliminate a few soldiers along the way, but it shouldn’t be too hard for you, especially with your strength, right?"
"If it’s a few normal soldiers, yes. If it’s the Tier 8 humans, no," answered Clovis.
Vina added, "There will be two distractions. The first distraction is by trying to enter this place forcefully. The second distraction will come from different countries. We will let them think that we’re about to enter the country, not the tower."
"That will be good." Canes nodded.
Clovis thought for a moment. He didn’t really mind if he got found out. After all, as long as they managed to enter the tower, the rest didn’t matter.
Of course, there was also a chance that they would be ambushed once they left the tower.
So, the key would be speed.
Clovis asked, "There is one thing I want to confirm. How about the bottom of the tower? Is there anyone guarding that place?"
"None. There is no city or base that I know of." Cane said, shaking his head.
"In that case, we will do it as quickly as possible." Clovis raised two fingers at Vina. "I need information about it quickly. We will also need a rendezvous point. The best way to leave the underworld is by leaving through another country’s tower. Our allies can do that for us, right?"
"Yes. We have secured two towers for your use. I will give you the location after this." Vina nodded.
"I will add it to the database." Melody thought for a moment. "Do we need a vehicle?"
Clovis shook his head. "Well, running should be fine, right?"
Clovis turned to the rest of the group. There was no way to bring their bus, so they had no choice but to run. But there was no telling how dangerous the underworld around the tower was.
There might be Tier 9 beasts, so they had to be extra careful.
Canes was a bit skeptical. The biggest problem would be the supply. If they wanted to head to another country, even the nearest tower they possessed, the group would have to travel for 160 km at the very least.
Coupled with the dangers hidden in their path, they would need at least two weeks to even reach that area.
So, the supply would be a problem. They had to find rivers and cook beasts to survive.
They had to be constantly on the lookout because the beasts weren’t the only ones after them.
However, Clovis’ plan was different from what Canes had in mind. There was no shortage of supplies. Another World Mall could provide them easily.
So, their movement would be unpredictable because they didn’t need to replenish their water supply in the river or other water sources.
This would prevent the enemy from knowing their exact position.
Clovis also had a backup plan, but he didn’t know whether it would be possible or not. Nevertheless, it wouldn’t hurt to ask later.
Clovis asked, "So, when are we supposed to enter?"
"In two days. The security was quite lax on that day. You will have a higher chance of entering this tower."
"In that case, I will start the commotion two days later." Vina nodded and walked away for a moment before returning with a briefcase.
She then opened it. "Three hundred million untraced cash. It has been moved multiple times through shell companies, so you don’t need to worry about your safety.
"The mutated beast soul will be given to you once they enter the tower." Vina closed the briefcase again.
"Good. Very good." Canes smiled.
It turned out Canes wanted the mutated beast soul. It was no wonder Silvia asked him to kill a mutated beast.
"It would have been better if it were a Tier 8 mutated beast..." Canes said casually but was soon countered by Vina’s glare, so he corrected himself. "Well, of course, that’s only possible if you are a Tier 9 human. No offense. Just a casual remark, so please forget that."
"So, where are we staying?" Clovis asked. They needed to wait for two days, so they should at least get plenty of rest.
Vina wasn’t the one arranging their accommodation. It was Canes.
Canes pointed up. "You don’t mind a small bedroom, right?"
"It should be enough for your beasts as well."
Clovis then stood up. "Melody. I need a complete plan for our dive this time. Expect that we will stay for two to three weeks. Depending on the situation, I might change our destination, so please arrange the first two scenarios first."
"Got it."
"Everyone can rest for now."
